“Paid a substantial amount with a flooring company to have it delivered next day to then be told they couldn’t find item 2 and only delivered 1 item. Spent days trying to chase through the flooring company racking up phonecalls. 5 days later the tracking tells me it’s out for delivery for a slot and then someone falsely posted it was delivered at a time in the future lol. Appalling organisation it seems and they don’t turn up in the delivery slot. Zero customer service, no phoneline to ring and an online chat that takes hours in a queue. Useless company.”
“Disgraceful customer service. Failed to deliver my item twice. I somehow managed to get through to the Depot who were beyond rude, disgustingly rude actually. Never apologised. I am absolutely raging as I have taken time off work to wait for the delivery. They have had my parcel for 5 days now and I still don't have it.They are a hateful, useless and vile company. “Terrible. Waited one week for next day delivery. Received text today to say shipment will arrive 1458-1658. Cancelled work commitments to be home during this time. Not only did they not turn up, but no text or call or email to say there was a delay. The website is useless, no contact details, no live chat box, absolutely terrible. The parcel is a present for my daughter’s birthday this weekend and now that’s ruined.”
“Pretty bad experience, customer service is a joke. Had to google the local delivery depot myself and arrange for delivery to be made. All of the contact information on confirmation email is incorrect. All in all a very bad experience and would recommend steering well clear if at all possible. Its amazing that they have contracts with big hitters like wayfair and aldi. they need to up their game or it may all come crashing down. I intend to log formal complaints with wayfair as its the only way they will improve. Its a shame you cant specify who does the delivery before you order.”

Received update this morning with new 2 hour window for today.. waited in.. and nothing. Was number 33 in the que when I went on the online chat.. 2 hrs later and I was disconnected. Shocking to see so many negative reviews about this company yet looks like it has very large contracts from large companies like Aldi and Wayfair.”
“As with all the other reviews I waited in for a non existent delivery slot then it changed as the day went on. When my TV eventually arrived it was smashed to pieces. The TVs out of stock so now so have to wait for them to collect it back. Not looking forward to this at all and it’s really put me off ordering anything from Aldi’s online.”
“Absolute rubbish delivery company. Ordered item from Wayfair.co.uk with next day delivery. Eventually got it 19 days later. Communication with XDP is a joke. You will be very lucky to get a reply. When I did get a reply and arranged other delivery days they failed to deliver. Had to complain to Wayfair and then eventually got it. I can't believe XDP are still in business or why any company would use them.”
“Day 2 of failed deliveries and useless reassurances, 2 days just stuck at home, unable to go anywhere or get things done. Any time I've called (and it's at least a 20 minute wait when I do) they say they can't get hold of the driver and will call back. They don't. I've had verbal confirmation and an email confirmation that my parcel will definitely be delivered today. That it's definitely on the van. That the supervisor personally made sure it was loaded onto the van. It's now quarter past seven, 15 minutes past their delivery cut off so I'm guessing I'll need to do all this again tomorrow. The nonsense of phoning, waiting in, getting up and down at the sound of every passing vehicle and wondering if I'll ever get what I paid for.”

I recommend when placing online purchasing orders you check who will be delivering them. If its XDP find an alternative unless you would like to be messed around. XDP are NOT fit for purpose”
“Unfortunately our experience is the same as a lot of customers here. 2 out of 3 parcels were delivered for a bed! All we got was a chuckle that the rail must be in the depot, erm... clearly cannot build a bed without the main frame. Not to mention the driver got defensive when I mentioned that 3 were shown as dispatched. Well, someone has to collect and scan properly instead of rushing out for a 2 or 3 hour drive away from depot without a thought attached to their action. Ridiculous!”

“Ordered an item from Wayfair which should have been delivered in 4 parcels. Only 3 arrived. Rang xdp to ask where the 4th was to be told it had been delivered and I had signed for it. I was not even in when the 3 parcels were left in my garage. Xdp were not i interested in that, they said I had signed for 4 parcels. They practically called me a liar and told me to have a good day!!! That was the end of the conversation.
Following day - and hey - parcel found left on the van!!! Did they give me an apolgy = no chance! Another company then delivered it because they couldnt for another week. The new delivery man told me he wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. I have never encountered such unprofessional rude people. It has put me off ordering from wayfair as i do not want to deal with this shoddy armature company. Avoid at all costs.”

I ordered an item which was meant to be delivered by XDP. I had a phone call at 10am on a Monday to advise that they would be delivering between 11am and 1pm. I explained that I wasnt home so he said he would deliver the next morning, I further explained that I work and this wasnt convenient and gave a couple of options of when I would be home. His was very annoyed by this and said they only deliver in the mornings and he would have to see what he could do and then hung up on me!! I tried messaging the company with no response and then they changed my delivery status to being returned to sender. In the end I had to contact the company in which I purchased the product who advised me that the company actually deliver 8am till 8pm. They spoke to the depot manager who advised them that my product had been put on a returns crate!
The outcome is that they are unable to track my item down and I am unable to get a new one from the company as they have sold out. This delivery company is by far the worst I have ever come across and if they are linked to any businesses it would definitely put me off from purchasing from them.”

The online tracking system shows it has been sitting in their depot since early hours of this morning with no attempt to do anything with it. Guess the drivers were given the Friday before Bank Holiday off ;-(
Website says they have been trading since 1995, though reading all of the negative reviews online, I have no idea how they can possibly say they have "grown to be the largest privately owned parcel carrier in the UK, and have built a reputation for reliability and quality of service."
Why do companies continue to risk their brand reputation by partnering with XDP and being tarnished with such bad customer service.
