Had 12 months prescription and paid for 12 months medication but told only allowed to issue 6 months and had to contact them in another 6 months for the further medication. Telephoned today to be told I am a week out of the time frame and they are not allowed to issue medication and will need new prescription from vet. They also said I will need to pay again for the 6 months!! They advised that the 6 months already paid for would not be reimbursed. Have used Animed for a number of years but never again.

I have never had a problem with this company. I do not order mediation for my dog but do order prescription diet. Delivery is usually on time, sometimes only taking 24hrs to deliver even though I chose free 2-4 days delivery. One order was badly damaged on arrival, phone customer service who were great and offered refund or replacement. I've used Animed direct for years and will continue to use them

Where are all my previous orders. I have no record of ever dealing with them. I could just click reorder until recently.

I ordered vetoryl for my dog jenks on a live subscription and express delivery and they took 10 days and left my dog with no medication when I rung to complain they hung up on me for being annoyed and haven't yet reimbursed me for having to buy my dogs meds over the counter at my vets, Anna the woman I spoke to was completely unsympathetic

Terrible customer experience. Poor communication and little respect for customer communication. My prescription took 9 days to be delivered.

Dreadful Company!!! I ordered life saving medication for my dog over 3 1/2 weeks ago having uploaded my prescription. When I checked back on the website a few days later, to see if it was being processed, it wasn't ! I called and spoke to a member of staff who assured me it was being dealt with. Several days later no order so called again and was told the order was with the pharmacy and I would receive it in a couple of days' I didn't. Now I have received an email from them today, cancelling my order and to try again next week!! I now have to buy the medication at twice the price from my vet as I have run out. Do not use this company, they are a complete shambles!

I ordered a prescription medication last week and my vet emailed the prescription as instructed. However, after 5 days I did not receive the medication. Their website has changed significantly since the last time I used them and at the time of writing (27th Jan 2025) they have removed all contact details from their website except for a postal address. I had to find their telephone number from another website in order to contact them. Upon contacting them the operator was polite and helpful, but they claimed that my prescription was not sent from my vets. I've cancelled my order and I'll be using a different service in future.

Used to be a great company to with deal, l've used them for a number of years but it seems to of really gone downhill recently. l made a telephone order for my dogs essential heart medication using a prescription that had already been authorised by their vet and used for previous medication so it should of been straight forward and not needed 2 days clearance like they tell you a new one does. 5 days after l check my account after not having any emails back regarding delivery only to see its not even been processed yet. After a phone call to see what's happening l was told that they've changed their system and their vet hasn't had the prescription (which has already been cleared for a previous order 6 weeks ago ) . So now they're telling me they don't know when l'll get my dogs meds so its back to my local vets to see if they have any in stock. They are risking an animal's health and wellbeen with this inept service so l think l'll be taking my business elsewhere now

Still waiting for delivery after 7 days - never had this problem before - always received emails advising off anticipated delivery - the new web site is not as user friendly as before - will be changing my supplier

3rd time now trying to get essential prescription for our dog. 1st time rejected due to date being the same as on previous prescription (even though it was a new prescription which our vet could have immediately confirmed by phone). 2nd time rejected because compared to the order, prescription specified the other of the two variations of the medicine (both chemically identical but one chewable, again vet could confirm equally suitable). Now waiting for 3rd time lucky but due to new system which doesn't transfer order history and no response to phone calls, we will definitely never use them again. Having worked in IT for many years I can confirm (1) things do go wrong (2) customers and their beloved creatures must come first (3) After a serious IT issue most companies go out of business within 6 months.

Note a great experience with this company. If you want regular on time prescriptions go elsewhere as you certainly will not get the service from these people. No answer when phone them, and replying to emails many many days later, very disappointing 😞😞

I placed my order. Had to email the prescription as their new website wouldn't let me upload. They took the money the same day. Sent several emails, with no response. Can't get through to speak to anyone on the phone. Today, 8 days later I just received an email saying the medication is out of stock, they will send it out when they get more in. Oh, and they ended the email with the statement "they hope they have managed to resolve everything to my satisfaction"

Items listed as in stock online, payment taken but I have received nothing from Animed. Emailed 3 times and no response. Phoned numerous times and could not get through. Managed to get a callback today and was told that they were having problems with the website and distribution ie item stating in stock on website but not in stock in warehouse. She said she would speak to the Product Manager and get back to me…….still waiting for an update. Wish I had read the feedback from other customers and not used this company in the first place, I won’t be using it ever again.

Absolutely disgusting service!! Will use animed again! I placed an order on Friday and paid for express delivery and it hasn't arrived. So I ring customer service on Tuesday.. yesterday..and asked where was my order.. The nice lady even checked with the warehouse and my order was in stock and would be sent out asap. Then today I receive an email to say that it is out of stock and have cancelled my order and refunded the money! Now I've run out..I ordered in plenty of time..and my 14yr old dog is in need of them for her liver! Disgusting! Anyone wanting to use this company..my advice..don't bother!!

Animed Direct no longer functions. I placed a prescription order 18 days ago, no progress. Money taken, no record of order on system. Impossible to get through by phone. No response to emails or Facebook. The company appears to have declined from good to impossible over the last few months. I shall be taking legal action to recover my money.

I am disgusted with this company. For the last year no problems but now I can’t get through on the phone at all to reorder my dogs medication. I get told the lines are very busy please call back later. You call back later still the same problem,what is going on. I always order on the phone as not that clued up on the iPad. I tried ordering on the iPad three times and each time get told I need to get a prescription from my vet. I already have a valid one yet I cannot seem to be able to order the medication that I’ve been ordering practically for the last year. Can anyone recommend another company please.

Do not use as useless!!!!!! I would give no stars at all if I could as I have had no end of problems. The vet sent the prescription three times and I sent it while on the phone so eventually agreed and ordered but then cancelled due to 'technical web problems' but Animed failed to let me know. This was over a month and Animed will not answer any calls as too busy.

I wouldn't even give 1 star to be fair and I would dodge this company. Awful to deal with and pass the blame to the client. I ordered and PAID for meds a month ago and I still haven't received them. I have received an email from Helena following my complaint which basically just blames me, all my fault apparently! Despite me contacting them several times to check all is fine with my prescription. The company is an absolute joke and isn't worth the tiny 10 percent off staff discount! Order elsewhere if you want to receive your products.

I placed an order for heart tablets for my frenchie who's 11 & uploaded a presentation from the vet this was 4/12/24.I received an email saying waiting vets approval.Waited a few days then sent another email asking if Everything had gone through as I was running low on medication that I was waiting on.Had an email saying the presentation was missing my phone number & email. Which my vet put right straight away.I reloaded it & thought my order would be sent out as an emergency as I was running low which they new!I have now been waiting 9 day's. Had to get extra tables from the vets while I wait otherwise my dog would now be dead!! My money went out 4/12/24 with fast delivery so I got it next day.but 12 day's later still nothing. No reply. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ring Ring Ring.Never answer!! This company is absolutely diabolical. I wouldn't even give it 1 star. Dodge this company like a bullet.
