It's lots of hassle dealing with DHL. Unlike UPS, in order to make a payment you have to go to different site. They don't take PayPal that is another thing. They don't take duty payment on delivery time but they keep your shipment on hold and would send you notice at the end like you don't pay duty in 1 or 2 days we will return your shipment. I would rather go with other services who takes payment at doorsteps and I get my shipment on time.

De zoveelste keer dat dhl afspraken niet nakomt, status pakket geleverd echter weer niks ontvangen. Bij buren niet etc. Dit is nu al de 5e x sinds vorig jaar dhl bezorgers ( niet allemaal) nemen hun baan niet serieus en dumpen het bellen niet aan okal ben je thuis of brengen het zomaar naar een dhl punt of brengen het pakket helemaal niet. Dhl neem verantwoording i.p.v. aangeven bij de verzender het probleem te zoeken ben dhl zo zat!!

I have a business account with DHL and they refuse to sell me a size 8 box or give me a size 8 box. Plus the employees that work at the front desk of each facility for DHL they have no manners,disrespectful and rude..Omar at 96st 12ave Manhattan says tht HIS policy.

In den letzten 10 Tagen hatte ich nur unschöne Erfahrungen mit dem Zustellservice. Es wurden Pakete an den Absender zurück gesendet, weil der Postbote das Paket "nicht zustellen" konnte. Wie das möglich ist, obwohl der Name der auf dem Paket angegeben wurde auch auf dem Briefkasten steht verstehe ich nicht. Ein anderes Paket hatte einen deutlichen Aufkleber "Do Not Bend Package" und der Postbote knickt das Paket und quetscht es so stark in den Briefkasten, dass der Inhalt kaputt gegangen ist. Warum können die Beamten nicht lesen? Die Werte von DHL sind, das Leben der Kunden zu vereinfachen. Aber zur Zeit findet das Gegenteil statt. Alle diese Dinge, die für meine Hochzeit kundenspezifisch hergestellt wurden kommen entweder nicht mehr pünktlich an oder muss ich neu kaufen -- alles nur weil nicht gelesen wird was auf den Paketen steht. Wer bezahlt denn hetzt die Differenz? Ich etwa, als Strafe, dass ich alles richtig gemacht habe? Das kann nicht sein. Es ist wirklich bedauernswert und hinterlässt ein Gefühl das man nicht wertgeschätzt wird als Kunde.

I waited all day for a package only to get a notice that said package was attempted to be delivered, but resident wasn’t home! No One attempted anything! I did not sign a signature release only because the package was expensive and I wanted to receive it personally. I also have a dog that barks quite a bit. Nothing was attempted to be delivered. Why would they say that?! Very bad experience!

Probably the worst major courier I´ve used. A parcel was sent from Germany & they lost that. A replacement was sent 6 they lost it & returned it to Germany! They had my address AND their own DHL drop off point in my suburb, they failed to deliver to either. When I emailed I got the standard "we will reply in 24-72 hours". They didn´t & still haven´t. Add to that all the times they´ve damaged goods sent to me I have to say they´re the worst I´ve experienced.

I applied for the DHL Digital & Technology Graduate Programme and progressed through multiple selection stages, investing significant time in assessments and preparations. Just before the final assessment centre (Experience Day), DHL abruptly cancelled the hiring process due to "recent business changes." While I understand that business priorities shift, the lack of clear communication and transparency throughout the process was disappointing. Candidates were left without proper notice after weeks of effort. A more professional approach in handling recruitment decisions would have shown greater respect for applicants' time and commitment.

DHL driver hit my fence as he was backing out. All we heard was a very loud bang and when I looked out the window my fence was leaning and he was pulling off from the driveway. I reported to the company and can't seem to get a response or resolution. I have never used this company before and I will never again and I do not recommend any one else to either.

Dear DHL, The recent incident involving your handling of my package has been unprofessional, unacceptable, and unnecessary. Upon examination of the package, it was evident that there was no reason to defile the box, which does not belong to DHL. I have never witnessed such an attitude directed towards another individual’s property. Regarding the return request, it was never made to provide identification. The only requirement was to present identification upon dropping off the package at a designated DHL location. This is not our first shipment with DHL, and therefore, the claim that I did not provide identification is unfounded. It appears that this incident is targeted, and I require a more comprehensive explanation. It is highly unlikely that individuals would voluntarily add their personal identification to a consignment package. Therefore, I believe that the employee responsible for handling my shipment lacked respect for others’ property. In light of this incident, I recommend that the employee involved undergo additional training or seek employment that aligns better with their personality. Failure to uphold DHL’s standards is unacceptable. I trust that DHL will take this matter seriously and implement appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

Disappointing Service and heavy Charges - A Horrible Experience with DHL I recently had the unfortunate experience of using DHL, and I must say it was incredibly disappointing. From start to finish, the service was subpar, and the prices were exorbitant, especially considering the lack of quality in their delivery. First and foremost, the service was painfully slow. Despite being promised expedited shipping, my package arrived much later than expected. There was no clear communication about delays, and tracking updates were either inaccurate or non-existent. This lack of transparency left me in the dark, unsure of where my package was or when it would arrive. What made this even worse were the ridiculous charges. DHL's prices are outrageously high for the level of service they provide. Not only was the shipping fee excessive, but there were also hidden charges that were only revealed at the checkout stage. I had no clear explanation for these extra costs, and it felt like I was being overcharged for a service that barely met basic expectations. To make matters worse, when I tried to reach out to their customer service team, I was met with long response times and unhelpful replies. It felt as though my concerns weren’t taken seriously at all. Overall, I cannot recommend DHL based on my experience. Their prices are unjustifiable for the service provided, and the lack of communication or care in delivering packages is simply unacceptable. I will be exploring other, more reliable courier services going forward. Rating: 1/5

I get many packages to my home from other couriers, never any serious issues. I only have problems with DHL, and nearly every DHL delivery is problematic. I do my best to avoid using them, but sometimes a retailer doesn’t specify which international courier will be used and it winds up being them. Right now, I’m tracking a late DHL package and watching as it goes back and forth between my city and Los Angeles, for no good reason. In the past there have been fake delivery attempts, I’ve had to travel to the outskirts of the city to pick up the package because their couriers just can’t seem to get their xxxx together…truly hate-inspiring.

Zero Stars if I could. Shipped wine from Chile to US. Due Friday. Friday, didn't show. Web site just showed shipped from Chile. Saturday, got message that I owed import duty which I paid immediately. Given receipt and said it would be here Monday. Monday comes and goes, no wine. Tuesday, I track it and it says shipped from Chile. Digging further, it says I owe duty...the same duty that they sent me a paid receipt for. I call and finally get a representative instead of AI on a Loop. He said I owed Duty. I explained I have a receipt and he looked further and found it and said OK, they'll send it. They will send it on Wednesday. Wednesday...Five days later than promised. We'll wait and see. Wine...awesome. I'll be sure to let the winery know to get their shipping money back.

Very hard to get on phone with a live representative about my package. My address isvery clear on Amazon. They attempt delivery abd then said my address is not valid. Hmmm..... poor service. Disappointed!

I sent my nephew some small money via DHL, in the end they opened my package, stole my money and absolutely do not want to do anything about it because I should have reported that I was sending money. When I asked what they planned to do about their employee opening my shipment, they told me that they could not do anything about it. I definitely do not recommend DHL.

I was on 2.5 weeks leave when DHL sent the invoice. After I returned, I took a couple of days to clear my inbox and finally got to the DHL billing email, I submitted for processing. Then I received another email from DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM, saying that our account is under suspension. I replied to this email apologizing for the delay and explained that I just returned from my leave and had submitted the invoice and that the payment would be processed on Friday. Our payment run is on every Friday. To that, this DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM replied - "As a one-time exception, we will extend the deadline until Friday, 21st February 2025. If payment is not received by then, we will place the account on credit stop." Does this employee think he/she is a big shot? Fancy threatening us with these statements over a bill of $54? Putting our account on suspension and on credit stop? Does DHL think that they are the only international shipping company in Singapore? We are not owing them millions for months, for goodness sake. I am not impressed with DHL's attitude on this.
