“After just 16 moths all fittings corroded and fell apart costing a huge repair bills. When we called customer services we were told we "must live in hard water area".... we asked if that were the case why were other 14 year old existing fittings elsewhere in the house ok ...the response was " we only have 12 month guarantee " !!! We have since had to replace 4 sink fittings , one set shower fittings and full bath fittings after just 18 months at a cost of £1103 with plumbers costs !!! Should be called " BODGER BATHROOMS "”

“I finally recieved my bathroom suite in July 2017. Parts were missing some sections of the shower cubicle were not what we had ordered this resulting in cancelling the plumber for a further six weeks until the correct one's arrived. Not good when there's four adults in the house without a complete bathroom!!
Since then I've had to replace three parts, two at my own expense as they were only covered for twelve months, so read the small print and I'm trying yet again to get through to customer services to arrange another replacement. Customer sevices phone line often has extreemly long waiting time so where possible use the chat line. Quality, I'd say the lower end of fare. I wont be using Better Bathrooms again.”
“As others on Reviews.co.uk have found, the customer service at Better Bathrooms is a shambles. Having ordered a cloakroom suite on 6th January and paid for delivery on 25th January, the delivery day arrived with no update on the order either via email/phone or the tracking/my account info on the Better Bathroom website. Trying to contact the company to discuss the order is only possible via phone (live chat is only available to discuss making an order, not after sales support) so I called them up.
25mins later my call was answered and after another lengthy hold period, I was told that the entire range I’d ordered had been discontinued, and wasn’t even available at the time I’d ordered it! I pointed out that all of the items I’d ordered had been showing as ‘in stock’ when the order was placed and it was explained to me that the website doesn’t represent stock levels accurately! I was offered the chance to order something else with a discount of 15% as ‘our new ranges are a lot more expensive’... or a refund. I asked for the refund which I was told would take 7-10 days to appear on my credit card account. Judging by other recent reviews, I imagine a further call will be needed in two weeks’ time when no sign of a refund has materialised.
One thing to note is that the customer service rep mentioned that the reason for this problem was a merger that happened around Christmas, with a subsequent decision being to cease stocking certain lines. No help knowing that after ordering but worth bearing in mind if you’re thinking of buying from them.
In short: avoid Better Bathrooms.”
“Avoid this company - Unless, of course, you like hanging on the phone for 30mins trying to get through, having your emails ignored and paying for bathrooms you don't receive, in which case, go right ahead.
I've had to instruct my Credit Card provider to use my Chargeback rights as refunds seem impossible to obtain.

“Very unhappy with this company. They misinformed us numerous time about delivery time. we ordered pices for a complete bathroom refurbishment in a hope that the goods will arrive in one go and quick as they promised. They delivered the promised items in seperate loads, missing parts etc. Horrible experience. Finally as I lost hope I cancelled the delivery of the missing last item and bought it in the pluimber shop nearby. ( no need to say cheaper )
I am now fighting for the refund. Of course there is no one I can talk to about this in the company.”
“Steer well clear of this company, there are far better companies on the net. They take your money knowing that they haven't got the goods, give you a delivery date with no intention or hope of delivering on that date. If I hadn't phoned them I would never have known they were out of stock and wouldn't be having any more stock. They never phone you back or answer Emails and you will have to chase them for your money back. A real shocker of a company who couldn't care less once they have your money.”
“I bought goods worth of £350, and they charged £704 over the telephone order on 24/12/2018. Today 22.01.2019, and I am still waiting for my refund of around £350 pounds. When I call they simply saying that it is with account department (final stage) and I will get paid in a week time and I made this call 3 time and I got 3 weeks extended without result.”
“They messed me about for 5 weeks, are very hard to get hold of 30-55mins in my experience. I waited 30mins for a reply on live chat. They couldn't help obviously. Lied to and deceived when you do get through, don't reply to emails
I have waited 47 days to receive a refund...still waiting. I threatened to seek legal advice which seemed to prompt them to do something. I've been told I should receive it within 5 days. I have no faith in this company at all.”

“I'll admit, I have had a few issues regarding delivery days/times & such however I wouldn't actually go as far as to say their customer service was "appalling", for starters the people on the phone aren't the drivers & don't really have any power over how the items arrive plus, they're stuck in an office all day being screamed at for issues that aren't their fault. Of course, I've worked in CS for a number of years & even though my overall experience wasn't the best, I know it will be rectified eventually & the people on the phone have enough to deal with without another irrate customer telling them everything is their fault, they can only do so much.”
“The first delivery was missing a toilet cistern. Which to be fair was replaced within a few days. However when we opened the undamaged box the cistern was cracked and scratched and didn't even match the toilet bowl either. I am still waiting for a resolution to this matter.”

“Purchased a bath and paid a premium for next day delivery. I received no confirmation from the delivery company on the day that the bath was supposed to arrive. After a phone call to customer services (20minute hold time) I was told the item was out of stock, despite it saying otherwise on their website. I would have had no way of knowing this if i did not call them. I requested a refund on the 3rd January, which I am yet to receive (it is now the 16th). Do not even go near this company, absolutely appalling.”

“I wish I had read all these reviews before I placed my order with them last November. OK I only spent a little over £900 but the bath had to go back as they had sent the wrong size which delayed the bathroom being fitted. The vanity unit had scratches all over the doors. They exchanged both these items after a week but only took the bath away and told me to dispose of the vanity unit myself!!! Then I had to exchange the shower (my fault) They would only agree to take the shower back once I had ordered a new one from them and paid for it. That was on the 14th of December. I am still waiting for a refund of over £100.I have called twice, but get no where!!! I will call again today and see what happens. Yes the show rooms are great but then it all goes down hill ( in my opinion). I would NEVER use this company EVER again.”

Do we need to say more, well ok bought new bathroom suite ( individual items so just bit dearer) but when you what to send back or exchange a item ,
you have to wait till credited with the item sent back then order new one and wait till it turns up.
That could be ages, then there's the point of the credit for your item WHO what's credit when you have bought your bathroom just refund please.”
“Avoid using this place if you want to receive your products on time. I ordered a wi-fi speaker on Boxing Day and was told it would be delivered within 3-4 days. On January 7th I called them to find out where it was and was staggered to learn that it wouldn't be delivered until February 4th. That's more than 8 weeks after I placed the order! They told me there had been a "delay at customs" and that the company had been "restructuring". I received no update and no apology.
Not the most expensive thing on the planet but the kids were looking forward to using it on New Year's Eve.
Total waste of time.”
