“My dog suffers from severe allergies, and Apoquel has been a lifesaver in helping him live a nearly normal life. After submitting a prescription to Animed, and not receiving it I had to spend days chasing them via email and phone, only to be met with automated messages which then cut me off. Ten days later, with my dog having been without his medication for five days (thankfully I was able to then buy some tablets from my vet at great cost) and in significant distress, I finally received this email: 'Good morning, We have been asked by our dispensary manager to contact you as unfortunately a system error has meant that your order was not able to be processed. Unfortunately, your order has needed to be cancelled and refunded in full'
You can imagine the stress and horror I felt. Thankfully, I found a reliable company that processed the prescription and had the medication sent to me within three days.”
“Totally useless company . Ordered on fri 6th sep for tue delivery as I was going away . Phoned Indian call centre who then lied to me saying it was despatched. Tried to email them complaining so they took me off the account so I couldn’t see the tracking of my order. To date iv still not got my order. Requested a refund today but so far I’m being ignored by them

“These are totally useless. For the last several orders we always check the prescription is in place and every time a week after ordering we get a message saying the prescription is not in place apparently the vet has checked it. All I can say is the vets there must be useless. A phone call to customer service each time for them to say everything is in place and then send the order a week or two late. If you need your pet’s medication in a hurry don’t bother with these.”
“They don’t answer phones. They do t answer emails . Are they even a real company if you can’t get hold of them. ? They charged me extra for express delivery but informed via standard email to everyone everything is delayed. I am very concerned”

“Absolutely dire service. My dog needs heart medication. So it's vital that I get this in time. Two months running there have been delays which meant I had to buy some from my vet at great expense. Today I cancelled the order I placed 30/07. At no point was I told that one of the prescriptions had run out. So I waited, then I rang, to be told, there was no problem and it would be dispatched Monday. I ring again Tuesday to check, told that my order was not approved? They hadn't contacted me to tell me this. So now, in a panic I have to make a vets appointment to get repeat prescriptions and more meds as I've now run out. I cancelled the whole order today and got a refund. This happened the same last month and both prescriptions were valid. Do not use Animed. They haven't got a clue what they're doing. Every time you speak to someone they tell you something different 😡”

“I called on 1st July to check stock of Semintra 4mg, I was told it was in stock and ordered it on your website which said 3 - 4 working days to be approved.
No update after 4.5 days so I called today.
I was told there is a delay and it should be approved today.
I asked to confirm there is definitely stock and I was told stock would have been reserved for me. I asked that this could be checked and I received a call back to say stock was received the day before on 31st July but given to other orders and won’t be back until November.
I wanted to speak to the manager which they spoke to a supervisor and they refused to take over the call. Appalling.
The other place I was going to order this from now doesn’t have stock. Absolute shame on you for stringing me along for a week.

“Lack of care. They sell medication not candies therefore service should be efficient. Their waiting time so too long and you don’t get to find it out when you pay for order and only like 2 days after. Service that I paid express delivery is now 9 days and they won’t me to cancel it and reorder. Obviously you have to wait 10 days for refund and pay again for another order. I will not use their service again surely”

Initially, I made a mistake with the prescription because I had used up the allowance and got a new one to them within a day.
Staff told me on the phone the prescription had arrived and was good yet two days later I got an email saying I need another prescription!
I phoned up again and they said they’ve got the prescription and would rush it through and I had another email saying, we have the prescription but it will take a few days for the Vet to see it, meanwhile the dog is still waiting.
I will never use them again.”

For the last two years I have purchased a very expensive medication from them and my dog has just had to be put to sleep. The Next order was in transit and I quickly got in touch with them to ask them if they could take it back. They gave me a reply and refused giving the excuse veterinary regulations, blah blah blah.
I pointed out that it hadn’t even arrived yet and they started waffling on about storage conditions. I wrote to them and said I will never use your company again and did not receive a single syllable of a response.
Save yourself heartache and do not use this company because they do not care !”
“Ordered several times prescription meds service been good although have been let down once before for canninsulin delivery issues. Ordered last week to be told more delivery issues unable to fulfill order, they asked had I not been notified through email...No. Very unreliable, on their recommendation my order was resolved by Pet Drugs Online who I have dealt with before always been very good but goods cost more but for reliability and service I will stay with them.”
“This was my first order with Animed and it was just hassle from start to finish. They are difficult to contact, everything seems to take 48 hours to be actioned and they charge for express delivery which is misleading because their internal processes are anything but express.
It cost more to use your own Vet for prescriptions for sure, but it is a lot less hassle than dealing with Animed”

I recently placed an order with this company (order number #2007114290) for medication, which was critical for my dog post-surgery. I ordered it on Monday and paid for express delivery. According to their stated delivery timeline, I was supposed to receive it by Thursday. To ensure everything was in order, I called on Tuesday to confirm the vet check prescription, and I was reassured I would get the medication by Thursday.
However, on Wednesday evening, I received an email informing me of a delay from the pharmacy with no estimated delivery date. I called them again today, and the representative was very unhelpful,suggesting that I might receive the medication tomorrow, Monday, or even sometime next week.
If you value your pet's health and timely medication delivery, I'd recommend you think twice before using Animed Direct.”
“20% of tins of Hills Z/D Food Sensitivities Feline Wet 24 x 156 g were dented, two too badly to be used. Unfortunately I did not discover this until after the 7 day window allowed by Animed, could not provide photo evidence as my phone and camera too old (like me) and I had recycled the packaging. I offered to return the really badly damaged tins but Animed refused a refund. I can understand them wishing to avoid scammers but I am not one, so shall not be dealing with them again.”
