The worse company in history that ive ever dealt with, there customer service is a joke and thats being polite! Not once have they helped me with my issue and not once did they provide me with correct information. Over a month of calling them to resolve my issue and still not been resolved! Avoid this company. Giving them one star is being far to kind.

Autonet. The most unprofessional service I have ever used. I deeply regret moving to Autonet from my previous insurer. After paying them a deposit, they tripled my premium from the quoted price, due to a mistake on their part. When I disputed this price hike, I was told that my only option was to cancel then take insurance up with them again. Despite this hike being their mistake (someone had altered my policy from TP to Comp), I would be charged cancellation and admin fees - but would be charged even more if I left to go elsewhere. Within two weeks, Autonet demanded two deposits AND helped themselves to a payment from my bank account, in order for me to keep my car insured. The new policy (mysteriously) has the same policy number as the policy I was forced to cancel and between cancellation emails, demands for further information (which had already been provided) and more, I am left out of pocket and with no idea of whether I am in fact insured or not. A promised refund has not been received. In fact, Autonet have now informed me that they treatise yet more inexplicable payments! It is impossible for this to be the case. Autonet is at best, unprofessional and at worst, a scam. My money (if I had any to spare after this debacle!) would be on the latter.

this company is ok while they are taking your money, until something goes wrong. I owe them money but am on low income and I am paying them a minimum monthly payment when ever they ring me they get quite nasty and threatening on the phone, so today I told them that if they want to get in touch with me again they are not to ring me or email as I don't use email very often I want them to contact me by letter. the person I was talking to someone called rhian sneered down the phone we will contact you by phone its up to you if you answer or not. when I complained about the way they spoke to me before they did an internal enquiry, the result of which was there staff were correct in the way they spoke to me. I refuse to be treated this way but can understand how some other venerable people could be very intimidated by them. absolutely shocking behaviour. this company should be ashamed of themselves.

Shocking !! Not happy at all , salesman had terrible attitude and very ignorant , more or less told my wife and myself we were lying and yawned all through telephone dealings , my qote and monthly payments trebled in a matter of minutes ?? Seriously considering cancelling

Its a shame you cant respond to the replys on here I got stung with an extra charge of £50 becouse they didn't ask the right questions in the first place £35 of which is there admin fee. This is how they treat customers who have been with them for a number of years . I will never deal with this company again .

Very unhappy with the service received , Terrible communications, miss information and a total unwillingness to help in any way shape or form a supposedly cheaper provider has just cost me an extra £50 on top of the time taken chasing them up and waiting on the phone would not recommend at all .

When we have looked into your file, the additional £50 was in relation to a secondary occupation that was not initially included. The additional request for information came from the insurers. Very bad experience with incompetent staff over the phone being put on hold or transferred to different departments then having to give the same information over and over again £45 later !!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURER! THEY CHARGE YOU ADDITIONAL DESPITE YOU SUBMITTING NCB & INFO I have used the comparethemarket.com website and after getting the best deal I opt to chose Autonet despite their bad reviews on another site. I in honesty always input the correct details, including a non fault incident in Aug 2015. My previous insurer reduced my ncb to 3 year instead of 9+ as the claim under investigation and is not settled which the site does not give option to add further. After purchasing the insurance and submitting my ncd letter, I was not acknowledged but after month they issued my further payment of £186. I called their customers service who was unhelpful and added because it was not added the claim was 'settled' I am liable to pay extra. Excuse me the comparemarket website does not has further options or further option added on to input this. This is outrageous...surely Autonet you are aware of the comparemarket website quote layout questions. I have not hidden anything but provided answers to the online questions. i was advised i would need to pay this amount until my claim is settled. I requested for confirmation letter of this amount to be fully refunded once the claim settled by my insurer. Instead you have sent me invoice for the extra payment demand to me paid within 7 days. I am very annoyed indeed and feel the company using silly excuse to charge me extra. I have never come across such experience with insurers using information against you to gain. I and wished I did stay with previous insurer as your not getting the best quote at all but distress! Autonet Please see the quote made and correctly honour this otherwise I will complain to the ombudsman and to LV directly.

yet again one of you lot rang me with all of your insincerere customer service talk with absolutely no substance behind it. yet again you promised to both send out my docs and also email the TODAY to my preferred email address r.cookeheat2000@btconnect.com and YET AGAIN YOU DONT DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HERES HOW IT IS:- 1. If I don't receive my docs by email today to the email address above I will complain to the ombudsman and to LV directly 2. If I don't receive my docs through the post by tomorrow morning FRIDAY 13/11/15 I will take the above action. Don't bother with not enough time you've had since 29/10/15 and already broken two promises three if you count the original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. Upon renewal I would not go with you if you offered it for FREE!! I would not recommend you to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!! 4. If you are this pathetic at just email and posting docs heaven help us if your needed for a claim. ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

despite several promise I have STILL NOT received my docs. You now have 2 days to provide them after which I will complain to the ombudsman and to LV direct DISGRACEFUL INEPT PERFORMANCE

Having accepted my payment in full on line, they do not accept company car drivers as proof of no claims, and will attempt to find alternative offers which in my case were almost double the amount originally quoted, and having only had cover for two days have charged me £50 to cancel, and £25 for two days cover, when my quote was only £389 for 12 months and i did all the work on line!! Would strongly recommend not using Autonet Insurance, I easily found alternative brokers without these restrictions!!

AVOID AUTONET - DO NOT USE AUTONET - AUTONET CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL Autonet are one of the most horrendous insurance companies I have had to deal with throughout my time in the automotive industry. I was informed by the very helpful SALES person, that I would have my no claims bonus honoured when I received it. I had told them about a claim that was awaiting to be struck out, as it was a fraudulent claim against me. When dealing with their customer 'DON'T' care department, the story is a little different. They have attempted to block any attempt I have tried, to refund the difference in premium, as agreed in the first instance. Their customer care team are at best terse, but usually just rude. I have a motor trade policy with their insurer, it has cost me over £1500, of which I am due 25% back. DO NOT USE THEM. AWFUL SERVICE! AVOID AUTONET AVOID AUTONET

They should be in jail there a bunch of robbers charged £ 47:60 plus admin fee of £15.00 when said your having a laugh they said they would not chars the admin fee they say it's the insurers who charge don't give them the time of day Bunch of gits

I would advice NOT to use, after cancelling my insurance early on a technicallity they owed me money as i paid in full, verbally they said they will send me a cheque, after a week letters started to arrive saying after their charges I owed them money!!! After daily harassment by text, phone calls, threatening letters (all for £20.34) a eventually felt the pressure was to great and paid against my principle. A TRULY DESPICABLE COMPANY, SHAME ON YOU.

Customer service is shocking. I knew my policy was on an auto renew so I called Autonet 7 days before the policy expired to cancel the renewal. All was cancelled until a week later I get an email congratulating me on taking out my insurance policy with Autocrap!...I mean Autonet. No repose to emails.......calls cost a fortune...... and now I've just seen they've taken more money from my account.

Wanted to charge us £135 to transfer our insurance to another vehicle! When asked to cancel claimed it was £90 + £20 admin fee! So actually cheaper to cancel! Very poor service, in a way happy to pay to cancel!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL COMPANY. THERE ARE NOT, REPEAT NOT CAR INSURERS. THEY ARE ONLY AGENTS IF YOU CANCEL THEY TAKE NO NOTICE AND CHARGE YOU £75. HAD TO DO A BARCLAYCARD CHARGEBBACK TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THEY STILL HOUND YOU FOR 6 MONTHS AFTERWARDS. BE WARNED GO ELSEWHERE
