the wardrobes are fantastic we had fitted! but the reason for poor review was fitter who fitted wardrobes after 2 months the overhead wardrobe was coming away, and the after service was appalling. After finally getting the wardrobe repaired which I had to keep chasing, no-one has ever got back to us to this date after the repair to see if we are happy and if everything is ok. Wardrobes lovely cannot fault product. After care service - Appalling

Having finally got the opportunity to extend our house and invest in our first kitchen of our choice...entering the kitchen buying world was a little daunting to say the least....! We looked at all the usual sources, we had an option to go with another leading supplier but would have had togone through a building contractor to get it....so my wife and I thought we would give a Betta Living a go.... Ian the regional design manger came to visit us just after xmas 2015, and we both were fully prepared for the usual pressure selling...yes at the end of the day he is a salesman and selling and selling up is what they are paid to do..But we didn't get any of that, he was open and honest about the products and we ended up agreeing on a kitchen & a deal on appliances at a price we were happy to pay, he even extended in writing the cancelation period as we had been let down by a builder, which they extended further. After agreeing the deal, we were still a little unsure of the product and the quality, however because Next at home are near us we could go and road test the exact kitchen we were buying and felt a little more reassured about our purchase. In regards to the follow up survey (by a guy with over 30 year experience in the kitchen game) communications to and from BL, the actual delivery date and subsequent delivery absolutely no complaints there all were A1. We decided to go with an independent fitter, who again had loads of experience of fitting kitchens of all types of quality, he too was impressed with the quality, he wasn't too impressed with the amount of end panels though (as he under estimated the fitting time) as they all had to be cut to fit...but they al addedl to the great look and structural stability of the kitchen....I would rather a job be done properly than bodged and rushed! We now have a fantastic kitchen in our extension thanks to Betta Living.....remember you pay for what you get and a proper job should never be rushed...

Positives: Quick turnaround Pretty good quality Sorted out some problems very quickly Negatives: Sent wrong doors that weren't in brochure and didn't explain it properly Changed design, missing a couple of things out, but the price stayed the same despite repeated messages still haven't called back Overall - I wouldn't use again as left feeling a bit "robbed" and like they don't care

We called into the Betta Living store in Chester to look at fitted bedroom furniture, the lady assistant was very helpful and arranged a home visit. Julie called and was very experienced and provided some very useful information and ideas. We agreed the cost and we were then contacted by Dave the Surveyor who called out and checked the design and made a few changes, he was very pleasant , knowledgable and explained the process in detail. Mel the bedroom fitter called the evening before the installation with his time of arrival, he was punctual, polite, and it was a pleasure to have him in the house. His work was first class and his attention to detail was superb. He worked constantly for the two days, the bedroom furniture now looks fantastic. He was very tidy and cleaned up after himself. He is an asset to Betta Living. We wouldn't hesitate to use Betta Living in the future, the total experience was first class from start to finish. Many thanks Geoff Swindley

We had a study fitted by Betta Living. The whole experience was perfect from start to finish - the design was just what we wanted, the delivery arrived as promised and the 2 fitters were amazing. They worked really hard and did not finish until 10pm on the final day of fit. We are delighted and everyone who has seen the study has been really impressed

We spent £15k on a kitchen and the entire experience was abysmal, what was quoted as a 4 day fit lasted 3 weeks, all the order was incorrect and and after sales service is something to be desired. After fitting my kitchen I had a leak whilst on holiday from the washing machine they fitted and as result had to fight with the fitter, betta living and the PLinsurance group to get them to pay the cost of replacement. This is possibly the worst experience in my life with a business, we have had previous bedroom works with them and had no issues. As a result I have cancelled our bathroom order and lost deposit which is worth it, less hassle.

We spent £10k+ on a bathroom. All through fitting we had issues with the fitter, took way longer than quoted , and had several issues with the quality of work. He left our fit half done to go do a fit for tesco bathrooms. Shortly after fitting we had issues with faulty fittings which took writing a poor review on here for them to come and fix, not just a phone call! Two and a half years after fit water is coming through my kitchen ceiling in 2 places. I have been told by them today it's basically not their problem as is out of warranty! For the price we paid I expect the fit to last much longer. I will now have to pay a plumber to come and rip my bathroom to bits to find the leak as all my pipe work is all concealed. Do not touch this company they have disgraceful customer service and my experience with them from start to finish has been very poor!

The whole experience including design, survey, delivery and fitting was excellent. The Betta Living team continue to impress us and now with three bedrooms successfully completed by them, we are very happy with the company. A special mention should go to the two fitters, Ken and Tommy who worked 12 hour days to ensure our children had their bedrooms as soon as possible. They worked meticulously and blended into the family whilst they were with us. Ken and Tommy both cleaned up after themselves daily and consulted us as and when necessary to ensure we had the best possible finish to the new rooms. I can, wholeheartedly, recommend Betta Living.

On the whole this was a positive experience. The salesman was helpful and the surveyor was knowledgeable. I needed to change my initial plans and the changes were accommodated very well. The units were delivered on time. Then we had a little problem. The installer failed to turn up at the agreed time. There appeared to have been a miscommunication between the installer and head office over an over running job which had a knock on effect of postponing my job for 5 days. But, he turned up at the new time and he was very good. Worked hard and was very neat and tidy. Delighted with the end result. If there had not been the hiccup over the installation I would have given this company 5 stars.

Contract number b54882.We have just had our kitchen fitted this week and are very happy with the completed kitchen, our fitters "the two Andys"did a superb job,they always turned up promptly and cleaned up after they finished and made some finishing touches which enhanced the quality of the kitchen.Paul and Kathleen Paterson

2 years on from an en suite re-fit to include a wet room which was full of issues, phone calls and re-visits, we are now having to take up the tiled floor as the wet room water proof membrane wasn't fitted correctly. There was sealant around the edge of the wet room and not the membrane up the side of the walls as promised. This will cost around £500 to put right as water is now leaking into our kitchen. We spent £9500 with Betta Living and as you can imagine are extremely unhappy with the extra cost and disruption caused.

Had a kitchen fitted approx 2 yrs ago, pleased with products but kick board put on upside down, still waiting for someone to look at it!! After sales service very very poor .

We are very pleased with daughters fitted bedroom, and would recommend betta living. The designer and surveyor were helpful. Our contract no. B46774 was fitted by ray who was on time, polite, workmanship was brilliant, and left no mess behind when he had finished. FANTASTIC!!!

We had our bedroom fitted by Betta Living about 5 years ago and I have always felt bad that I had never left a review because we love our bedroom furniture. The quality is superb - however we didn't have lights fitted in the units etc that could have gone wrong. The fitter was very professional and did a great job (they measured several times to make sure that everything fitted in nicely). We ordered our bedroom before we had read any reviews and when we read some of the reviews we were worried. However, as I have said it is superior quality and I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I have now decided NOT to go with Betta living full stop! I filled out a form for a brochure declining a design visit as I don't like pushy sales people and am quite happy to do the bulk of the initial work myself. I said to the woman on the phone (who phoned me within 30 seconds of filling out the form) that I would look through the book myself and contact them IF I changed my mind about a visit. I have since received SEVERAL phone calls trying to get me to book a sales consultant visit. As soon as the brochure arrives it's going in the bin. I want nothing more to do with such a pushy company.

Had fitted wardrobes fitted yesterday service was excellent from the first visit through to installation. Would definatley recommend this company. Yes a little more expensive than previous quote but fantastic quality.

THIS COMPANY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS The worst service I have ever experienced! Bizarre as we decided we would pay the higher Betta Living price than other quotes we had because we unfortunately believed the "sales spiel" of better quality and superior service. We ordered our bedroom refits in November 2013 with a promise it would be complete by that Christmas. They had our money quickly but the job stll isn't finished in May 2015. I have lost count of how many templates have been measured, sent away, made the wrong way round, lost, made in the wrong colour etc. All this taking up our time and interfering with our weekends. Plus damage to our newly decorated walls from the repeated failed attempts It doesn't matter who you escalate to or even if you go personally into the shops to complain. I very much doubt if the job will get finished as a result of this feedback but if it warns off and saves one poor person from experiencing this diabolical service then it will be worth it Our order number is B35835 if anyone at this disgustingly unconcerned company can be bothered to contact me.

DO NOT GO WITH BETTA LIVING WARDROBES Wanted fitted wardrobe and guy came round to messure up, they were the only company that didnt leave there drawings. Wanted Sliding Mirrows, got his sample bag out and said you can have any trim so picked one. Their trade department called saying they could give me a better quote so another person came round and messasure up and said i could have that trim, took the deposit £600 and said someone else would come out to do a survey. He came out a week later and said i couldnt have that trim even though 2 preious people said i could. I ask for this manager to call me back, One of the regional sales managers (Simon 07539415943) said he would need to speak to a director and he promised to call me back that day or the next. He didnt so i chased him up and said all he can do is refund me which could take up to 10 days. I complained to Simon and said i was not happy with the service but had no response and just said i will refund the money. Like alot of other reviews on Betta living i have read they promise they can do something, take your money and then say they cant. Do not go with this company, they will mess you about

We have recently had a set of sliding wardrobes fitted by Betta Living on our upstairs landing, to replace an old set. At every step of the process Betta Living have been very easy to deal with, from the intitial enquiry to signing off the finished article. Upon the first visit, the surveyor was really helpful, with some cleaver ideas on how best to plan the internal space within the units. Through to Malcolm the fitter who upon arriving, got stuck in and worked non stop throughout the day, staying late to ensure the job was complete in 1 day. No mess and installed to a very high standard. Based on my personal experience I would highly recommend Betta Living to anyone. Simon Hughes
