They promised delivery on tow days and nothing. but the despatch managed to come and pick up the incorrect mattress. Which annoyed as they could of easily delivered the correct one at the same time. “Having paid for next day delivery on a bed and mattress I was unable to track the order and the bed finally arrived 3 days late having been tagged onto the drivers route. I didn't receive any text or email notifications. The packaging was damaged and it was signed for as received only. On opening the headboard was badly damaged. The mattress arrived the following day. Attempts to get through to customer services failed, how many people can sit for over 40 minutes on hold and emails take at least 72 hours for a response. Today I have waited in once more for a collection that never happened. This company has an impressive website and promises everything you want, sadly its empty promises followed by inconvenience and heart ache - I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone”

I have two bedside cabinet delivered both damaged, I've sent 5 emails and to date had no reply. I've spent about 4 hours on the phone on hold and not even spoken to anybody. Promise of a next day delivery, item not dispatched on the day of delivery, customer service lies that it has been dispatched, spent whole day in, called them back, item out of stock and will be delivered 3 days later... I received my wooden coffee table badly damaged and have been repeatedly emailing asking for either a replacement or refund but despite the 'message' stating they would get back to you within 72 hours I have had no response. MY PERSONAL ADVICE IS TO AVOID THIS DEALER ALTOGETHER.
I have had faulty good and missing goods for nearly a year to date, this has been reported on multiple occasions to the dealer. The tactic of Bedroomworld/Worldstores {Close Brothers] is to have a different representative every, yes every time, to respond to you, so you have to keep repeating writing the same problem, as I have had to do. My suspicion is they subcontract out customer services to people working from home hence why the new representative has no clue about your complaint and you have to repeat the complaint like a scratched record and you have to keep doing this until you give up, at least that is what Bedroomworld/Worldstores {Close Brothers] wants – they get your money and you are stuck with the faulty goods.
The services are despicable when it comes to faulty goods and missing part and dishonest promises in replacing the associated furniture - from my personal experience Worldstores should not be trusted to deliver and nothing but lies received from Customer Services. Shall be adding negatives reviews on review websites. I was informed in writing by Worldstores on 30 June 2017 that they would replace the two furniture items which still have issues, no replacement has been received and they have not responded to my mails.
My personal opinions of Worldstores is that they are:
- Devious,
- Untrustworthy,
- Misleading,
- Uncaring,
- Liars.

“Ordered a garden cabinet, received a text saying delivery would be the following day but it did not arrive. I could check on their website the status of delivery which said delayed. After a few days I contacted WorldStores who promptly replied and I received the item shortly after. Unfortunately, the item was severely damaged beyond use. I used the online complaints form, which was easy to find and navigate, to request a refund and return of the product. I am a very disappointed customer although I do give top marks to the Customer Service team who were friendly and replied quickly to resolve the issues of delivery, the items damage and a refund, which were operational problems. I would still buy from them again due to the quality of customer service.”
“My corner suite and 2 seater were to be delivered on the 25th July 2017. I emailed to say it was not here at 5.29pm only to be told that it wasnt even on the delivery van. The next day a woman called Kelly told me to cancel but at this time I had no suite and nothing at all to sit on,I still havent. “This company is terrible. Placed an order over 6weeks ago and nothing has been delivered. Having wasted plenty of time on the phone on numerous phone calls I was finally told that the orderwould be delivered today by UKMail and was given a tracking number. When it wasn't delivered I contacted UKMail who informed me that they had not received the packaged! I am now going to fight for a full refund. I only wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. I will be reporting the company to Trading Standards and Rogue Traders and I reccommend anyone else who has had a similar experience to do the same.”

“Ordered two wardrobes from Worldstores 1 large, 1 small, both delivered so damaged drivers could not unload, wasn;t allowed on back of lorry due to health and safety to take photos, drivers took photos and returned to wareshouse, contacted service delivery, 2nd delivery arranged, both wardrobes delivered so damaged driver again could not unload, photos taken and returned, 3rd delivery two wardrobes arrived in a usuable condtion but both small wardrobes, as family visiting for a few days accepted and could no longer go without, took two days off work for this. Contacted customer service who are completely ignoring fact wrong size wardrobes delivered, at this time 19 emails with supporting photo's emailed, for refund of difference between large wardrobes ordered and paid for and small ones delivered. They want photos of damaged wardrobes returned which their driver took, but I could not take photos as due to health and safety I was not allowed on the back of the lorry. Now in the hands of Furniture Ombudsman.
Unless you like throwing money away avoid this company at all costs.”

Bed delivered without hardware bag. Contacting them was difficult though they eventually agreed to send a new one, saying it would take 10 WORKING DAYS to arrive.
10 WORKING DAYS later and no hardware bag. They largely ignored my attempts to contact them until 5 days later when I left a TrustPilot review they picked up on. They promised to have the hardware bag with me in 48 hours. That has been and gone and still no hardware bag, or even proof of postage or tracking.

Even though Dunelm have taken over, the customer service and response you receive is absolutely disgraceful. My daughters day bed was 75% damaged when we put it up. Yes they would replace the bed of course, but this means having to take another day off work unpaid to be there to receive the new one, and the inconvenience of having to take it down when we have decorated the room before the bed arrived. And the response I am getting is that they will offer me a partial refund of £30, but if you accept this then warranty on the bed will be invalidated. I have seeked legal advise from Citizens Advice Bureau and this is being reported to Trading Standards. I will keep telling people how poor your company is until I receive the £60 refund I have requested, and what I am entitled too, due to The Consumer Rights Act 2015.”
