Regarding Kitchen, order number B71136, Bettaliving Issues • Planning: Initial plan by the sales person and then two following surveyors were all incorrect, several measurements were wrong. I would not have bought the kitchen if I had seen the final plan before signing up. • Delivery: Worktops and plinths left in the communal parking area in the basement of the apartment block without me being told – left there for 5 weeks • Installation: First installer never showed up, second one could not carry out work as items were missing and measurements were wrong, third installer could not carry out work as measurements was wrong, fourth installer carried out most of the work; I am not happy with the result but know that is caused by the poor planning and quality of the goods as well as the installer. There is a 2 cm gap at the top, it looks like a few cupboards stuck to a wall rather than a fitted kitchen, all the doors opens the wrong way, cupboards are not aligned. The kitchen sink is not sealed in but water can just drip freely to the cupboards below. The sales woman and surveyor promised that the splash-back is would be prepared for tiling but is left with big holes and cracks. Installation was supposed to take 2 days, in the end it starts 25/04/16 and completes 05/05/16 and the final cupboard being put up 03/06/16, 60 days after promised completion. I was completely without a kitchen (no stove, washing machine or fridge) and unable to be in my living room as it was full of boxes for 35 days. • Quality of goods: the work-top is not as promised and is of very, very poor quality. Some of the panels are already peeling and the kitchen does not look built-in but rather as a few cupboards stuck to a wall. • Moneymatters: I get charged more than I should have been as per the original plan even though the results are so much worse than what I agreed to on the original plan. I need to chase and chase to get any explanation on where this increase comes from and no one can even advise who I need to talk to. I feel this is plain FRAUD. • Management / Customer Services: THERE WAS A COMPLETE LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES AND MANAGEMENT. Even after 5 weeks the installers were sent out without instructions (hence two left without starting any work). I had to chase constantly to make anything happen. I felt completely helpless and very, very badly treated. • As I have talked to at least 10 people at Bettaliving and they have all treated me just as bad and ignored my requests it is clear to me that it is the company’s policy to wear their customers down and avoid any responsibility.

Dear Betta Living You installed our new kitchen in Feb/March 2016. We were pleased with the products supplied, and with the skill and consideration of the men who fitted them. The design your designer drew up for us has proved to be practical, and it looks good too. So why only 3 stars? 1. After 3 months, we are still waiting for your electrician to inspect and approve the new wiring, even though we were told that he would be coming 'within a few days'. 2. We noticed that the top panel of a tall narrow pull-out unit was not the same as the top of all the other panels. We pointed this out to one of your fitters, and he arranged for a replacement to be sent, and said he would be back in touch with us to arrange a date for him to fit the replacement. The replacement panel was delivered promptly, but we are still waiting for someone to come and install it. 3. We found it confusing to have so many phone numbers for the different offices of your company, with the result that phoning one office often meant being referred to a different office on a different number. We would appreciate a speedy response to points 1 and 2 above. Please note that we have changed our ISP. Had two bedrooms fitted by Betta Living with Paul Owens and John Moorhouse as my fitters. Both lads were fantastic, hard working, tidy and friendly. They worked for 3 days including late into Saturday to get the job done and left the place spotless too. The workmanship and quality of the wardrobes is excellent. This is the third bedroom Betta Living have done for me and I am very happy with all of them. Job B75741.

B75171: Fitted bedroom furniture is high quality, and well fitted. We are very pleased with the final result. The fitters Ken and Tommy arrived when they said they would, they were hard working and conscientious, they worked 12 hour days. Their attention to detail was spot on and they tidied as they went along. I would recommend Betta Living to any customer thinking of having a new fitted bedroom. I would also highly recommend the fitters, who were professional and courteous at all times.

Job No: B75774: The fitted bedroom wardrobes are of great quality and the bedroom will look amzing once the decoration has been completed and a new floor laid but it was the two fitters that we were most impressed with. Anthony and Mike were very hard working, conscientious and very tidy indeed. They worked a 12 hour day including about an hour for a total clean up and even boxed all the left over wood etc for me to dispose of. I would totally recommend Betta Living for a fitted bedroom and certainly the above two fitters who are a credit to the company and themselves.

This is the first time we have purchased fitted wardrobes and Betta Living was recommended to us by a friend after we commented on their lovely wardrobes. We have recently moved house and decided that instead of the usual style from Argos etc, we would treat ourselves and have furniture that would last long term and especially as one of our bedrooms had an odd dog-leg shape in it where a conventional wardrobe would mean lots of wasted space. By having a fitted wardrobe it made the room look bigger and storage was maximised. We bought wardrobes for all three bedrooms in one go for our new home but had a staggered fitting so we could move our furniture and belongings about from room to room to accommodate the fitters over a couple of weeks. As it was an expensive purchase, I was worried whether I would like them, whether the fitters would do a good job and whether the room would get 'buried' in them. However I need not have worried. The quality of the wardrobes is superb and a few family members have made the comment 'you definitely get what you pay for'. You will not get any drawers which over time will end up with a sagging bottom only good quality runners and soft close latches. Which brings me to the fitters - I cannot recommend the fitters Ken and Tommy highly enough. Their workmanship is fantastic. They arrived early, worked late and left no mess. After our room was done the first week I was so pleased I couldn't wait for them to come back the following week. Even now I still go in the bedroom for no reason apart from to look at them! Thank you!

I would like to comment on Betta Living who I recently used for my fitted bedroom units and who where recommended to me by my Neice who used them previously for her fitted bedroom. A profressional company right accross the board in dealing with them from their fitters to customer service skills in bringing together the whole plans to the job completion. I am a very pleased and satisfied customer and personally very pleased with the fitters of Kian and Tommy. They were extremely professional, approachable and helpful with all manor of questions and advice given.

From the very first visit from Richard who came to help me decide and design my ideal bedroom to the survey who tweaked it and re measured to make sure nothing was going to go wrong to Darren who did the fitting, he never stopped, did a fantastic job so now the drawing on the paper is in my room looking fab. So a big thank you to everyone who took part also to sarah for her help when I rang regarding some draws that I had ordered separetly.I used the link she provided.

We were told by Lakeside showroom and sales rep who visited our home that your kitchen units are 100% MDF. To our horror when the fitters arrived and unpacked the units, we found they were all chip board. Betta are denying their misrepresentation of facts. We are not happy. We were also told you manufacture your own kitchens, also not true, why have we sourced another supplier that offers same units and worktop at a fraction of the price? Betta Living are liars. AVOID betta living. No morals or ethics.

Sorry to read this and feel that the comments are a little unfair as the designer for your area normally has a small cabinet as part of the initial consultation which shows how and what units are made of. Thank you for our beautiful new bedroom! Quality service from the beginning! Our designer was Nicole who made fantastic use of our space, and helped us Come to a happy decision on the finer details. Our surveyor was Adam Joyce who was professional and friendly and helped to finalise our vision. We then had our bedroom fitted by Mel Griffiths who was again, professional, efficient and friendly! We are extremely happy with the final product, and feel reassured with a 15 year guarantee! Thank you!

From Day 1, i had problems with organizing everything with Betta Living. I ordered some lights to go in display unit. they sent me twice but wrong ones. had to get my own ones to keep things going. I have had my kitchen done (phoenix range in plum and cream) in July last year and could not use till November 2015 due to my worktop (it was ordered elsewhere). In February 2016 within a period of using the kitchen for 3 months, kitchen doors are falling apart, side panels are chipped and i am worried how this kitchen is going to last for a guaranteed period of 15 years. I am ringing every week and no response. I have been dealing with two different Installation managers for organizing things getting straight but nothing happen so far. Even rang yesterday and i was promised to receive a call back within 24 hours. Betta Living recommended Caple and blanco appliances are even rubbish. Sink is not draining. Dish Washer does not dry pots. Cooker hood stops working. Gas hob does not ignite. Microvawe's light bulb stopped working, numbers are disappeared from the front panel. you name the problems and they are there. I was promised the fitter will come to fix the doors on 18th April, tried ringing him that day and he texted me back that he is away and he was not informed of visiting my place for fixing the cabinets doors. When the fitter come to do the kitchen, he spoiled couple of my kitchen floor tiles i had replaced the ones in the middle and had left the others as it is. I did not raise this issue to management in the past. The inspector has visited and given me report on 12th April and i rang back to Customer Services and i have been dealing with Alex, the installation manager and i was promised that he will come back to get everything fixed within a week. Since then i am ringing every week but nothing has happened till date. Things have become embarrassing for me calling over family and friends at my place with newly done kitchen doors falling apart and all that mentioned above. I have full paid up for this kitchen and now worried if they are not doing anything and my things are not resolved what are the options left with me. Today, i rang your office and spoke to Alex-Installation Manager and he told me he is looking into the matter of inspection report generated on 12th April (6 weeks now to the report) and will liaiase with factory for the outcome. The same thing he has told me 4 weeks back and i am waiting since then. You whole lot of people are not bothered and willing to resolve the issues. I had written to your managing director, technical and surveyor director and i wanted to hear from them the issues addressed and the quality of kitchen supplied to me. I am not convinced at all that this kitchen which is falling apart within 6 months is even going to last me few years rather acclaimed 15 years.

Betta living to me seem to take your money and then that's it they don't care and wouldn't know customer service if it hit them in the face.my kitchen fitters didn't actually turn up until two days after it was fitted and when they did they started work at 8:30am and left at 3pm not a days work to me and considering they were two days late I would of thought there would of been a bit more work done , my kitchen ended up finishing two days after the planned completion date. To this day three weeks after the completed date I am still waiting for them to come and adjust some doors and fit some items to the cupboards which they were short of on the day.What annoys me most is they know I had the issues early on and they haven't even had the courteousness to see whether I am happy with the completed job and if there are any issues. They have had a serious amount of money and don't care.i certainly won't be using or recommending them again

Order No: 73708. Warrington. I had 2 wardrobes fitted by Ken & Tommy. Great workmanship and professionalism. Always in time and left the place neat afterwards. Explained about aftercare once they had completed. Survey was done by Ross. He took time to correct little issues in the initial plan and listened to our suggestions. These people are true credit to this company. Had to try All my negotiation skills to get a good prize initially. Any little change which was suggested after agreed prize was charged (even though it would not cost anything more for bettaliving) due to which I had to keep with the original plan. So get everything correct in the first instance. I had to phone few times and the office was helpful, the service was good. Product looks good, craftsmanship excellent. Not yet time to comment on durability. But had very good reviews from my friends. Ask for these specific names and they won't let you down. Thanks Ken, Tommy and Ross.

As soon as I had paid the money to Betta Living they became disinterested. Initially the installer was not there to finish the work and it was difficult to get support to complete the work. Subsequently the dosh washer borrow twice in the first 3 weeks. Betta Living eventually agreed to let me replace it but would not call back and so far have taken 3 weeks ams I still don't have the money. I see no evidence that they take customer Service as important.

Order No 70 150 I usually read the reviews before approaching companies.Reviews about Bettaliving were not encouraging but a friend recommended and I went for word of mouth. Had problems from the very start, with the Surveyor who was extremely negative and made comments like this kitchen design is extremely challenging. I asked for a chimney hood when the Sales man discussed our requirements. Upon Surveyors visit, he made few changes and changed the design and failed to discuss the change to the design. Had to make several calls to get the installation date. When the Installers arrived, they found that the corner unit was not going to fit and left for the replacement unit to arrive. I took leave from work and the day was wasted. Contacted their installation Manager who never returned the call. Had to phone the fitter to find out when they were due back. The fitters were efficient and he did mention a week before installation about the size of the unit and they failed to act upon it. It took another day to finish the job and I had to rush back from a pre arranged function to sign the papers work. Found out that integrated cooker hood has been fitted instead of chimney hood.Upon contacting installation team I was told that due to ceiling height,they were unable to fit the chimney hood. This should have been discussed when the Surveyor came twice to finalise. Spoke to Andy Marsh who also promised to arrange collection of doors the fitters left behind and something I have paid for. This has not happened despite calling customer services few times. It seems that the fitter Tony Noble was more informative than the Salesman and Surveyor put together. Certainly not an easy Company to deal with. They need to be more transparent. Would not recommend this Company. People have also posted bad reviews on face book.

The professionalism and care to detail and the great personality of the men who fitted our bedroom b74450. They are not only a credit to betta living but to the trade. We would recommend these two guys every time to anyone.

CURLEY B73780. We are delighted with the wardrobes that Ken and Tommy fitted in our spare room. They did a brilliant job and the finish is perfect. Ken contacted me the day before they were due to come to make necessary arrangements. They turned up nice and early to allow me to get into work on time. They stayed late to get the job finished and took their time to get it all spot on. They were friendly and helpful and left no mess at all. We were not as happy with the initial sales woman as she failed to show us samples and mis-informed us about parts of the service. The surveyor gave us different information and we were concerned what the finished product would look like because of the different information we received. However, as soon as we met Ken and Tommy we were reassured that the wardrobes would be done to a good standard. I would recommend Betta Living to others, but would advise to ask more questions at the initial sales pitch.
