They have a great range, good prices and I have used them for 10 years. But they seriously lack in 2 areas, one of those is using Evri (Hermes) the second is customer care. I had issues in the past because returned shoes looked "walked in", if my kitchen counts then sure. But more recently going through the options to select evri pick up, because at least with pick up, evri always deliver and you have more cover, unlike when their courier pretend to deliver to home so they can add that to next days pay.... After purchasing, the address I chose for pick up was not there, instead another address miles away appeared, I made a webnote asking to change the address, to be told 7am it had shipped. Having worked in warehouses, one far bigger company than them in cycling, I told them this cant be the case, no courier will have picked up Sundays orders from late night, when no one would have been there until Monday morning, I also know from using SS that they do not ship until evening. Basically, all the packages get ready, get put into a trailer, that is then picked up late and taken to a hub. My shoes had not left the warehouse, I had an Evri email that confirmed it. So then they backtrack, tell me they changed my order, then I get a credit to my sportsshoe account, not a refund which you would expect after I reminded them of 14 days right to cancel. So I then had to call up and chase why over a week later I still did not have shoes. The only saving grace was the girl on the phone, although she kept getting the wrong account, was patient and polite. Kicker is the shoes dont fit that well, but I cant even be bothered to fight them again to return them because I know they will kick up a fuss I walked in them. Like no ones ever had a B grade line before. This has been the final straw for me, I will use another retailer and get off their mailing list

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience as a customer of SportShoes.com. As a loyal and long-standing customer, I have always held your company in high regard for its quality products and customer service. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with your customer service team has left me with a significantly diminished opinion of SportShoes.com. On 08/01/2023, I placed an order (Order Number: 16322549) for a pair of Nike ZoomX Vaporfly in the colour Green/blue from your website. After only an evidenced 140 miles of use the shoe upper had completely failed. Understandably, I contacted your customer service department immediately to request a return and replacement for the faulty pair of shoes. To my dismay, the interaction with your customer service representative was not only unhelpful but also deeply unsatisfactory. The representative I spoke with, whose name I believe was Megan and then Josh, was dismissive and outright rude. I was accused of being dishonest and was told that I had bought black and gold shoes, despite my insistence and photographic evidence showing otherwise. The company then refused to uphold Nike’s warranty and basically told me that I was being dishonest, and I must have bought the shoes from another store. I would like to emphasize that I have always been an honest and loyal customer of SportShoes.com, and I have never encountered such disrespectful treatment from any company's customer service department before. The experience left me feeling disheartened and mistreated. My primary concern is not only the incorrect product I received but also the appalling manner in which I was treated by your customer service representative. As a customer, I believe it is my right to expect courteous and respectful treatment, especially when attempting to resolve a legitimate issue such as this one. I trust that SportShoes.com values its customers and takes matters of customer satisfaction seriously. I hope that you will address this issue promptly and professionally to restore my confidence in your company.

Any company that has such disrespect for its customers to use Evri (Hermes) as its delivery partner does not deserve any business. You'll never have mine again

fighting to get my money back is getting silly. I sent my return and the refund confirmation arrived but weeks later I am still having to explain I do not have the money in my account. I now just get a generic response that the 'refund is closed our side' well...the refund is closed when I get the money back. save yourself time and shop else where

Terrible company, sent me out the wrong size shoes, return was agreed (with a different colour that wasn't as good) and they sent back the exact same wrong size shoes again. Got onto them and not even the hint of an apology, just send them back again. You would get better service from the average government department - absolutely flabbergasted that there wasn't even an apology for their errors.

I spent £190 on a new pair of running shoes. They broke after less than two months. I enquired about a refund and was told that in order to process any sort of refund they would need the shoes to be sent back for inspection. I was told this would take weeks to process (which, as a frequent runner, is less than ideal as I won't be able to train for weeks!). I then left a review of the shoe on the sportsshoes.com page, with a picture of the broken shoe and that I was disappointed that such an expensive shoe could break after such a short period of time, and was told the review didn't meet their standards so wasn't posted! The review was wholly acceptable in my view, they just didn't want to post it. I will never buy from sportsshoes again.

Terrible company. Delivered the wrong product and then dragged their heals with a refund. Despite specifying that I wanted a refund they tried to give me a credit note. Disgraceful.

I have ordered a pair of Jordans. I’m always suspicious when I haven’t received an email confirmation of my order as you do with every other on line company. They have taken £1 from my bank. Then £121 the cost of the shoes which I have NeVER received. This is absolute theft and the business should be shut down. Next step reporting to Ombudsmen I just wish I had read these reviews before ordering

The company or the carrier has lost my shoes. They can't decide weather it's Hermes or themselves. While they investigate I am without money and without shoes. Sportshoes.com don't make your problems in mine . Please give me the money back. You didn't give all the money back the last you made a mistake. Too fool me for giving you a second chance.

I received someone else's order today. It was in a ripped bag with my details on, but inside was a box with someone else's details and order. Hermes also did not leave the parcel in the identified safe place. Very poor. I have contacted Sportshoes.com and hope they will organise a speedy resolution.

A really terrible experience all round. I had had ok customer service and fast delivery before with the company so was disappointed to have such a poor experience this time. A timeline is outlined below: 27 Sep - ordered shoes with next day delivery 28 Sep - Hermes contacted to say there was an issue with the order and it would be on the move within 24 hours. If there was no update within a week contact the seller. 4 Oct - contacted sportsshoes customer support to flag the issue 5 Oct - received a reply saying they would look into it 7 Oct - hadn’t received any update so contacted sportsshoes again. Received a reply later that day apologising for the lack of update and saying they would escalate 12 Oct (over 2 weeks after the shoes were ordered) - was offered and accepted a replacement pair of shoes to be sent out as they had started the refund process with Hermes 13 Oct - contacted customer service again as I instantly received the same error from Hermes, and did not want to wait another full week to restart the same process, and requested a refund 15 Oct - received a reply apologising and confirming I would receive a refund within 2-5 working days 27 Oct - I sent an email to chase up as no refund had yet been received. Later that day I received a reply apologising for the delay and saying they would refund within 5 working days 29 Oct - refund received While I appreciate this was not entirely the fault of sportsshoes, it took over a month (for a product offered with next day delivery) and required me to chase up customer support multiple times. Customer support were friendly and apologetic throughout but overall it was a pretty poor experience.

tried to order pair of nike running spikes on this site, when I tried to pay with paypal on their site it told me there was a problem with paypal and to try later or pay by credit card, I have tried for several days now and I get the same instruction, I am very untrusting of sites that give you an option to pay with paypal and then say there is an error and you need to pay with credit card.

Becareful to be fooled by those clowns!!. I bought A pair of trainers ASICS TRAIL SCOUT 2 TRAIL RUNNING SHOES - AW21 on the 14th October 2021. The trainers are highly perfectly made REPLICA. THAT YOU CANNOT SPOT THE DIFFERENCE WHEN COMPARED WITH THE ORIGINAL ONE.... AVOID this website !!THIS IS A BIG INDICATION THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS and DISHONEST, OTHEREISE THEY SHOULD VERIFY THEIR STOCK QUALITY BEFORE SELL IT TO THE NATION. SHAME ON YOU !! ON TOP OF THAT THEY NEVER CONTACT YOU BACK..... BECAUSE SIMPLY THEY KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT. AVOID at all costs...

Avoid at all cost. Goods were apparently dispatched by Hermes but went missing in action!! Promised that a pair would be sent out by Royal Mail but this was an empty promise. A week later and still no delivery and every time you contact them you have to repeat yourself as they hold no notes it seems. They need to switch their courier company. DO NOT USE THIS COMANY.

I have LOST £174.99 - this is THEFT and no apology / investigation from sportshoes.com?! Orderd Nike Alphaflys in UK5.5, didn't fit so re-ordered in a UK 6 and used the sportshoes.com label to re-package them securely and send back via Hermes. Like many I am exremely busy and trusted this to send back quickly and get it sorted. The parcel is now 'LOST', Hermes drivers are THIEVES who see these sports labelled parcels with their pre-printed postage labels and steal the parcels. I spoke to sportsshoes.com on the phone and she said "well it does say on our website that Hermes only cover you up to £50 so thats not our fault" I have never had anything like this happen and I am shocked and disgusted that this DAYLIGHT ROBBERY can go ahead all completely legal. Nothing will bring my money or trainers back but hopefully this will warn others not to give their money to Sportsshoes.com or Hermes.

Good selection and price. Terrible customer service. I had been wearing the shoes for 20 days. The midsole in front of both shoes opened. and was almost a hole in the left shoe up on the wrist. I sent a complaint. They asked for pictures of damage, they got. They asked for more pictures they got more. Then more time passed. Did not get an answer. then i contacted them on Chat where I talked to "Sarah". she went over my case. so reason for return due to damage. she was gonna send me a return note by mail. Never received a return note. No explanation either. Had to contact them again on chat since they had stopped contacting me by email. Got to talk to a "Diane" she said they had no returned notes to Norway. She had to talk to the boss about what to do. Most likely I did not have to send back the shoes, those were her words. should only take some hours. REMEMBER ALL THIS I HAVE IN BLACK ON WHITE. Now a day later I got the answer that they could pay parts of the return for sending the shoes back. This is hair-raising customer service. From free return to not sending them back, to you have to pay for parts yourself. What? They make the rules as they go because they do not have a return system for Norway. Then say they did an error. they say they do not make up the rules as they go. But have spent 4 days figuring out what they can do, because they have not done this before. Had I been able to post a screenshot of her. you should see how terribly unacceptable this is !!

Do not buy sent 1st order in the wrong colour called up very rude man 2nd order sent wrong size and also used lable were cut off and stains on shorts when I called up spoke to a manager who question me who looked after my child whilst I work night did I leave them home alone!! Disgusting service and manner!!!!
