“I have not received my order and after having contacted customer service several times, have not received an update, an apology or a refund. I am appalled. Worst customer treatment I have ever received. My last email to achica was closed by customer service as resolved as I hadn't responded after 3 days?!?! They told me they would be in touch with an update, so why should I have had to respond? The last time I ordered I received a damaged item, but since it was a small ceramic heart pendant purchased in the sale, it seemed to much hassle to send it back, take pictures and complain further. Won't be shopping there again, which is a shame for the business since I had shopped with them for several years.”

This is the 2nd time this has happened and their lack of customer service is astonishing. With so many other of these sites opening I think that Achica will be left behind. “I have been a customer almost since Achica's inception.
At the start I would have given probably 4 stars - now ONE ... and that's generous.
Recently they have been consistently beyond the last estimated delivery date
(just today I am informed - after I had to chase - that delivery of a set of plates for which the order was placed AND PAID FOR on 5 June will now be delivered on 7 August (latest estimate!)
Worst still, several items over the past year have been advised as unobtainable (again often following MY having to chase when they go past the delivery estimate).
From March to the present this year, THREE orders have been advised as 'non obtainable from supplier' NOT when the order was placed, but again beyond the last delivery estimate.
These items have been refunded, but of course Achica had my money over that time.
I am currently in dispute re mail-cost refund when the 2 main items in an order (again which it fell to ME to chase have just been aadvised 'unobtainable' - in my order there was a VERY small add-on item which they did send (early!) value just £3 and as they are insisting that I still have to pay their mimimum £4.99 post charge - leaves this very low-value item costing me a ridiculous £7.99 !!!
I used to recommend Achica in the early days ... but no longer - and "if and when" I get those plates in the last outstanding order - in August!!! that will almost cerainly be my last.”
“I am always very pleased with my purchases. On the rare occasion I have had to contact Achica - possibly because of an overdue delivery - the service is extremely courteous and efficient. They constantly upgrade their website which is very user friendly.”
“Trying to return a delivered damaged desk and to get a refund, keep arranging for them to collect it, with no courier turning up, This has happened 2 times, with me taking time off work. You cannot contact them by phone, the only means of contact is email, you have to wait days for anyone to respond to your email. Then when they do, and you reply, it takes another few days for the arranged date to be scheduled, but with no courier turning up. A vicious cycle going on, with no resolution and if they do ever come and collect the damaged desk, it might be years for you to get the refund back, in which you have forgotten to chase. AVOID. Will be reporting them to trading standards.”
“I wanted to return a £400+ bed that i had ordered & it wasn't right. This story could go on for ages so i'll cut it as short as I can. Collection of the bed was arranged by Achica twice & it wasn't collected. I had to send ranting emails because they don't have a customer services phone number. I learned that the courier they use is one of the poorest out there. Hundreds (that's no exaggeration) of really really bad reviews online. Eventually Achica rung me and booked it in for collection a third time. This time it was collected & over 2 weeks later i still had no refund. Again, another ranting email to Achica got them to make the payment - oh, but it won't land in my account for up to 3 working days...! So at time of writing this, i still havent had my £444.60 back into my account; nearly 3 months after requesting the return. I'm in the middle of a house renovation so every penny is needed, which i stressed to Achica. Very poor service, no apologies, no compensation, no care & most of all, nothing to make me want to shop there again.”
“I ordered a coffee table from Achica in March 2017 with provisional delivery date on May 9th. In May I emailed Achica online customer service to query where my delivery was. No one replied after a week. So I emailed them again. Customer service then replied and said they would look into it and get back to me after 7 working days. 8 days later, they replied and advised that my delivery would be dispatched on June 9th and someone would contact me to arrange a time slot. By mid-June, there were no sign of my delivery nor anyone had tried to contact me. I emailed again to customer service, and it was their usual response that they would get back to me after 7 working days. On June 19, customer service emailed me and told me that the stock was due on that day and someone will contact me in the next 3 days to arrange for delivery. Today is June 29, and no one tried to contact me at all.
My delivery has been 50 days overdue and there is still no sign of when it will arrive. Every time when I email to ask where my delivery is, I had the same response that no one can give me an answer in the next 5-7 working days. I asked to speak to someone or to be provided a contact number for the delivery company, but my request has been ignored so far.
It has been a very frustrating experience dealing with Achica and I fail to find any reason to consider using them again.”

Ordered a rather nice king size divan frame with headboard, paid approx £350 after 20 % discount. It was delivered in the time frame given on the site, but no attempt from the couriers to contact me to say when it would be delivered as I would have to be in to sign, no way of leaving this baby with the neighbours!!! The administration staff were hopeless at Archica, they responded, you will have it by ....
So the couriers didn't ring or email, they attempted to deliver it when I was out, left their calling card with their contact details, consignment no, now this is brilliant.... I rang the courier depot at Heathrow, gave my consignment number, postcode, no sorry no ones been to you today, WHAT!!! he even rang the driver who does my area, no the driver said he had not been here!! After 20 minutes on the phone, I asked the manager to call their Head office, they did and funnily enough they found my order details.The next day I did get a phone call from the delivery driver to say what time he was coming, I started to explain where my house was on the road, he said I know "I went there yesterday" !!!!!!!!!!
The divan bed itself is COMPLETLY (apart from the headboard) flat packed, including the drawers, an Argos job, hundreds of screw holes with hundreds of screws and bits of MDF, Never again £350 for a bed frame wasn't cheap so would expect a little putting together, but not that much.
My husband is a carpenter , took him 3 hours to put it all together!!
And as for my bed linen I ordered at the same time, with the same delivery
Date, which was in stock at time of ordering , is now out of stock😡😡😡😡where is my order. !! Definitely John Lewis next time.”
“I would warn people to stay away from this company I strongly believe they are accepting orders with no intention of fulfilling them but simply holding onto your money for free credit. I have over the last 6 months waited for various furniture orders totaling over £1k. In each and every case they kept saying delayed , trying to confirm date blah blah blah . But then I'd suddenly get told after 5 months of waiting that the order would not be fulfilled and a refund would be issued. However no explanation and no compensation worth anything. I'm now asking their shareholders Dunelm and Lansdown Partners for an explanation of their trading practices and compensation for providing a credit line to them. Suggest anyone else facing the shoddy treatment by this company do the same. Perhaps if their shareholders are held to account something may change and customers get decent treatment.”
“tried to obtain a refund for an order cancelled only 1 day after placing the order, two months on, and despite emails from Achica promising a refund, I staill have not had it. This is totally unacceptable. Avoid at all costs if you may need to ask for a refund. I have had to resort to asking for my bank to persue the refund through the credit card guarantee scheme. Very bad form from Achica.”
