I ordered a pair of boots. They ran out of my size so refunded me but didn't notify me. When I called them we arranged delivery of another pair of boots. This was two weeks ago. I have been trying to get in touch with Sports Shoes for 5 days now. They are not returning calls and often the phone wont even ring. I eventually got hold of a stroppy customer service agent who said a manager would call me. I am still waiting. Do not use this company unless you are prepared to be badly messed around. I am down around £60 with no boots to show for it.

Ordered shoes, received wrong type. Sent them back so they could send me the right ones. They automatically refunded my account. When I called them, they said they don't know why they refunded my account as the notes on the account aren't clear. Advised I won't be shopping with them again in the future, poor service.

If you live in America do not buy anything from Sportsshoes until you are 100% certain that you are keeping it. If you want to return an item postage can be $30 or more, and they could care less about that. Very very poor customer service. Totally awful experience

Terrible experience. Ordered a pair of Salamon walking shoes which arrived but were not the correct size. I returned them. Despite proof that the shoes had been delivered back to their returns dept. I was given ridiculous reasons why I could not be refunded from the shoes had only been delivered to the Royal Mail depot and not themselves to contacting Hermes (???..why the f*ck should they know where my return is?? I returned it with Royal Mail!!!)...Hopeless.....use Blacks....anybody but Sportsshoes.com!!!!

Spent an hour talking with expert twice and New Balance to check the shoes being advertised were right, then went to place the order that was in my basket to find it empty and my size no longer available. What of waste of my time that was. No sympathy shown when we pointed this out. Wont buy from them now, especially after reading reviews below which given my experience doesn’t surprise me.

Shoe sizing about saucony running shoes is very bad, ordered a shoes which came to big, asked for a refund of sending costs and was refused, highly not recommended, never buy anything from them

SportsShoes.com = Home of Expert Thieves! SportsShoes practice horrible and inexcusable business practices. After 24 days, SportsShoes still has not delivered my product nor have they been able to offer any tracking details on my order. I reached out to them multiple times, but the customer service agents — including Lucy and Xantha — said that I had to wait at least 3 weeks before they can even look into the issue. Their "expert advice" was to check with my neighbors to see if they may have the package! Even though they cannot even tell me if my package was ever even shipped! Their only action was to take my money and outrageous delivery fees almost 24 days ago. Instead of marketing themselves as "Home of Expert Advice," SportsShoes.com is practicing "Home of Expert Thieves!"

Awful: Mia-advertising items or dispatching correct items. Either way not what ordered. A week later they have still not approved my return/refund or issued a pre-paid return label. If they bother to respond, it’s to repeatedly ask for product information. Having supplied this numerous times they are now operating radio silence. They ignore requests for official complaints procedure. Incompetent, lazy, no idea of customer service/value. A truly horrible experience.

Beware!! On the day I made my purchase the site said it would be $1.99 for shipping for orders over $50. I didn’t notice until afterwards that they had charged me $7.98 for shipping. I emailed them to ask for the credit and ended up with a series of back and forth emails with them telling me that if there are additional items the cost would be higher. They mentioned that it is on their site but they have yet to prove that to me. What actually is on their site is that for orders up to $50 the shipping is 5.99 and for orders over $50 the cost is 3.99. My order was well over $50 and I was charged $7.98. Nowhere on their site does it mention additional charges for additional items. It is based on the value of the order not the number of items. I’m not even trying to get them to adjust it down to the 1.99 it should have been on that day. I just want them to adjust it to what their site says the cost will be! Their customer service team seems to be tone deaf! I have attached actual screen shots of their site saying shipping is $1.99 for orders over $50 on the day of my purchase, as well as the normal shipping policy of 3.99 for over $50. I have also sent these screen shots to their customer service but they refuse to honor what it says on their site! I have not received my items yet.

Bought a pair of trainers for £80 that are already falling apart after a month of light use. SportsShoes have ignored my emails and messages on Facebook for over a week now but they are busy posting marketing content. They only replied once I raised a dispute through Paypal and even then they were absolutely useless, sending the same canned responses not relevant to what I told them and they didn't make any return arrangements taking into consideration the current lockdown due to the covid-19. Absolutely useless company. Never again.

Horrible service from this company, wont give me a refund as saying they were worn , i wore them for 100 meter walk to shops and the shoes were agony and too small despite being my regular size 12, they are now arguing they will send them back to me without a refund, even if they dont fit me and perfectly fine to sell to someone else if they wish, now in the complaints process, terrible service and problems getting a refund/returning the shoes. I would never ever buy from them again.

Horrible service. They charge you, but then nothing is shipped and they keep telling that shipping company has it, although there is only electronic record that’s stuck in no actual movement. Refund also nowhere in sight. Stay away if you like to spend you money on actual items tou can use.

Never ever had such a disaster in my life before. Had two orders with them ...one of them never arrived, the other order was returned und now they lie that the return was not complete and steal my money. They lie about that by Paypal, but say by email the return was alright and evrything is good but still not have approved! 31 Emails so far..... DON'T DEAL WITH THEM

A band of incompetent and dishonest people. I had to buy a Vivobarefoot shoe, the shoe was sold at 126 €. of which 11 for a ridiculous frontlamp obligatory as a free gift !!!, I consulted the size chart on their site, boght it and then, after 10 days, I get, the shoe was 2 cm too much great. Check on the manufacturer's website and I realize that the Sportshoes size chart was completely wrong. I request a replacement with a smaller number and I ship the same day. I write to the customer care asking for the number to be put aside, they answer me after 24 hours to tell me that it is not their policy. They receive the return and the number I wanted was gone, they force me to ask for a refund. Very calmly, after a week I reimburse 115, deducting the price of the "free gift". I call Paypal which, given the serious misconduct, reimburses me immediately. Meanwhile, the number I requested reappears magically in stock ..... I offer to buy it after reimbursement of the return shipment cost, 15 € paid by me and declaring that I don't want the free gift ...... They refused writing that the free gift was discounted! What to say? Never again Sportshoes, incorrect and incompetent ......

Order number - 11254658- Unbelievable. I received a pair of white trainers which clearly have orange stains on them. After three days of emails and back and forth saying that they aren’t not receiving my photos, they have finally seen the photos. Now they have asked me to send these back at my own cost for them to inspect. Perhaps they should inspect them before sending them to me and this would be avoided. I’ve also been told that they will only refund my returns cost up to a value of £4.99, so let’s hope I don’t have to pay more than that. There was also no mention of how they will compensate me once they confirm that there are orange stains on them accept from sending me what I originally paid for. What a joke, do not use this website.

Extremely slow communication. Responding to simple questions for the Customer Service takes 24+ hours. After 4 days they suggested that my order is cancelled, but hours after it is still listed as "Open" in their own system and the charges are still on my account.

I liked the shoes and shopping experience but encountered problems with the support regarding an Amazon order I did simultaneously:ORDER # 204-7759034-0696348 I returned those shoes with the reason of manufacturer fault. I claimed an Amazon A to Z refund, but it has been two weeks now and last time I called SportShoes they told me to close the claim for them to help me. Which I think is ridiculous, they can close the claim themselves, which will lead to my refund. Now I have waited more than two weeks and still haven't received my money back. I don't understand why they are holding something that belongs to me. It was not my fault that the shoes are faulty, they can just accept the mistake and claim the warranty from the manufacturer, which in first place should have never released these with that design fault. I wont close the Amazon claim because I don't trust SportShoes after speaking with them, and I don't think I will shop again with them after this experience, and the stupidity of them to get a negative feedback shows where they stand.

Use these for years with no problem until recently . Sent me a broken headtorch and never sorted the problem out . Had to file a complaint against them before they responded . Unfortunately for them i wont be purchasing anything from them again . Id recommend using another online retailer . You will receive a better shopping experience

The worst I've ever known, And I mean to both site and customer service. This site offers for sale plus shipping internationally varied brands. After search, research, check and recheck I've chosen a pair of sport shoes and placed the order. Several hours later I received an email saying that "due to manufacturing brand restrictions we cannot ship your order outside of European Union". Although there is neither a mention nor a hint about this restriction in the website and functionally it enables to place an order of the brand to a world wide address. In my reply I wrote that I think they have to perform my order this time due to a significant lack of information and functionality in their website and that I've spent a lot of time in search my pair of shoes in sportsshoes.com and really want to get them after this effort. Their reply: an excuse that their system shows the information, and in my case, my order was allowed to go through because I've selected GBP as a currency, and they really can't perform my order. My reply: I have a right to select any of the currency options and I usually do my online purchases in British Pounds and never had problems in other sites because of this habit. If they're prevented from dispatching my order, I want a compensation. Their Reply: complete disregard for my previous email content. I'm quoting: "I'd like to confirm I've canceled your order as per your request". MY REQUEST????? After sending a warning about publication in Trustpilot and similar, their answer was not less from "Thank you for your lovely feedback, and we look forward to seeing your comments on our Trust pilot".
