I purchased a Black Belt beer box on 06/10/2016 for a colleagues 40th birthday and was advised by email it would be sent in 3 working days. After having no further response from the company I emailed into them on the 12/10/2016 asking for tracking info as I had not received my order. They did email back on the same day saying that the box was damaged during transit and the beers had smashed. They also said they were getting replacements sent out and would send me a new tracking number. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was happy to wait for a replacement as these things do happen. It then came to the 21/10/2016 and again I had no communication from Beer Hawk as to where my replacement delivery was. I emailed again asking for an update or I would like a full refund. I never had a response from this email and had to call them to chase up a response. I spoke to a lady on the phone who advised they didn't have any replacement beers to complete the box and asked what I wanted to do. Why had no one got into contact with me when they knew about this? I had to wait an unacceptable amount of time and had to chase this myself to get an answer. The lady on the phone said she would call the warehouse to see if she can get a replacement box sent out. Thankfully, she did call me back and advised it would be sent out that day and would arrive in three working days. It never came in three working days. It arrived on 31/10/2016 soggy with smashed glass in the box and only one intact beer. I called them and told them it was arrived in this state and spoke to the same girl as I did before. When I explained what had happened, she wasn't apologetic or sympathetic to how long I had waited for this order and that I had missed the 40th birthday by weeks, She asked if I wanted beer tokens or a refund and I said the refund. I felt as though she couldn't wait to get off the phone. The packaging it comes in is laughable - the beer are placed into a brown box and that it is. No bubble wrap or anything to protect the glass. No wonder they smashed. I would never use this company again, it took weeks for my order to arrive, I had no communication from Beer Hawk I always had to chase them and I had no apology or gesture of good will, it felt as though they simply didn't care about their customers. Please save your money and do not use this company.

Beers are fantastic, web site very easy to use. Perfect Draft machines are a god send, could do with all the types of beers though, have to order from other sources????

I have been ordering from Beer Hawk since January evry month. I have had issues 4 to be exact but every time I have contacted them the customer service has been exemplary. This for me is one huge reason why I will continue to use Beer Hawk. Do not get the order line confused with customer services they are different people doing different jobs. The beer selection is wonderful and prices are very competitive. My orders have also been delivered promptly on the exact time and day promised. This says a great deal about the delivery partner also.

I ordered a mixed Oktoberfest case and 5 loose bottles. After hearing nothing for 6 days I emailed customer services. I received a reply stating that there had been problems due to a warehouse move. The reply assured me that "nothing can excuse poor service", that my "satisfaction goes beyond all else" and that my order would be despatched within 24 hours. 4 days later, having heard nothing, I chased again. I received a reply early the next day saying that my order would be delivered that day. Hurrah! The delivery arrived in what seemed a rather small box. It turned out that I had only received the 5 loose bottles - there was no sign of the 15 bottle case. I chased again and was informed that there had been high demand for the case concerned and they had had an "issue" fulfilling some of their orders. I was again reassured that "nothing can excuse poor service", and that my "satisfaction goes beyond all else" and was informed that I would be reimbursed for the unavailable case. I replied again asking how the company intended to compensate me for the appalling service. (By this point my frustration was starting to show.) Customer services contacted me again 2 days later offering beer tokens as an apology. To date they have not appeared on my account.

Really speedy delivery last time and was tempted by an offer to order again. Arrived Saturday morning which I hadn't ecpected so very happy indeed.

we did not receive our beer or after the event so it went back it took them 10 days to deliver by that time our 18th birthday present was ruined i had to spend more money to get out of supermarket because you had my money for 3 weeks in all so unhappy customer my first experience too regard ann spark

Ann, we let you down and this is not how we like to work. We are looking into what failed and will put processes in place to ensure the same does not happen again.

Really great selection on the website! I'm a big fan of American IPA and I ordered a huge variety and it arrived promptly on a Saturday morning.

Hi, Sorry you experienced an issue with our stock system. If a product is on the website, it is available in our warehouse unless there has been a stock miscount, Ordering a product that is out of stock should never be possible. Apologies this didn't seem to work properly in your experience. Louise

I have to be honest, my whole experience with Beer Hawk has been appalling. The only plus is that the beers themselves have actually been very good when they have finally arrived. My initial order was messed up, did not arrive and so missed my husbands' birthday - despite the fact that I chased it prior to the expected date of arrival. I bought a 3 month beer club membership. The next month came, still no beer. I had to then chase this up again and again and again. It eventually arrived over 3 weeks late.......to the wrong address..........without the promised compensatory beer tokens I had been assured would be in the box. I am now awaiting my 3rd & final delivery from them, which I am anticipating will not turn up and that i will need to chase. The whole service has just been absolutely shocking and once my final delivery arrives I will be so relieved that I never have to do business with Beer Hawk ever again.

Nightmare experience. Ordered beers on 07/10 and only received them on 29/10 after 3 broken promises of earlier delivery, even though the beers were in stock all the time. Communication from Beer Hawk was sporadic and I dealt with about 4 different staff. Communication from them then halted and the beers were only despatched after I opened a PayPal dispute. The beers received are great however, and they did give me a lot of extra beer tokens but I would much rather have had a hassle free experience. Apparently, they have had warehouse issues and I can see from their older reviews that they have given better service in the past so I will keep an eye on the reviews to see if they improve before I order from them again.

Excellent products at a great price, especially when the promo code for perfect draft machines knocked £50 off the price. Beer tokens reward program is great too. Please get a larger range of beers though for perfect draft machines

Poor customer service and communication, delivery was split into 2 separate deliveries and took over a week to arrive, tracking number provided was not valid. Order was missing items when it finally did arrive, looking over the reviews it seems this is a common problem. Probably the worst online ordering experience I've had. Wouldn't recommend.

I recently purchased a set of the 15 American beers as a gift. Beer Hawk sorted out issues with my delivery straight away, and the order came well packaged. I will certainly be ordering from these again. Thanks Beer Hawk!

Horrendous customer service, poor communication, extremely late delivery with items missing from the order and it appears customer service tell lies. In an email I was told "please accept our most sincere apologies, we have had a delay fulfilling some of our orders due to a warehouse move. It will be dispatched in the next 24hours". It still didn't arrive so I sent a second email and the reply I eventually received said, "the beer we sent out to you has been damaged in transit. This doesn't happen very often, but to make sure that a soggy box is not left on your doorstep, we instruct our couriers to return the damaged box to us, and we send out a replacement straight away." On the phone today when explaining about the missing item in our delivery, I was told all Amazon orders weren't put through until a couple of days ago. 3 different stories for one very late birthday present and no money off vouchers / freebies thrown in for the inconvenience. I will never be ordering from them again!
