I just wanted to cancel my card they kept telling me the system was down for hours. His name was Aden so he says CMB1 employee number. Any way I finally got in contact State of Delaware office of banking commission. Barkley's CEO is Mr Jeffery Turner chairman of the board phone number 410 548 7892

I have two cards by Barclaycard-I pay my bills on time-it’s been a terrible experience. I’ve had them for too long and now I’m never going to use them again. On top of it, I was just on hold for 20+ minutes waiting for customer service…done!

Never get a credit card. Interest rate is t9 high I canceled my card . paid what i owed. My account was closed and i charged a late fee after my account was closed for 2 months. I never used my card after i closed it and they charged a 29.9 interest rate on the late fee.

DO NOT EVERY OPEN A CARD WITH THIS BANK !!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE CUSTOMER AT ALL THEY ARE THE WORST BANK AND PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH!!!! THE HATE AMERICANS!!!!

I wasted dozens of hours over the course of 8 months trying to get reimbursed for a charge I did not make. No one in Customer Support was truly trying to help me and resolve my issue - instead it was rope-a-dope” where nothing was done. Until I got the BBB involved and my state’s Attorney General, I was ignored. Fast forward to today, and it’s all the same complaints…. Nothing has changed!!!

HORRIBLE! I bought a shirt for $25 on my new Old Navy CC. The first bill was delayed in the mail (around Christmas when the USPS was bogged down and slow). I paid the $25 and asked that the later fee be waived. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE WAIVED. I proceeded to get 7 months of bills charging me late fees for the late fee that was supposed to be waived. I spoke with Customer "Service" numerouns times and every time they were very nice and said the fees would be waived. Finally they waived $164 of late fees (for not paying the original late fee that was supposed to be waived). I finally gave in and paid $52.75 (the latest late fee and interest) because I did not have the energy to argue any more. DO NOT GET AN OLD NAVY CREDIT CARD OR ANY CREDIT CARD FROM BARCLAYS.

This is the worst credit card to have!! Please if you can, avoid opening one!! Customer service is awful. I misunderstood a promotion in which they offered 0 % balance transfers after a fee on the transfer; I thought it offered 0% on purchases as well. I called customer service to inquire about the possibiblity of waiving the fee I had paid on the transfer since I was going to pay the whole balance off on the next statement date. So I first spoke with agent Tess who put me on hold but then disconnected me while contanctinge her supervisor. I called again and asked to speak with a manager. Manager Laura came on the line next. Laura was the rudest and inflexible person I'ver ever delt with. She said to me: "you shouldn't done the transfer if you didn't want to pay the fee!", and that was that! No help! I will basically pay $52 to the bank for a $0 balance account starting next month. Thank you Laura for being so understanding. I don't recommend this card.

This is by far the most difficult credit card company I've had to deal with. After placing two separate calls to customer service, I STILL cannot access my account online. I've had to answer over a dozen "security questions" to verify my account. The customer service agents have difficulty pronouncing the various models of cars, universities, etc. that I may or may not have purchased/attended causing issues. In fact, the customer service BS feels very phishy and made me uncomfortable with the security protocols. The potential to earn airline miles is not worth this ridiculousness!!!

Horrible Company! Wish I had never signed up. I was scammed and they will not refund the money and are charging me interest. Criminals, they are! Visa and American Express take care of their customers when the World tried to rob them! Barclays Carnival Cruise Mastercard robs you twice! Anne France Tremege P.S. I will never pay them! There goes my 813 credit score. I will prevail!

I signed up for this card with American Airlines with a promotion indicating that they will waive the $99 membership fee. It has been 10 months and they have not refunded the fee, I have called written to them and filed a complaint with the better business bureau but they have not issued a refund of the membership fee for the first year. This is a bait-and-switch technique that they use to lie to customers. They also change me for an extra day when I did not spend that day at the hotel. They agreed to issue me a refund when I call they asked me to send in all the documentation to them which I did in a timely manner. It's been several months and they have not issued me my credit.

These ppl are outsourced. Great job that they know 5-8 languages. That's crazy awesome if you can comprehend, read wrote & speak. I requested help & was told they understood & would do what was requested, yet when I called back nothing was done or accomplished. All of what I said was misunderstood or misconstrued, either way this seems to happen MORE Often, than not. I'm done with all the mishaps, Bad service, Bad follow through.

Horrrible, horrible company, worst customer service ever!!! Was on a flight and decided to get a card for the 50K miles. I rang up a few hundred dollars, couple months later they ding my credit report for 110 points!! Never received a communication from them in the way of an email or mailed invoice. I have 3 other cards with them years old, perfect credit, not a blip and they would not help remove the negative credit. $29 payment cost me thousands now in borrowing power. No customers service, could not have cared less. Paid all of them all off and closed every account with them. The suck!! Dont get the rewards on your flights, dont use Barclays, better cards out there that care about the customer.

The interest rate on this card is not worth it- My minimum payment of $257 of which $171 goes to interest. Not worth it! I did a balance transfer and ran!

Been a long time customer but not using the arrival plus enough to justify the fee. They were completely unwilling to waive the fee or convert to a non fee account. The suggestion was too cancel the card and apply for a new one, which will ding my credit score twice. Really poor customer service and inflexibility.

Worst customer service EVER. Lost an extremely large check which was to clear my account and they can't find it. I have a copy of the check as well as a return receipt showing. when it was received by them and they are not interested in the extra information I can send them. Then they tell me it will take 1-2 billing cycles to get it straightened out and in the meantime they continue to call me saying I am past due. As soon as this is resolved I am going to cut up this card.

Worst business card ever. I have 6 business cards with a credit limit of $41,000. Our cards were declined a week ago and I have made 9 phone calls to get them reactivated with no luck. Each phone call was an hour long or more, I was hung up on 4 times, had the cards reauthorized 4 times, had the limits taken off all the cards, which I felt very uncomfortable doing and no one is able to figure out why my cards are being declined. This is so frustrating and not acceptable. Would never recommend this card or bank to anyone.

If I could give them a minus 10 I would. After being a long time client (12 years) and always happy with their service, I disputed a charge due to a tour company’s lack of deliverance on the product. I had all the necessary documents for the dispute. Barclay was notified I would be out of the country for one month. During this time they sent by snail mail only, a time sensitive document to be signed. There was no attempt to contact me by email or text just snail mail. So by the time I returned to the US, the timeline had passed. In spite of my month long attempts to reopen this dispute there didn’t seem to be anyone listening. I had asked to speak w a supervisor on several occasions and was told one would contact me. This never happened. After so much frustration I finally gave up and decided to close my account because of this dreadful service I was given. Shockingly, a supervisor contacted me immediately regarding the cancellation of the card! She also offered to have a supervisor contact me regarding the dispute something I had been asking for all month. But It has been 6 months and I’m still waiting for someone to contact me. What a joke. Not only did they screw me for $1400 but they dinged my credit rating I assume as a result of the dispute. Pass on Barclay and Find a more reputable company

WHAT A JOKE. I APPLIED FOR A CARD OVER 5 MONTHS AGO. OUT OF COUNTRY CUSTOMER SERVICE, MAIL IN ID, UTILITY BILLS, ETC. ALL TO GET TOLD THE APPLICATION TIMED OUT. I WILL STICK WITH UNITED AIRLINES OR AMEX. NO ONE HERE KNOWS WHAT DAY IT IS.

Very bad customer service after 15 years as a customer with barclays and barclaycard , i had Miss Paige who really treat us in very challenging manner very u professional unfair,the worest example every for customer relations team. On otherhand alot of customers had different outcomes from better agents really very unfair ever she said over the phone i know that some agents will deal differently when i told her i was sorted by different agent better than this and she admitted that it depends on the agents was really a shock to agree that not only terms and conditions is the method but yes sometimes we like and dislike very unfair and unprofessional .
