Its only money making after the warranty period. Very expensive and build stories to charge you. Had a bitter experience after warranty.

It is a shame that Cigna partners with this company. Service is bad, very unprofessional. They wanted me to send the custom fit hearing aids back and they would replace with an older model???? They stated the model they gave me were not on the Cigna covered list. However, I cannot get a list of covered hearing aids from Cigna or Amplifon. Now they are calling and harassing me and I called Cigna and Amplifon ahs not even filed a claim with Cigna. Cigna said that it was their mistake and they should not expect me to return the hearing aids. Stay away is the best advice I can give.

Filled in a suitability quiz to see if I should go look at the 'better' hearing aids than the one I got elsewhere. Was interested. Arrived and was initially impressed at the look of the place. My file was all messed up and the provider would not even turn my way when speaking to me (as if masks don't make hearing hard enough! Was told the hearing tester was not available today! Then told I was INeligible as my aids were too new and the only way to fix this was to 'lose' them! Was further told to even give a comparison, to even look at mine I would have to cut ties with my old provider which I am certainly not going to do. A shambles and unethical.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. Trying to replace hearing aids for my dad after he lost his. Made 3 appointments which were all cancelled by this office. My dad dealt with this office for years even before it became Amplifon. There was never a problem. Now there's every excuse in the book that they have to change his appointment, the last one was that they never had a hearing specialist. Thankfully the last time I booked an appointment, I also booked it with another company, knowing that my dad's appointment with Amplifon would be cancelled, and yes it was. My phone calls to them went unanswered, messages never were called back, the man at the 1-800 was polite and helped me finding out when my dads appointment was. With covid the door to this office was locked, which is all good. I knocked on the door and a lady came and opened it, I asked if she could look up my dads appointment, she asked if it looked like she was sitting behind a desk. WT... How about you close the door, go look and come back. I will never tell anyone to go here and with all the problems they have this may be another company closing it's doors to awful management. I could go on with this review but I don't think everyone needs to know the hell this company put my father and I through for many months. Do not make an appointment. I dealt with this company with email and telephone. Calls were never returned. Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Worst company ever for customer service and follow through . My Father lost his hearing and had a very bad fall. He was hospitalised but he suffered with delirium because of the fall . The specialists and doctors advised me without them it would get worse and so would his frustration and he would get angry and fearful due to Covid masks amd not being able to hear . This all happened . Watergardens store I put an urgent with them on the 12th November . Every time I called a different story and excuse . It’s in the mail , manufacture called said they had trouble making it without the other mould , manufacturer doesn’t have the Material and many more . I called head off more excuses . I escalated to Management nobody called me back. It is now the 2nd December my father just passed away . The stress of it all killed him and had a heart attack

I have spent over 5,400 with Amplifon in the last two and a have years, I lost one of my first Aids and they could not replace one, they wanted 3,400 for a new pair, Why couldn’t they replace one ?? So I bought a new pair, singing and dancing But they kept going wrong. At the moment I have not got my Aids back, so my hearing is awful. I bought a pair of Apple iPod Pro and pair them with my iPhone that is used has a Microphone they are Brilliant and cost 250 pounds. Another thing when you buy any hearing Aids make sure you tell your the Insurance company ! Other wise they are not covered. Regards Alan

Worst experience I've had with a company. Cigna contracts out to Amplifon which for most people is prob ok if you don't mind old technology. They DO NOT cover new tech nor are their reps trained very well. I wouldn't buy a phone from 2018 or 2016 so why would I be limited to old technology? I guess so Amplifon can save money. They blame Cigna, Cigna blames Amplifon. Amplifon will not send you a list of covered devices as it's secret. If you can avoid them I would!

My MIL asked me to advocate for her as her hearing aids didn't work correctly from day one. She had significant life ( husband put in dementia care, broke her foot, son passed away, physical therapy and the sale of their home and a move)experiences that kept her from being able to return her hearing aids for a refund within a 60 day period. Frankly, it was the last tjing on her mind with all this going on in her and her family's life. She got a run around with her audiologist and then Ampliphone ( a multi-billion dollar global company) refused to refund her money within 3 months of her purchase. It also took 1 month just to get an answer back from customer service to know how they wete going to handle this. They simply dug their feet in and refused to assess her situation. She just wants to start over, when her life settles a bit with a new audiologist and hearing aid. They don't stand behind their products and don't go out of their way to help their mostly elderly customers.

Highly unprofessional staff, I booked my appointment well in advance and waited more then 2 hours at amplifon clinic. The way staff communicating about the delay was really a shock to me.. Doctor are also not good. They are more interested and focus to sell the hearing devices.

They charged a dying man over £4,195 for a grossly over spec'd hearing aid - he has died now three months after interfacing with this dreadful company and even thou the hearing aid has not been used, they don't want it back (draw your own conclusions on that) and refuse to refund. Please think carefully before you use them.

The hearing aids are great, but one failed after 2 yrs 6 mths and the other after 2 yrs 10 mths and each time I was given a replacement with a very different battery cover colour from the other hearing aid. This is despite me sending a letter with the 2nd one saying "Please do not dispose of the battery cover - if the aid is replaced I do not want a black battery cover! When my right hearing aid was replaced I was told that battery covers of the colour of mine are no longer available so I would like the current one fitted if a new hearing aid is needed." Why can't Amplifon (a) read a letter sent by a customer with a failed hearing aid; (b) understand that supplying an odd hearing aid is unacceptable; and (c) understand that an item replaced under warranty should match the item it replaces when they are a pair?

It's a horrible company and is there only for minting money. They will try to sell you the most expensive hearing aid with all promises and once you get trapped then you will repent all your life or will be forced to buy a different brand.

I waited in the store for 45 mins past my appointment time. Not one one person communicated with me about what was happening and how long it would take. Eventually I walked out. I may have hearing difficulties but that does not mean I can’t communicate. I then made a direct complaint via email to amplifon expressing my concerns and not one person replied. Shocking service from wigmore street team and customer service team in amplifon. Would not reccomend a visit at all! I will spend my 5k in Pindrop Hearing instead. Service in 10x better.

I invested in digital hearing aids from Amplifon in Lincoln after sales disgraceful always having to have them sent back to be fixed at a cost to me. Michael Swift arrogant rude and disrespectful not in the slightest interested in deaf people I am now left with only one aid working and Mr Swift really does not care Would not reccomend Ampifon to anybody gezmccann@msn.com 07885 584 599

I was referred through Aetna to Amplifon to get some discount on hearing aids that I had already gotten from my ENT doctor. Well after applying and waiting for my ID card, I went back to the doctor's office only to find that the "discount" pricing offered was no less than the price I was already given by the doctor without using Amplifon. Some of the hearing aids were actually MORE than the prices I was quoted if I used the Amplifon.

My mother took her hearing aid into the Local Amplifon in Hanley, S-O-T for a yearly check. On examination, they tried to sell her another hearing aid when they said her existing one was faulty. When told that she could not afford another one, they said they could fix her existing one for £100. Reducing this to £50 when she protested. All they did was clean it, that was the fault.
