Never ever make a mistake to order from benson they delivered a horrible faulty mattress for £719 and delivered during lockdown now they say they can not collect it and waiting fir govt guidlines And i should not waste my Time by calling them it’s extremely disgusting company with pathetic customer service

Absolutely shocking service ordered my beds 1 months ago.2 days until supposedly delivery date I spend most of my time on the phone trying to talk to someone as I get conflicting information from every customer service agent I speak to.I continuously tell them I have multiple sclerosis and cannot sleep on the floor for much longer. Cancel my beds ordered with another company and received within a week still waiting for my money back do not order from this company.

Awful customer service! Ordered a mattress online 24/5/20 and was told 7-28 days. Iv since been told it will be 67 days. I’ve emailed them 3 times and had no response and rang countless times to be told they are not dealing with an queries at the moment! I am expecting a baby any time now!

Same as everybody else. Lies followed by communication silence. Had my money, i haven't had a bloody thing from them, even an email. Shambolic and i don't have a bed.

Pretty much the same as all the other reviews posted on this site. Bed was due to be delivered in March - never came and no communication from company. So the round trip of 300 miles to the delivery address was a waste of time. I appreciate the difficult period everyone has had to endure so I waited patiently until Mid May. Countless phone calls and no answer, I have now sent 2 emails and no response to date. Money has been taken to the tune of £885 and nothing to show for it! Appalling customer service and non existent communication!

Appalling service from the start sold the wrong bed, and then had to wait 40 nights in agony, with some stupid policy they have, ordered new mattress, which they cancelled 4 days before delivery date, then no communication about what is happening, trying to speak or email them is impossible.

Ordered bed in March, still have no bed. I've tried to cancel my order however trying to speak to someone is impossible, I keep getting automated replies. Disgusting customer service. They took my money quick enough however giving it back is so difficult. I will never use this company again

I ordered my bed earlier this year, part of which has been delivered however, I am still awaiting delivery of my bed and wardrobe. I appreciated the updates via email and with lockdown expected delays to deliveries. I also had phone calls advising me of this. However during this time I have sold my house and am in the process of moving to a new address - I am currently at a temporary address until my new build property is finished. I emailed Bensons to advise of this and got an automatic reply saying they will acknowledge in 10 days. Which again is fine as it is unlikely I will be moved until the end of June. However, 2 days later I get an email stating the bed will be delivered to my old address on the 9th of June. I no longer live there so I called the number given to advise of this and every option it takes you to cuts you off saying they are not taking calls other than the new business line for new orders which has a 67 minute wait. I have had no reply to my email and of course the 9th of June is within 10 days so even if I email as everything is suggesting I won’t get a reply before it is delivered to my old address. I am at a loss as to what to do other than keep trying to call and stay on hold. Terrible customer service when I actually need it!

Disgusting service. Charging me 20% for a refund for a bed that didn’t fit up the stairs. Told it was my fault but I was told the bed would need assembling due to been an ottoman bed so paid £20 for assembly. At no time in store were the terms and conditions pointed out to me. Shame they aren’t printed on the receipt. Just another way of getting money out of you. Will never shop there again. And their drivers don’t wear ppe when coming into your house even though I was told they would.

I paid £1333 for a bed on 14 March. I appreciate that we have all had to share the burden of lockdown since then. However, on 13 May I received a text telling me my delivery would be on 26 May. No bed arrived. We waited in for a couple of days - you can't really leave a mattress on the doorstep! The phone helpline either has waits in excess of an hour, or accepts no calls at all. I sent an email and received an auto reply to tell me that they would aim to respond witin 10 days! Do not order from Bensons.

Their customer service it's shocking, all that speech about caring about their customers is a lie, this company is a bad joke. They promised us a refund and now they won't answer any of our messages. Of course we won't stop here...  We are so happy we haven't ordered a wardrobe too.  We wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from them. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I dont recommend you. I will never purchase anything from you again. I purchased an almost £800 mattress from you in May 2019. I quickly reported to you that I was not happy with my purchase and believed it was faulty. ITS TAKEN OVER A YEAR, over 30 emails, 24 phones calls to get you to finally do something about it. You agreed to an exchange in February 2020. I paid the admin fee and a delivery/collection was booked. 36 hours before delivery you cancelled. You promised you would call me when deliveries resumed but you did not. I called you and was given a new delivery date. I took the day off work to be in that day and guess what you never showed! No communication. Loss of wages. I’m sleeping on the floor. I have a slipped disk. I’m looking after 3 kids with hardly no sleep. I can’t take this anymore. Depression has set in. I’ve tried emailing & calling last 3 days but no response and can’t get through after ridiculously long wait times of over one hour. If I don’t get my delivery this week I want a full refund including the admin fee you made me pay.please advise how I can go about getting a refund.

Appalling customer service, sales executives that will just sell you what makes them the most commission while not giving a care in the world to your needs or wants. The customer service team are very deflecting and do not want to help at all in the matter

I bought two wardrobes one came with damage. The process to get a replacement was very stressful with poor customer service I gave up. The second wardrobe is not fit for purpose the sliding doors no longer slide .

Ordered a bed at the start of march, they did not deliver the bed on the agreed day at mid march. I was waiting for the bed to be delivered at the end of April still and did not receive it still so cancelled and asked for a refund. My order was cancelled. It has been over a month and have not received a refund still! I suggest going to the ombudsman with Benson's! Awful company with awful customer service. Their beds are mediocre but expensive for what they are. I would not recommend or ever buy with them again. I wish I paid attention to the reviews!

A severe lack of customer service has left a friend of mine out of pocket, and without a use able bed for his son. I hope the guy that made the choice to not look after the customer realises, a vad move, and a good reason why they should be shut down Not fit for purpose.

Been waiting too long for communication about a mid February ordered bed advised as a first week of April delivery. I can understand the delays, I can, but seeing the marketing machine being kicked in to action to drum up more business when clearly they have not yet serviced the business they already have commitments to stinks. I would avoid again in the future.
