“My experience with their customer service including a supervisor got me nowhere. Much to long to explain but this was just over double charging, getting that corrected, they cancelled both orders they charged me for. Over 8 plus hours, got one reordered and delivered with the mounting hardware missing. Back to hold, more BS stories and can get me the hardware 2 months from now in order to use it. Cancelled the order and told them to pick it up. Still waiting. Will never buy anything from BestBuy. AVOID”

“It is LITERALLY impossible to get in touch with a customer service person in a store. How would I know? Because I just called customer service 6 times today. I called the specific store, got redirected to India. Explained to India my problem and they redirected me... back to India. I had a very specific question that required I speak to a person in the specific store I called and its impossible to get a hold of them.
I've been a loyal customer for years but this is just appalling service. Really makes me consider cancelling my store card and Total Tech Protection if this is how they treat their "valued" customers.”
“Bought extended warranty. Took a total of 3 hours to get a hold of the right place to send a tech (they have third parties which they make you contact them). Took 2 weeks for a tech to come out and when they came they said despite having geek squad cover we were not under warranty... I explained how can i have a warranty but not be covered. It has been now 2 hours on the hold and the managers is asking me to contact the equipment manufacturer because for the first year best buy is not responsible despite having the warranty with them... a total scam.”
“Does it really matter, its not like you give a damn. Ordered new 65 inch TV to be delivered. Best bugged the hell out of me to confirm and set things up. I did all this on 3 different occasions and when the delivery day came I received a call from best buy stateing the truck did not even show up at the store. Stated it was broke down on the highway so they scheduled me for 4 days later. well the confirmation for the delivery has started again. The day before scheduled delivery I get a call from the Geek squad stating that they wanted to schedule my delivery for 4 more days down the road. Best buy you are just another failing piece of garbage. You cannot deliver what you sale and that goes for you word. I would fire every one of you that is in the supervisory positions for not Supervising so that makes you the problem!!!!!”
“Wanted to give a shout of to the Panama City, FL store, and the sales associate Sadie. She helped me with upgrading my cellphone, and then another time in assisting me with a new iPad. She is very knowledgeable and was so very patient in answering all my questions and going over the workings of both of the items we purchased.
It's nice to have a kind and friendly sales associate these days.

“The installers for our appliances refused to install because they didn't think the appliances would fit in the space. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. After having them leave, we just installed them ourselves, and they fit perfectly. I will never get installation from best buy again.”

“Total Tech team members are idiots and don't know what they are talking about. The "protection" plan is a joke and they change each time what they will cover and what they won't. I just had a tech refuse my service call as a result of my total tech membership problems. They don't care and one person will tell you one things and then the other person tells you another thing - that is if you can get ahold of someone without waiting an hour plus on the phone. I was also disconnected several times (conveniently enough) and they don't take notes so I had to go through my issues over and over. DO NOT GET TOTAL TECH - they are worthless and mean! When I asked for a refund since they can no longer help me, while they said they would give me a partial refund, they stated that I would lose all my protection plans I have in place!!!! OMG talk about a rock and a hard place. So, I could not cancel....The throw obstacles at every corner, making things much more difficult, not efficient and a total waste of time. BUYER BEWARE _ CUSTOMER NO SERVICE!!!!!”

“Bought Appliance Bundle from BB. Technicians to install Dishwasher broke valve under sink and totally flooded 1/2 of my house with water running even through my front door. Over a week later & several run around phone calls before BB finally sent someone to install the dishwasher. BB did not have the common courtesy of rewarding me for multiple gallons of water from the broken valve or for 10 loads of Laundry to do towels & sheets that technicians used to help stop water from flooding my wood floors, Or the work involved in rearranging my furniture after the cleanup. I have a Back problem and had to deal with all of this for nothing. Customer Relations = 0.”
“I had to give 1 star to write this review. I made a purchase with a Best Buy credit card. I went in and paid the card off at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. I am getting late fees and bills with late fees on late fees. I went once again to my local store in Sherman, Texas, and talked to the manager that was on duty at 5 pm on July 19, 2022. I was told by him that he could not help me. It was Citibank and I would have to deal with Citibank. His only advise was that it would ruin my credit. It was a Best Buy card that I applied for at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. They ran the application. I put my Best Buy purchase on the card they gave me at the register. I came back in a few months later and paid the bill off in cash at the customer service area of my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. The bill was paid in full. I even had to complete 2 transactions at the customer service representatives request. They said it was $0.00. Then I get hit with a late fee. Then a late fee on the late fee eventhough a customer representative at the Best Buy store in Sherman, Texas took my cash and said it was paid off.
Below poor customer service and deceptive practice for their own representative to take a pay off and then the customer gets harassed for late fees and all the manager has to say is that Citibank will ruin my credit.”

“We needed to scrap two old laptops, but wanted to erase the hard drive, yet not knowing how. Made an appointment with the Geek Squad at Best Buy on Golf Rd in Schaumburg, IL, and we’re greeted by Brandon. (Maybe 7/12/22 ?)
He was super helpful, explained what we/he needed to do, and we were out of there in no time. Probably what I appreciated the most was Brandon didn’t give exhausted looks when I told him what I did and didn’t understand… which is not always the case. To be greeted with a smile these days is a rarity, yet Brandon was on point with courteous service.”
“I purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator for my new home. My oldest son was home to receive the delivery on a Monday; however, he is only 16 years old so they would not leave the product with a minor. I completely understand this and I'm sure I overlooked this requirement in the fine print (this is my fault). I reschedule the delivery for a week later (the following Monday) and Best Buy is a no-call no-show. I have to call them 8 times before I'm able to get through because their automated system continues to hang up on me, then when I get through to a person, she hung up on me (probably an accident) as I was providing her with my phone number to look up my account. Eventually I'm told, "we sold your fridge my mistake, but we're giving you a new one in the box". I said that's great, but I need a fridge more then I need the free upgrade. I told them I could go to a local store and pick-up a fridge for the cost of the new fridge they are providing me with rather then wait a week without a refrigerator. The cost of eating out during the 8 days it will take until delivery will cost much more then difference between the in the box fridge and the scratch and dent fridge. The small dent on the side was hidden by the cabinet anyway. I'm frustrated that they're not willing to workout a plan to get a fridge to me any sooner (even a lesser fridge then the new in the box one they are promising me). Basically they're asking me to trust that they won't have another mistake on their end and do the same thing again. They had no problem taking my money and selling the fridge I bought. What else could go wrong, right (sarcasm)? I won't shop here again. I'll go to Brandsmart and/or Home Depot for my appliances and media going forward.”
“Had a good in store experience buying a refrigerator last Monday was set for delivery today Friday. I opted for 7am to 1pm delivery time window. There instructions stated I would get a 30 minute call before coming to me. Got up early this morning picked up dry ice and regular ice to empty my old refrigerator which I paid them to take when I get my new one. Emptied the refrigerator completely packed in coolers I figured when they give me the 30 minute call I’ll empty the freezer. I waited till 12:30 before I inquired about my delivery I emailed first got no response so I called the number was informed it would be a 19min. wait opted to let them call me back. Eventually a gentleman whose English was very hard to understand Raphael called me put me on hold to check. He tells me it has to be rescheduled for next Thursday never does he tell me why it’s not coming today or more importantly apologize for not notifying me. He can care less he’s in Florida I’m in Southern California I would never had know if I hadn’t called them unacceptable.
I bought the Refrigerator that was on display not one that had to come from there warehouse. Ironically the store is 5 miles from my home. I was told after I complained to Raphael his supervisor Carlos
will call me to discuss never did. Needless to say not a happy Best Buy customer.”
“If you are looking for a washer, dryer, or kitchen appliances avoid best buy. I'm leaving this review so people don't make the same mistake I did. I decided to take advantage of a good deal on a dryer online. I made the purchase on June 26 or 28. According to best buy delivery would take place on July 2 I picked a time that would work for both my husband and I. July 1 rolls around they changed the time window without even consulting me I receive a message. Not that big of a deal because I will be home but my husband won't be so I'll just have him help me before his shift. Then July 2 comes they call me hours before saying something about the truck and tech (nothing is really clear I can't hardly understand the agent who is calling me) I'm obviously not thrilled the agent says sorry for the delay we will get it done July 6 ( okay fine I think I should add I've already been without a working dryer since June 26or 28) July 5th I look at the email to make sure I follow all steps for delivery for July 6 I noticed then that it says delivery is on July 6 but installation is July 7 I contacted them because I can't be there necessarily for both days plus my husband works third shift so it would probably disrupt him. I tell the agent on live chat please just move the delivery and installation on one day July 7 they tell me it's resolved I'm irritated slightly but happy it's resolved even have confirmation messages it's done. I wake up on July 6 to a message letting me know my delivery will be coming that very day. I'm frustrated I contact a live agent on chat I have to first fix the delivery address because even though it clearly was correct on my email for the order geek squad doesn't have my correct full address on the appointment links. Then I tell the agent yet again I need delivery and installation on July 7 because I can't have it spread out for two days ( at this point I also don't actually trust that they'd show up for installation) she sends me confirmation that it's resolved I take a screen shot and I received messages stating that. About an hour or even 30 mins later lol I get a message saying that I changed my appointment for delivery and installation to July 22 🙄. Best buy obviously changed everything yet again without consulting me at all. I immediately call best buy the agent gives me dumb rhetoric like I can tell your frustrated so on lol then says let me explain the tech can't come and they can't install it the 7th. To which I replied obviously that's a ridiculous explanation because it was scheduled for installation 7th for a long time there is no reason and couldn't be delivered and installed on the 7th. It had been scheduled to be delivered 6th and installed 7th so that's illogical. I also said things don't change that much in a small time span and I'm not waiting until July 22 🙄 ( to be honest I think they would have pulled the same junk on July 22 if I had). I'm currently waiting for a refund. The agent was also giving me rhetoric and almost felt like he was implying I wouldn't get a refund because the item had never been delivered. Which at that point I did get mad. I cancelled the order and if I have to I will talk to my credit card company if I don't see a full refund. Please save your time. I understand work shortages, but home Depot is more professional and does a better job than these clowns. It's obvious best buy doesn't value customers. I also have my suspicions that the reason my dryer wasn't delivered was partially because it was the weekend of July 4. This isn't how to treat customers.”

OK ,,,, so I’ll look it up another item and I order that,,,, two hours later they tell me that order is canceled , OK understandable. Finally order a third item and again three hours later that item is canceled because it’s out of stock. So basically why are the items on their website saying available ??????

“PHYSICAL THREATS FROM INSTALLER!! They breakdown and put you to the back of the list. Was scheduled to have delivered in 3 days. Driver calls and said he broke down. He, Zachary, gets mad because I am trying to understand what I’m supposed to do and who I’m supposed to call. Zachary then says, we’ll see when I get there! I said what do you mean? Zack said, you have an attitude we’ll see when I get there. I asked are you threatening me? Zacks response was, we’ll see when I get there. When I called about they were nice but now I have to wait 10 more days for my washer and dryer. Do not order anything from this store! They don’t care and have people working here that will clearly come and attack you while delivering. Don’t trust.”
