Conversation messed up by them! What a joke! Was on Auto pay and they removed and don’t send bill to get fees. Never Never do business with them!

I paid them off, I charged again then the lowered my credit limit. I paid my payments on time every month then they closed my account. Now they want to charge more interest on a lower account balance then the month before.

RIPOFF!!! Lost my card, i had proof where i was that day. Never used any card in the city where the thief used it. First they took off the charges, then they put them back on saying i shopped at that chain store before. NOT IN THAT CITY! There is 100 Turkey hill stores in Pennsylvania! Even after i covered the theft. I received a credit for a pair of returned boots that didn't fit. $170.00 credit they kept that too! Barclays stole from me after 8 years of perfect credit with them. Never 1 late payment! Furthermore when you call you get people that cant even speak English and wont get you someone who can! ZERO STARS! THIEFS! DO NOT GET THIS CARD!

A company that I bought one item from and specifically OPTED OUT of their recurring subscription charged me for the subscription anyway. The retail company could not be contacted to cancel the charge, all their contact information was a false front. I disputed the charge and Barclays called me back to tell me that without proof of cancellation they would not do a chargeback. Of course there is no proof of cancellation, you can't cancel something YOU NEVER SIGNED UP FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. I am also having a ton of other issues with card/account fraud and their customer service is the literal worst. Every time I call it is like they have no record of my account, they never actually save information or resolve issues. You cannot speak to anyone with any authority because they have outsourced their call centers overseas to reduce cost and responsibility. The language barrier is also difficult because their workers are following a script in a language they do not speak, so they cannot actually help you unless you stick exactly to their script. Do not trust your money with this company.

Just wanting to share my experience with you. I had Barclay credit card until l had a problem. I purchased a life alert system it cost me 149.00 a month. The first unit did not work so they sent another one and that was defective too. DO NOT TRSUT BARCLAY CREDIT CARD!!! I DID A DISBUTE AND BARCLAY SIDED WITH THE LIFE LINE ALERT CROOKS!! BEWARE WHICH CREDIT CARD YOU GET THIS COMPANY 1000 PERCENT WILL HOT HAVE YOUR BACK!!! JUST A REMINDER ALSO NOBODY CAN GUARANTEE IT WILL CALL FOR HELP IF YOU FALL AND ARE UNCONSCIOUS. THEY ARE ALL CHARGING EXTRA 10.00 FOR FALL ALERT. THAT IS A FALSE CHARGE. BECAUSE THERE ARE ZERO GUARANTEES IT WILL EVEN WORK. WHICH IS WHY I NEEDED UNIT. I FELL WAS ON FLOOR 6 DAYS I HIT MY HEAD WAS IN A COMA FOR 2 MONTHS. NO GUARANTEE NO FALL ALERT IF YOU CAN'T PRESS THE ALERT BUTTON!!! One star is to much for Barclay credit card.

Service is non-existing, more of dis-service... Extra money were taken during auto-payment; called service center and they assured me that they will send me a check for extra money ($1562) they took, but never did! Bunch of liers! They will tell you and promise anything, just to get rid of you... Don't do business with them, I am cancelling my card!

When you want to pay your bill over the phone BARCLAYS the customer service will not take your checking account debit card so I recommend DO NOT TRY TO WASTE YOUR TIME GETTING A BARCLAY CARD from them all they want is to give you trouble with signing up with them

Barclaycard has a policy of lying to customers, hanging up and promising to call back, but never do. Barclaycard also does not honor the dispute process and refuses to go to arbitration. Barclaycard also committed fraud and kept thousands of dollars that did not belong to them. This is a crooked bank company and should not be trusted by anyone. A few of the many crooked employees on behalf of the banks direction, with employee ID numbers, are Gem ID # TICVAB ,Maria # TICMLM,John ID #COELES , Jan (manager) ID # 5905323 , Kelly ID# 65222 , Mary ID# 6054369 ,Laurie (Manager) ID # LASLCA ,Jan (manager) ID # 5905323 ,Valerie ID# 5997939. The list goes on and on.

Appalling company. Have stolen our money, claiming they can't find our bank details, yet conveniently have the bank details to withdraw their monthly direct debit. Causing massive stress for a small family business, a mother with young children and a high risk pregnancy. Shocking customer service, do not give a damn about their customer, have spent the entire process trying to blame someone else.

Unfortunately I applied for Barclaycard purely for Avios points when I saw their advert on FB, they have been very kind to approve my application and offer me a very generous offer of £200 (yes two hundred) something I had 30 - 40 years ago, however since this very generous limit would not even cover purchase of toilet rolls I decided to inform them that I WILL NOT BE NEEDING their card but it is almost impossible to contact them by any means and in meantime I have received the card which I have put in my shredder to end this sorry saga.

Please let your friends know not to ever get a credit card or get involved with this bank. They are horrific. If you ever have a dispute or a fraud issue they are impossible to deal with. I reported them to Consumer finance.gov they don’t care. I gave them pages and pages of information on this fraud/dispute transaction and all kinds of proof that this transaction was not legitimate. I finally did the work myself called the travel agency and the hotel spent hours going back and forth with Barclays they did not care. Out of 25 different customer service people I talked to ONE Rep who felt my pain!!! To make a long story short I got the refund from the travel agency who said they were waiting for the bank to contact them! Six months of pure aggravation. I kept asking for proof this was my transaction and never received it. The refund was sent to them they got their money and they still charged me interest and ruined my superior credit score. I’m a banker with 35 years experience so believe me people stay away from this bank and their customer service they treat you with absolutely NO respect! BTW I got the proof after they got their money and there was the reason for all this mess right before my eyes that not one of those fraud examiner's caught. Good riddance Barclays Bank!

After years of paying thousands of dollars and being a loyal customer they continue to charge my card a certain amount from 2 merchants over and over again. I have to call the merchants and I got the credits not Barclaycard. I had to do their work and waste hours of my time. Then surprise the charges appear again. I cancel the card and get another one with a different card number and like magic the same 2 charges appear over and over. The charges are not much but wow! Now I have to call the fraud department that would not help me originally to ask why they keep doing this. Is this the Muppet show?

BARCLAY IS THE VERY WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVERY HAD! I'm a 30-year AIR Force veteran ....having worked as a Human Resource Manager...we would have been fired for such incompetence! I have been trying to get ONE SIMPLE question answered and have been on hold .....and transferred now from 11 am to 2:30 pm and STILL NO ANSWERS! Does the CEO know this is going on in the company? Just look at the below complaints...obviously NO ONE CARES. I even had a SO-CALLED SUPERVISOR HANG UP ON ME. Some of the incompetent people I have talked to are Cherlyn ID # COE818....Brandy ID # ALSBBL....and others refused to give their ID numbers or told me that they don't have one!!!! Really? This is a travel card and they can't answer my question so what do they do? Just keep transferring the call!!! Is this what Barclay trains their people to do? and another problem....ALL THE SUPERVISORS ARE BUSY....NO ONE WILL TRANSFER YOU TO ONE. DOES MANAGEMENT KNOW THIS? I would like someone from the CEO's office to call me so I can let him/her know what is going on. If this is going to be how Barclay treats customers then people need to find another travel card that will be responsive. I have filed a complaint with a customer rep and we will see if they care about us and our business.

Takes over and over to get in or not at all. Customer service a laugh! Hard to even pay your bill!! I wonder if they’re trying to discourage low interest AARP customers!!

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waiting now for over 93 minutes to get through to a customer service representative. Also paid balance before it was due and they charged me £90.00+. Such a dreadful company if you can go elsewhere.

Just horrible customer service. You do business with them for 10 years and they won’t support you when you’re being taken advantage of by predatory merchants. I’m out the goods that I sent back and $180. What a joke. GO WITH AMEX!

Bad company if a fraudulent charge has been made. They made me jump through the hoops after notifying me of fraudulent charge. I had to call the company that charge my card and explain I didn't make the charge, of course they didn't care and wouldn't reverse the charge and then Barclay continued with the charge because charging company had tracking number that I had receive the product when I never did. Wouldn't even give them one star.
