Purchased a TCL tv from Best Buy. Within a week we had problems, called Best Buy they said “call manufacturer” it’s not their problem. They only sell the product and don’t care if you have issues. After dozens of calls to TCL the tv is still having problems. TCL also could care less. So frustrated.

I paid for Geek Squad total tech support. I brought my computer into them for simple updates. They ended up uninstalling software and left me with a “free” version of Microsoft Office. When I asked that they restore the software on my computer, they told me I had to pay Best Buy for the software.

I bought an extended warranty on a new appliance from Best Buy. I was assured that from "Day 1" the Geek Squad would service any problems. Instead, when there were problems, I was referred to the manufacturer, who will come out in about a month to take a first look. Best Buy claims to be helpless in getting out here themselves, or getting the manufacturer to respond more rapidly. I have had very different experiences from Home depot, Lowe's, and even Christies. I will not buy another appliance from Best Buu.

This place should just shut down because they don’t know how to run a business! They can’t answer the phone. They don’t have the product they are selling and the people on the floor standing around are just that. Standing around. Never ever ever going back there again.

Price match is good! Customer service after the sale is poor. I would rate the overall experience 2 stars. The convenience of being nearby used to be a draw, anymore shopping online is easier all the time. Either improve the customer service experience or be prepared for your Blockbuster moment..

Couldn't get logged into my account - tech support not helpful. Their IT Systems appear to be a complete disaster. Top management is running the company into the ground. CORIE S. BARRY should be fired and BODs replaced. The valid reviews of the company on valid review sites are terrible.

Best buy messed up on my delivery address and shipped my packages to a homeless shelter and told me I'd get a refund within 24 hours, so I phoned 24 hours later to a lady with screaming children in the background telling me that I will not be getting my refund and that it was my fault for the address and that I will get my refund in 14 days.

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICES BY BEST BUY: July 17th, Monday at 7:38 am, FGO Logistics, the delivery company, contacted me to let me know that the delivery truck had arrived at my building. The crew used the intercom, which rang my cell phone. Unfortunately, they had my old number on file, even though the manifest specified to call/use my new number. I was out walking my dog, but I explained that I would be there momentarily. I met with the delivery crew and they opened the back of the truck to show me the item. One of the guys said that they need to take measurements and went up to my apartment. He checked the old refrigerator by opening it and moving it out of the enclosure. I told him that I will empty it while they bring up the new refrigerator. He asked me to turn off the water and put my dog away. I also moved furniture out of the way right in front of the guy. Emptying the old fridge took 10 minutes. I then waited for 20 minutes and decided to go back downstairs. To my surprise, the truck was gone. I called Best Buy Customer Service right away and spoke to 3 agents (I was transferred 3 times) before finally the line got disconnected. I tried to use online chat to no avail. Finally, after 5 attempts, I was able to get information about the delivery company FGO Logistics. I tried calling FGO Logistics, but the customer service representative I spoke with was very rude and unhelpful. She told me that I needed to contact Best Buy because you are the ones responsible for the delivery. I was confused about why the delivery truck was gone without warning or explanation. Even if they thought that the old refrigerator was not prepared, they could have told me this and I would completely understand and accept my fault for not being ready. The guy I was dealing with barely exchanged any words with me ( I am guessing language barrier). However, I think, this delivery crew had no intention to complete the delivery, even after I was told to empty the old refrigerator, to shut down the water (I even moved the furniture and the delivery guys saw me doing it) Additionally, my last, 6th call, yesterday to Customer Service ended up with a promise that the delivery will be done by the Geek Squad on Wednesday at 315pm. No confirmation email or text message to confirm the scheduled delivery ever came. Today (Tuesday), July 18th, I called again to find out that there is no delivery scheduled for Wednesday and that the delivery is now scheduled to come on Saturday. In total disbelief and shock, I decided to go to the store and cancel the purchase altogether (which I did). Two days of the nightmare of dealing with such unprofessionalism and total disregard. I waited a whole week for the new refrigerator because the old one is not working properly, only to face the challenge and in the end, we had to cancel the purchase. This time we experienced the WORSE customer service and delivery services. In my opinion, FGO Logistics is the major problem and you need to replace this vendor with someone more responsible and reliable. Otherwise, you will continue losing customers.

Billed three times for a single product. They busted my credit card limit, make me encounter fees for it and dont want to refund the extra charges. Customer service is of no help. I do not suport fraudulent practices like this. I will never shop at Best Buy ever again.

I bought all my appliances via Best Buy in Santa Clara, California. They fooled me to take total take membership promising me $100 coupons after my purchase of > $6000 etc. Order numbers 1123158366189 & 1123151121795. Everytime I am calling customer services, they keep forwarding my calls to different personals and nobody has any record of previous discussions. Latest, they wrongly installed my washer dryer and left me a malfunctioning washer which I loaded with my clothes only to find out it was not working properly. Now I stuck with all my dirty clothes inside it and when I called customer services, they advised me to watch random you tube videos and reinstall the washer ( brand new) by myself or wait for two weeks more or pay them again for urgent appointment!! All these advises coming after they made me take their total take membership!!! Best Buy only gives their customers BEST Harassment once the Purchase is done, and paid. I had gone through much more pain than I could even describe in this small box of review. Do not ever BUY FROM BEST BUY...save yourself from these frauds.

After waiting in line for 25 minutes to get a new phone I was told that the 51 minutes remaining before they closed wasn't enough time to activate a phone. I offered to do the entire activation myself, or finish whatever was required, and was told that I would have to buy an Unlocked Phone (which was $250 more then the Verizon locked one) to do so. Pretty terrible customer service. I generally purchase at least a few phones a year from Best Buy but will have to take my business somewhere else, where they appreciate it.

I walked into Best Buy today, 04-03-‘23 the first thing they said to me was “DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?” Gee I asked where is Geek Squad? Again do you have an appt? They told me they no longer have a direct line. Everything is call center. I figured that out cause I called early to see if I could get curb side pick up for a computer. Again I needed an appointment. What happed to customer service. The store was empty too. When I walked in three guys just standing there. So I will NEVER walk inside a A BEST BUY STORE Ever!!!! I’m boycotting this store Forever. Plz boycott too.

Best Buy STOLE & LIED to us $200! Do NOT order from this HORRIBLE COMPANY! We never received the package. FedEx shows a photo of a house that isn't even OURS. We do not even live in a house! We called, explained the home in the photo is not ours, a quick google search can prove this. They stated after being on hold many times, and an hour later a refund would be made and a confirmation email would be sent within 24hrs. After 3 days and no email, we chatted to see an update to be immediately told no case was ever documented of our call. We were more less called liars by the chat rep, and told to file a police report?! Are you kidding me? So your motto is to lie to your customers saying you’re refunding them to get them to go away and hope they never notice? I’m sorry but that’s sickening. You stole from your customers, you lied to your customers, your chat rep was a rude, horrendous to us claiming no record, no note, nothing of our call was made. That’s beyond messed up business. You’ve wasted our time, our money, and stole from us. We will not be letting this drop and heard everywhere.

I placed an order for my sons birthday gifts. I received the first order through UPS, but not the second order from FedEx. I tried to live chat for days in a row, could never get ahold of anyone as the wait time kept increasing. I called and was on hold for 18min, total phone call was over 40 I believe. It was incredibly hard to communicate with their customer service, and was told a refund would be made. After I was on hold again, they claimed they had to submit a FedEx claim and it would take days to receive a response back. I was told I wouldn’t receive a refund nor replacement, let alone in time for my sons birthday. I do NOT have the funds to repurchase in time for his party, let alone pay double for the same items I did order. I blame Fedex, but I also blame Best Buy for not having its customers backs in this situation. I feel robbed, humiliated I wasted this much time for nothing to be resolved, I really don’t know how we are going to recover from this loss. Do NOT order from Best Buy. They don’t care about you after they have your money. It’s out of their hands.

Horrible experience with bestbuy and the geek squad. Slow or no service on my tv. Extended warranty worthless on a best buy tv. No updates on when they might actually work on it or where it even is.

Do not, DO not, DO NOT under any circumstances buy an appliance from "Best" Buy and expect it to be installed in a timely or professional fashion. I ordered a dishwasher and microwave from them on May 7--mainly because with the Total Tech annual subscription for $200, installation, delivery and haul-away was free. The earliest delivery and installation date available was May 30. I took it. On May 29, I was informed by text that my delivery and installation for the next day was cancelled. Okay. It was rescheduled for the next week--June 6. I took off work. The arrival window was between 10 am and 2 pm. At 10:30 am, I received a text indicating that the delivery and installation would need to be rescheduled. I was livid. I called Best Buy and finally got hold of a "customer service" agent. She informed me that the dishwasher was, actually, still on the way. But some worker at the store "forgot" to put the microwave on the truck. (As an aside--the installation guys that day said it happened to three other people on their route that day.) So, the delivery and installation was rescheduled for today, June 14. I took off work again. Window was 2-6 pm. A delivery truck pulled up promptly at 2 pm. Guy brought the boxed microwave up to my door and asked where he should put it. BEST BUY HAD NEGLECTED TO SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION!!!!!! I told him to take the microwave back to his truck, and to bring it back when it could be installed. Now, the good folk at Best Buy have told me that they will have to wait until tomorrow to call me back to reschedule delivery and installation. So, it will be at least three days I take off work because of their incompetence. What I thought would save me time has cost me much more time than necessary. (Although they have offered me a $75 gift card for my "inconvenience.") It was a decade since I bought anything from Best Buy and it will be at LEAST another decade before I attempt something like that a
