“The original purchase was scheduled for delivery between 6:00-8:00 pm on day one. At 7:50 I contacted the service desk and was told that the delivery was pushed to the next day (from 9:00-11:00). OK not happy but let go. The next day at 10:30 contacted the service desk - when was delivery. The response was that tech was behind and would be delivering at 12:30. He did show up and did a great job. Unless I followed up, I did not receive communication. You need to improve communication with customers.”

“5 - Great service, Micheal knew my vehicle and installed the new battery rather quickly. He then tested it and also tested my charging system which was helpful... piece of mind that I'm in good shape moving forward. Thanks!”

“Premium pricing but in the end it was worth not bothering a friend for help. Service tech Rob Polk was efficient and quick. His diligence also corrected the battery order which might have delayed repair further. All in all a pretty good experience. Thank you!”

“My recent experience results in a mixed review... While I was very happy to have a 'technician' come to my home and bring a new battery for my vehicle, I was also disappointed by the technician's lack of knowledge and skill. The young tech took a very long time to get the job done, and was only able to complete the job with my assistance. I watched a YouTube video about the battery replacement procedure for my particular vehicle, and I had to share what I learned and show the tech how to remove and replace the battery. He needed my help to lift the old battery out and also needed my help to insert the new battery. The technician was careless in keeping track of which screws/bolts he removed and made mistakes when trying to put things back together. It was only with my help and advisement that the job was able to get finished. I was not impressed with the technician's lack of skill when it came to doing the work.”

“Correct battery was installed, and the technician was great. However, my appointment was 1-3pm and I had to contact Customer Support after 3pm to get a status update. I was told the new ETA would be closer to 5pm - which ended up being accurate. I am understanding of unexpected delays, but I was very disappointed that I was not proactively notified that the battery would arrive 2 hours late than the window I was given, which disrupted my day even further. Probably would not use this service again due to this.”

“The service was excellent. Mechanic Ismael was super knowledgeable and done his job fast and with very high quality. I would recommend everybody who has dead battery call 1-800-Battery first, if you want quality, quick replacement, with very good price!”

“AVOID AT ALL COST!! This company is a scam! My service request was below average and I did not receive the DieHard Gold battery that I purchased. Instead I received an FVP battery that died on me the next day. After reaching out to customer service to request warranty service, I was told that the company policy had just changed a day after I purchased and I would have to pay $99 to service a faulty new battery that their company sold me. After not agreeing to this, I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager is really busy and would give me a call back at a later time which they never did. I ended up having to purchase another new battery from AAA and regrettably, accepting my loss of $362 from this scam company as a lesson learned. STAY AWAY!!!!!”

“I had my battery replaced in my 2011 Mercedes Benz and after trying to drive home from work a new light alerted on my dashboard and I could no longer accelerate. This has never happened and I had no dashboard alert prior to needing a new battery. I called back to 1-800 Battery to see if someone would come check to see if it was installed properly or if a certain reset was needed in order to get my car working normally, whoever I was speaking to would not help me and only said for $99 someone can come check the battery. I told him the battery is fine, they just replaced it, he kept saying "Umm" and wouldn't offer anything other assistance. I asked for the manager, he said he wasn't in, even at 10:38am on a Tuesday. I offered to speak to his voicemail even and he wouldn't do that. He said he had my information and he would call me back when the supervisor came in. This was yesterday morning and still no one has reach out. Extremely unprofessional and if you aren't sure you fixed a certain call then you should not be working on them.”

“I scheduled an appointment for them to come to my place of employment to replace my car battery. I let them know from the beginning that my vehicle was a hybrid. The earliest same day appointment was 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Jaylen called to let me know they would not be able to come until 4:30-5:00 PM. I had to repeatedly call Jaylen and someone finally showed up after 7:00 PM. The person that showed up was unprepared, had no idea where the battery was in a hybrid car. He kept on saying it should be in the back seat. I had to google where the battery was to tell him. I had to remove the covering of the battery in the vehicle myself. He had the hardest time removing the battery. He didn't want to place the protective cover over the new battery because in his words that was just a hassle. I had to put the covering back in the vehicle myself after the battery was installed. He had no flashlight just his cell phone. I had to use my cell phone flashlight so that he could have light. I thought this would be a fast and convenient way to have my car battery replaced. Instead it was expensive and they were extremely unreliable. Jaylen kept on telling me the person coming to change the battery was not answering their phone.”

“The response time was great, and the installation went well. The only quibble I have is that a written 3 year warranty for the actual battery that was installed wasn't provided. I was told just to hold on to the receipt.”
