“I placed an order for 8 chairs that were reduced to £12.50 from about £80 they charged my credit card and after 2 weeks they had still not arrived.
When I asked them what happened to my order they said the line had been discontinued so the will not honour it.
I then went online and the exact item I ordered had been relisted with a different product code.

“Shocking customer services. Waited 2 weeks, no delivery date, phoned and was told supplier had computer glitch. It would be 1-2 weeks. “I am a typical busy business owner. Looked at various sites found a desk and a chair that suited and I was attracted by advert of next day delivery on their site. Ordered chosen desk and chair Thursday 6th October 17:58 - (looking now at my original order confirmation email which also confirmed availability was "Next Day"). As it was so late in the day expected delivery Monday unless I was very lucky. Come Monday as there no sign of a desk or a chair and had staff waiting on this I spoke to Sebastian at Worldstores who could not give a damn by his tone of voice about it all but did inform me that the desk I had ordered was not in stock and might not be for quite some time! He also had no idea about the chair delivery date either. He then passed me to sales to speak to someone to change the order to an alternative desk - after 17 minutes by now on hold etc and various menus I spoke with Tara - who was equally unhelpful. Eventually I managed to order an alternate desk through her which apparently is in stock ( still not received Friday 14th October 6pm btw). Then I after 29 minutes now on the phone had to speak to customer services to Chris - who at least sounded helpful and apologetic - said they would refund the difference to my card over the next few days - he also explained that an adver tfor next day does not mean next day - The Asa or Trading standards might have something else to say about that. Various emails later I still have no desk but lucky me have an apology email (only after I contacted them again today - Friday 14th now - saying " can see that your order was placed to be delivered for today, I am trying to get in contact with the supplier and the carrier to find out as to why it hasn't yet been delivered, as soon as I get a reply I will update you with more information but at rare occasions the items do get delayed by another day due to unforeseen circumstances, I will chase this up and inform you." So unless you really don't need things for a week or two DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY OR ITS AFFILATES - OFFICE SUPERMAKET, worldstores.zendesk.com wskiddicare.zendesk.com , achica.zendesk.com. Worldstores have not refunded the difference to date - so they have had £210 for nothing at present!”
“Order states delivery for 12/08/16, after several calls trying to chase up order to be told order is with night-freight, then today 17-08-16 to be advised that someone from support will contact me within 48 hrs as the order has not been dispatched from the manufacture as of today. Although the ladies I spoke to are very polite, they have no enthusiasm to resolve any issues, only to say "I totally understand and have asked someone from support to deal with my problem and will be contacted in 48 hrs". My own stupid fault I should have read reviews. I have cancelled my order now waiting to see if funds will be returned withing 5 working days as they stated?????. luckily via credit card therefore protected... “The experience I have had from this company is to put it politely shambolic, we ordered a wardrobe that stated "comes assembled" it arrived Wednesday 3rd august as a flat pack, after a lengthy time on the phone the company said someone would be in touch within 24 hours to arrange a contractor to assemble it, after 5 further lengthy calls I was told I would be contacted today Friday 5th august, worldstores promised next day delivery, what we got on Wednesday was a number of boxes, my daughter a young single mum still has no wardrobe to use, after the situation is resolved I will be taking this matter further, false advertising, poor service, as a company I will never deal with worldstores again.”
“The delivery did not arrive on Saturday (again)despite receiving notification on Friday at 17.10 it had been despatched. I was promised delivery on Saturday and told a call would be made 1 hr before delivery. Not only did the delivery not arrive but Worldstores did not even have the common decency to call to say there was problem.
My anger now is because Worldstores clearly operates based on dishonesty, lies and deceit. The website clearly states / indicates you have the product in stock , in your warehouse and they are available for next day delivery. This is a lie. I believe your website is operating under false representation and deceiving customers based on false promises.
My parents have now both stayed at home for 2 Saturdays ready to receive the promised delivery which did not arrive”
“This company goes from bad to worse. Ordered some garden chairs in mid-April 2016 advertised as 'available for immediate delivery' and paid the required amount. Then discovered the delivery schedule simply stated the date was pending.
Two weeks later contacted the company only to be told the items were "out of stock" with delivery guaranteed for the end of May.
Having heard nothing by early June contacted the company again to be told they were now in stock and I would be contacted re a convenient day for delivery. After a further fortnight contacted the company again only to be told that the chairs were not in stock and would not be until next year. Requested a refund and received an assurance that the outstanding amount would be credited "within 5-7 working days". Now, nearly three weeks later the refund has still not be received.
On the basis of my experience I would advise anyone thinking of buying from this company to look elsewhere”
“The lights were purchased online on the 23rd of May and Worldstores stated the delivery date would be the 31 of May and checking online this was confirmed in order tracking. On the 1st of June when the lights hadn't arrived I checked order tracking and no delivery date was now shown, I phoned 3 times each time on hold for in excess of 10 minutes before the system cut me off so went to their website and sent an order status enquiry.

So the shipping labels hadn't been printed!!! that's why the order hasn't been dispatched.
2 days later when there still wasn't a shipping date I contacted them again via their website to find out when the labels were going to be printed and got an automated reply stating that they would reply within 72 hours! I had paid using PayPal so opened a dispute and received a refund but never found out the real reason why the lights were never dispatched so will never use them again and would warn others to give careful consideration before placing an order with them.”
“Worldstores are pathetic incompetent liars. Avoid them like the plague.
I ordered a shed from their website on 18 April. On the website it said 1-2 weeks delivery. I had not heard anything about a delivery date and it was getting close to the two week point, so I sent them a message. They replied defensively saying it was not yet two weeks. I wrote back and said I needed the shed urgently and if it was not delivered by 4 May (2 weeks and 2 days after I ordered) I would escalate my complaint.
So they did deliver it on 4 May, but they did not include a door! When I complained, they asked for photographic evidence. So I sent them two photos of the doorless shed. I have e-mailed them several more times and got bland useless replies. It is now 11 May and I still have no door.
These people are useless -- do not waste your money on them.”

ordered bedding last year they took £420 from my card promised next day delivery, only to be told on the delivery day out of stock!!! 3 months before the next delivery was due in. waited 2 weeks for a refund.
Last Friday gave them the benefit of the doubt ordered a mattress next day delivery message received Monday night the mattress would be with me between 8am - 12 noon Tuesday morning,
took the day off work only to be told 9am the couriers dont have the mattress it was not available for them to collect.
its about time they spent there ( or our money ) on sortings things out instead of wasting money on stupid TV adverts”
“Very bad experience!
I have bought a mattress on 29th September that has to be delivered on 1st october (a "next day delivery" or "chosen date delivery").
I wasted all the day to wait for this mattress.
Next day the customer care (30 min at phone waiting for an answer) only told me that I would receive a phone call from the carrier the week later (the week later??? what about the "next day date delivery"???)...
I wrote them on the form in the website to have some help.
They answered me only 7 days later (during which the mattress has not arrived, and nobody has called me).
I answered to this email proposing for a new date on monday 12th october. The answer of this email was on 12th (?!?!?) proposing me another date: "Wednesday the 15th" (wednesday of that week was the 14th!!!! They are also unable to look at the calendar).
Then I answered that for me was ok to be delivered for "wednesday the 14th", but unfortunately the customer care person meaned "Thursday the 15th" on his email...
I finally proposed for another day, monday the 19th (because we can't stay at home again on the day they had proposed) trying to be gentle and pointing out that for a "next day delivery" people can usually organize it for the day after (that was 14th). In this final proposal I write them to be sure about the delivery, and I was reassured about that.
What do you think? That I had finally received the mattress on monday 19th?????

Conclusion:
More than 20 days for a "next day delivery" are an impossible thing to think about, for a web site that is deemed among the best e-commerce in the UK.
Be sure that I will never buy anything from WoldStore and its affiliates websites!!!!!”
“This company has not contact number for complaints you have to send emails. The bed I ordered was split, drilled holes in the wrong places, spindles at odd angles. They have arranged with the courier com XDP to pick it up four times, they just dont turn up. Then they had the cheek to ask me if I could dispose of it. Do not use this company or the courier company. I am still waiting for them to pick up the bed and to pay the money back into my account. Seems the longer they take to sort things out the longer they have your money. I would not even give them one star but its the only way to leave a revue.”
