“I bought a TV online and opted to pay for next day delivery. I spoke to someone at a depo later that evening on the expected delivery day and was promised it would be with me the next day. 4 days later I'm still waiting and nobody has returned any calls or emails. I can accept that sometimes things happen and deliveries may be delayed, but I would never expect a company to simply ignore its customers. I'm self employed and live alone, I have lost out on two days work and pay because I was assured my TV would be delivered. XDP set themselves very poor standards and fail to achieve them. Never, ever again, appalling in the extreme, stay well away from these clowns.”

“Have waited in all day for a delivery. Tracking states that a card was put through the door at 14:19hrs yet at that time I was sat in the front room and had a perfect view of my front door and no-one approached my that door. Called Xdp and complained, delivery now Monday but no hint of an apology”

“What went wrong ? Well I probably chose to place my order with a company selling on line
who use the services of Xdp delivery.
Its very close to Christmas and I purchased a large adjustable professional basketball stand
, backboard and hoop from an on line selling company in Devonshire. This item cost £249.99
this would have been delivered free of charge as standard between 3 to 5 days.
But as I like to be more organised as regards to my own time in waiting for the delivery, I chose to include the service offered of "Express Delivery" to ensure a delivery of the large item between 1 to 2 days with the item being tracked. This service cost was £14.99
The order was placed and paid for on Friday 9th of December before lunch time cut off time.
Express delivery was for the purpose of freeing up my time and I expected to be able to receive the item on the Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning and be able to track the item on its way to me allowing us to be home to receive delivery.
Monday 12th December passed ! No delivery ! No communication from XDP.
Tracking page states : time 15 :33 at Collection location 533
Tuesday 13th December ! No delivery! No communication from XDP
tracking page states : No Changes or update
Wednesday 14th December No delivery ! No communication by phone
tracking page states: time 08:35 at delivery depot location 119
then updated states: delivery location 119 on route 64 ETA between 11:45 and 14:45 scheduled.
Time elapsed No delivery! no update! no phone call!
Time of 16;40 we sourced the Scottish depot 8 miles away and called them to check its progress.
No excuse or explanation give. but enquiry taken with a call back promised.
Time 17:25 we received call back to say we should have had delivery but driver was held up
but to expect delivery soon???? No time offered or estimated !!!!! How long is route 64?
Time 18:25 time to take son to Rugby training , called depot to instruct delivery to be made to our garage under the house with a signature from our neighbour on our behalf . Instruction taken and ok d by depot.
Time 18:35 tracking update carded message sent by e mail to me but not received even till now. location 120 marked exception ???
I wonder when or if I will receive it. I ve had enough time wasted and time off work to deal with this on line shopping! This is not the way to do business. This is not the company to make deliveries. I will be looking for a refund for the delivery cost on the broken promise on delivery service we paid for. MR Hawkins”
“A misunderstanding led to me not being home when a delivery was attempted, at which point I was contacted by the driver who, very aggressively, asked why I was not home when I said I would be. When I tried to arrange redelivery I was told I would have to collect from the depot, and when I asked for the driver's name he refused to give it.
When I contacted the depot I advised that I found the driver very rude. The woman who took my call told me that there was no wonder he was 'aggravated' when I wasn't at home when I should have been. She then said that she had sent the item back to the seller so that I would have to contact them to arrange redelivery.
I was then told that I had wasted their time and shouldn't have said I was going to be in when I wasn't. I tried to explain that there was a misunderstanding but after a few minutes of a very aggressive exchange I asked how I could make a complaint. At this point the woman hung up.
Absolutely shocking service. Avoid if at all possible.”

I'm trying to get my package over a week. Send them two emails, spoke to three different people from service. They cannot accept the fact that I'm working, and keep trying to deliver when I'm not at home.
Today I was assured that the courier will be at later hours. To my surprise I found notice on my doors that he was early. After contracting office, they said that he return to me after finishing with the other deliveries, about 5/6pm. Nobody came, called, nothing. Ridiculous. I'm going to cancel the order.”
“I ordered bunk beds said they were coming 13th December it came today the 12th which I was pleased with but to my horror my daughter in law is 7 months pregnant and when asked to help her take the bunk beds and the mattresses inside the courier said your not pregnant and went I carnt believe he let her do it on her own and it was rainning too I hope you repremand him you don't won't people like that working for you your service”

“This is week 7 of waiting for a delivery. The tracking says they will deliver at a certain time and they NEVER do! I am now awaiting the second despatch, as the first eventually became too damaged to deliver as it was passed around the depots and was sent back to the supplier, who now have to claim compensation. “Nobody here at an hour over the specified time, tried emailing and calling but no reply!! I have travelled 1.5hrs to be here to receive the delivery and took half a day off work!!! “Abysmal is a kind review, words cannot come to mind how awful this company is. Try calling the landline number and you get a recorded message saying that this is a busy period and no one can get back to you. The local depot is a email address. This place needs to be closed down and the staff burnt at the stake.”
