All arrived well and well packed. Packing could do better not having plastic (bubble wrap). Nothing outperforming in comparison to any other company what would jutify more than 3 stars.

paid for packaging to be taken away but delivery driver just left item and went. at least it was taken to the room of my choice.

The quick delivery and up to date information on what was happening was excellent , the only downside was the delivery driver didn’t want to bring it up the stairs as it was heavy and he was on his own , so if you do order a big item tell them if you have/ don’t have a lift …. I had to get my autistic son to help this stranger up the stairs . Anyway DPD drivers always have some issues and I guess the company can’t help that , but please make sure you advise the drivers that delivery is charged to the customer to have it delivered to the door .

Price good machine good unfortunately when I started to unwrap it I realised it was upside down and I had to get help to turn it over

There was a hiccup in that the original delivery date for my order was delayed by a week, although I was kept informed by Appliances Direct. The induction hob was very poorly packaged - the carton wasn't sealed and was torn and had partially come open. The DPD driver was great and waited patiently while I removed the hob and checked for damage. Fortunately it appeared to be ok.

When the ice maker arrived it was not functioning correctly. Contacting the company was not easy 30 minutes on hold. They arranged for collection but put the wrong address for collection so of course the driver was told nothing to collect. A wasted day waiting in. After more time on hold finally sorted. Item was collected and after two day a new one arrived which worked correctly. No issues at all with the product or the response in sorting a replacement in the end, just the process was frustrating. In future their online contact form proved much more efficient than phoning. The on hold music was awful, really really awful.

Customer service is good but delivery side not. Had to rebook due to illness, they failed to recycle packaging or take away the old appliance

I’m not one to leave a negative review but feel I need to for this company. Sent out a refurbished fridge freezer which I was under the assumption was a new item (same price as Argos and some other leading companies). Delivery day came I opened the packaging to find what I can only describe as a massive let down. I got straight on the phone to Appliances Direct to be told I needed to email pics. This was done but ignored. I had to send pics again then call a few times to be told that what I ordered was a grade 3 item. I’m not one to overlook anything due to coming from a retail background. This “grading” appeared as a SKU number when I checked back on the website. This is very deceiving. I was told that to return the item as faulty I would need to pay £40 for them to collect the item. I had no other option than to do this. So I’m still minus a fridge freezer and £40 down curtesy of the company. Very poor customer service to add to that.

Delivery was good and on time. But they were charging us for extended guarrentee which we did no ask for. The product had a two year warranty.

I ordered a double door stainless steel fridge/freezer. Exactly what I was looking for and at a reasonable price. Other sites had similar, but much more expensive. Delivery was super fast 👍🏼 Unfortunately the men from the delivery company were rude & unhelpful. They brought it to my door, I’d measured the fridge to make sure it would fit. But the packaging made it wider, so it wouldn’t fit. I asked if they could remove the packaging then? ‘No we can’t do that’ Okay can I remove it? ‘No’ he said. So it had to be put in my garage untill I got a friend to help me put it in my kitchen several weeks later! Great customer service from the delivery company! NOT!

Nothing wrong with the appliance or service from delivery drivers. However we paid for collection and recycling of our old fridge too. This wasnt fulfilled as a result of the wrong delivery team being sent. A polite and professional sort of 'it is what it is' was implied over the phone when calling customer services. We were given refund or wait another 2 weeks as options and not much in the way of an apology for their mistake.

I ordered a pair of AirPod Pro’s for my partners birthday, the price couldn’t be bettered anywhere and delivery was quick. In short I’d have given a 5 star rating BUT.... I intended to order a case to keep them in, so I was delighted to find a special offer of a free case at checkout. You might think this is a good thing, I’d agree, but having just open the packaging to wrap the gift the case wasn’t there. I’ll now need to buy one, a bit disappointing.

Really happy with our appliance - we bought an american style side by side fridge freezer. We were happy with the delivery time and communication. We were not aware it was a 'doorstep delivery' but understandable due to current restrictions however, they left our very large, very heavy appliance at the bottom of of our front doorsteps, and it was upside down, so we had some difficulty moving it from there! Other than that, recommended.

Poor communication re delivery. Emails kept telling me different dates for the same delivery. The delivery company(DX) eventually gave me the correct date, while the email from appliances direct told me it was to be delivered 2 days earlier, even up to the day when clearly it hadn’t arrived. Again poor communication with delivery workers, who were not prepared to remove our old cooker even though we had already paid for the recycling option and been assured by phone that they would collect the old cooker. Fortunately they agreed to take it away after some discussion. Very pleased with the cooker ,though, so in the end it was worth it.
