“Installation was cancelled twice - on the day of the appointment. First time because the fitter was ill and the second time because only one fitter turned up and, due to the size of the window, two were required. The third time only one of the fitters was an Anglian employee (warehouse manager) the other was a general builder/chippie, multi-skilled type.
To get access to the outside of the window scaffolding was required. This is hired in and because of the delays in getting started that scaffolding was outside in the drive for 6 weeks. After installation, I noticed three black marks etched in the glass on the inner surface. The representative told me they would send out an engineer to buff theses out. I then made the mistake of paying, because in spite of contacting Anglian 3 times, they have not sent anyone out to fix the marks. Also the fitters damaged my windowsill.On the plus side at least the windows fit, look OK and the room is a noticeably warmer. Lesson learned though - don’t pay until you are 100% happy.”
“Bought a number of door and windows earlier this year. Front door will not lock - cant phone as says leave request on line - completed online report and say they will get back in 5 days!! So in emergency situation there is no safety - astounding and appalling. This has finished us for this company - buyer beware”

“I spent £15K with this company in 2013 replacing windows and doors. Plus a further 6K in 2015 to replace Facias & Soffits. So much for the warranty (none existence). Wide cracks appeared inside wall above the bay window, builder said its to do with the PVC windows fitted incorrectly plus always moistures on the windows inside and out in the winter. Contacted Anglian and they are just not interested. Avoid this company as they are not loyal!!!”
“Waiting 8 months to have one plane of glass replaced in a conservatory roof. They requested payment up front before they would manufacture the glass, which I did provide. Still no sign of the new glass 8 months on. I am trying to get my money back now, but that is not happening either.
Do not use Anglian.”
“I would give zero star if possible. I use Anglian Home Improvement to replace our three windows last September. It cost me £5500 to replace three windows . Two of the windows bad condensation just after two weeks. I contacted customer service to take a look at it. They said that condensation is normal. And they refuse to send anyone come to check it. I will not use them anymore. Don’t waste your money.”

We expected a good service from Anglian windows

“Waiting since April for a front door to be installed. All paid for but still not fitted. The company have made three appointments to do the installation and have failed to show up every time. Each time I have been given lame excuses. Bad customer service and do not keep customers informed.”
“So many bad reviews, so many stressful cases. That's what this company brings you .we've got your deposit so we'll do whatever we like . It' starts with salesman lying , anything to get your order, then the fun really starts , did we say 12 weeks until fitting we really meant 12 months, oh you don’t like that tough .I maybe one of the luckier one's, never got my windows fitted just managed to get my contract cancelled. They have keeped my deposit however , I will never know what the outcome of fitting would of been like , but do consider myself fortunate to have avoided it . “Anglian Windows have provided a shocking service. Significant gap above door letting cold air through , poorly fitted door , screw driven through porch frame. Door not closing properly. Wrong door replacement. Staff criticising colleagues workmanship. Ongoing problems for over a year. The customer service is even worse and truly shocking! Faulty Towers from start to finish. Extremely poor moral compass starts from the Managing Director! Photographic evidence, chronology of events and company attitude are extremely damning. Communications ignored. Evidence reserved for further action. 0/10 for a disgraceful shambolic service. Surprised the company is still trading.”
“had 4 windows and back door done in April the windows had to be replaced as they were not secure HOW dare they put my family at risk! they have tried to rectify the extremely poor workmanship but are just making it worse please do not use these clowns i have had so much heart ache trying to get to talk to someone in authority but they just do not want to know still waiting for someone to contact me but no one cares. the only person who does want to talk is the guy who tried to rectify it but he is not touching my house again going through the complaints procedure is a waste of time no one answers your emails even though i emailed all the directors and CEO they just don't care AVOID at all costs”
“If I could give Anglian a zero or a minus I would. Service terrible, products sub-standard. Our new front door is being replaced (by another company) as it is not fit for purpose and is not yet 3 years old. It was broken when delivered and I have had to pay for 2 new locks to be fitted. If you ring the company they say it is not a priority. I have given up and am now getting Safe Style to fit a new door. Don't touch Anglian with a barge pole would be my advice!”

“I had new windows and a front door fitted in Dec 2021. From Jan 2022 the lock mechanism on the front door would not work, effectively trapping my family inside the house. It's now Oct 22 and 4 no show engineer appointments, 2 mis-placed parts excuses and countless daily phone calls to them and yet still no further along. I'm still having to climb out of the downstairs window to leave the house on occasions. Just appalling after sales. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.”
“Never, ever, ever work with this company. Totally useless. Especially if you are based in Bath as you will work with the most incompetent team in the country. We ordered windows, they arrived months later totally the wrong size, and then when we agreed with the company they'd replace them an order wasn't place for over 5 months. You will not reach a single human being who can help you on the phone. STAY WELL CLEAR. I cannot stress this enough.”
“I had a composite door fitted in 2017. By 2022 it was peeling. The website says their doors won't peel even after years of exposure to sun and rain. This is not the case. They only guarantee the colour fastness and lamination of the door for 5 years but the website does not say this, nor do their sales reps. Both only mention the 10 year guarantee. The other us hidden in the small print. Given the price of the door, it should last more than 5 years. Avoid thus company. Customer service is appalling and the product is not durable.”
“We needed a door replaced (still under warranty by Anglian). I reported the issue 3 years ago, finally got a response dec 2022. They keep sending the surveyors to measure the door since then , with no replacement yet as they don’t have qualified surveyors who can get the measurements right!!. The door has been measured 5 times (by different surveyors and they keep getting it wrong)!! They still cannot replace the door and haven’t managed to give a reason. The worst company and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one in the company knows what they are doing. Do not buy anything from them. They don’t know what they are doing as they can’t get basic measurements right! 5 times and it’s incorrect. I am a pensioner and cannot afford a new door in this climate . I have a tough winter ahead and this has just made it harder”
