“Did not deliver on agreed date costing me money for time off work and plumber. Delivery team phone number never connects, customer service team uninterested and offer nothing for the inconvenience.
Sales team were good but once they have your money they don't care.

I placed my order in store and was charged £50 for next day delivery. This cost I was not told about when placing my order in store and was just added to my invoice. This cost was wrong anyway as the next delivery date was 5 days later not next day!!
I called to discuss this when I had cause to return a shower valve as it didn’t adjust enough to fit in the wall and through the tiles.
I received an appropriate refund for the incorrect delivery cost but even though I’d paid on a credit card I had to have a refund by cheque!! This arrived but in the wrong name as when ordering, the store put my name down wrong so it had to be re issued holding things up.
After 6 weeks of chasing the refund on the returned valve I received another cheque which was in the right name but they had deducted £7:95 from this as the collection fee which yet again I was not informed about. Apparently it was on the returns note!!!
I could have returned it for cheaper.

“We ordered UPVC Wall panelling, etc 4 days ago, paying extra for next day delivery, to be delivered yesterday (Tuesday.) I kept Emailing, then phoning and being kept on hold for 30 minutes, only to be told that their courier won't deliver to our area which is Kingsbridge Devon. We have now ordered from National Plastics.co.uk, who are very kindly delivering tomorrow. At a much better price too. I would not recommend
this company. I have sent Emails asking when they will be putting the money back on my account, but no answers up until the present time. !!”
“When I complained about Better Bathrooms not taking a damaged item back because it was past 7 days from date of delivery, I asked to speak to someone higher so the arrogant CS girl, Danielle said my boss will only tell you what I’ve said. She was right, Kerry didn’t give a toss either so I asked the CEO,s name, who I was told is GEORGE Adams but Kerry said he won’t help you either!!!! Sounds like the service is terrible from the top all the way down!,,

“I received a damaged basin but because I hadn’t opened the box to visually inspect it within 7 days of the delivery I was told by Danielle and Kerry on the customer service line that they would not take the item back!!!
Having just bought a house that needs completely renovating I had more things to think about than opening boxes of a bathroom suite to check if it was smashed!! I understand if months had passed but we’re talking 16 days from the date of delivery!
They then had the cheek to say they could sell me another one.
I would strongly advise people to shop around before using this company.”
“Bathe arrived with the wrong front and side panels, it took such a long time to contact customer service to sort out a replacement email entry delivery we bought the panels elsewhere. When they arrived to collect the panels they also brought another duplicate bath order. Could do with better administration”
“Very poor performance from Better bathrooms. Had all furniture ordered and supoosed to have it delivered on 23rd of May. When rung CS on 24th asking what happened to the delivery that supposed to happen a day before been told that one of the items vanity unit( pretty major pice of the bathroom) wont be in stock until 12 of June!! Absolutely dreadful experience. The whole idea for our new bathroom expirience was that once being on half term holiday the orks will be done. But no had to spend most of my time of chasing Better bathrooms for dates. Rung them on Tuesday last week and been advised by Lucy at CS center that stock is being transfered and they have managed to move dates foreard to the beggining of June and item will be delivered by Monday the 4th. She told us thst stock is being done on Thursday and with item being put on the system and transported to local depo ovsrthe weekend. So... rung them on Friday just to check what is happening with the missing vanity unit and have been told aother story that the main depo did not reply to CS with the answer of when the stock is being transfered. The chap at CS Michael has rang me back on Friday pm (1 of June) advising that unit is outof stock now and wont be in until 13 of June in their warehouse that means we wont get it until at least 14th almost over 3 weeks after the original delivery date!!
The most dreadful thing is that the salesman at Slough depot Gurjeet during the transaction told us that everything is in stock by 18th of May and will be delivered to us by 23rd due to us gping on holiday. Ja jas assured us thst if there will be any problems we shall ring him and he will get it sirt it for us.... so I have rung Sloufh office Friday and asked for him bu he was unavailable- ok a thought to myself will ring them Saturday and aks for any help. Rung Slough show room 3 times yesterday and gues what... he never called us back. Left messages with the staff asking for a call back as this is an urgent matter but clearly once they have got you money in a bank they DO NOT CARE!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPIRIENCE WILL NEVER US THEM AGAIN... this feed back will go all the way to CEO of better bathrooms”

“I spent over £1700 with better bathrooms in total and the flexi waste that came supplied with my 900x900 LED quadrant shower has a hairline split which was only evident after it was connected. I rang customer support only to be told “you had 7 days to report any defects”! After a phone call (useless) and several emails later a replacement was sent out, which was also faulty! I was assured a replacement was sent again (18th May) and yet I am still waiting. No response to emails either. Absolutely disgusting service. Stay away”
“Very impressed by the showroom in Leicester. Manager very chatty and pleasant. However, he promised to get back to me about a specific toilet but failed to do so, despite two phone calls and messages left for him. Eventually I phoned again only to find he was in the showroom but sent his response via an assistant. This, I considered very poor customer relations. I have decided that it would not be wise to entrust an order for a new bathroom to a firm where customer relations and reliability is so poor.”
“I wont even bother to score this absolutely abonibal company like many others only wish id read reviews before handing over my money .There so called customer service is useless robots on the end of a phone reading from instore policy no resolution even offered just same sentence repeatedly out of 12 months warranty .I bought a vanity unit with black glass sunken sink ive had for just over 3yrs when one night it exploded literally all over my bathroom and hallway .Spoke to customer service to be told was out of 12mths warranty obviously i was very upset and annoyed at attitude of this representative as tried to explain this should not have happened the glass should not have broke it should of just shattered and remained as one piece .She then implied it must have happened due to stress or impact it just doesnt explode on its own,might as well of called me a liar .I even offered to have the glass tested to see if it was faulty and asked would they then accept liability for faulty product answer was No out of 12mths warranty .Wasnt happy with outcome so my son contacted them to be told same thing he explained do yoy realize this could of killed someone are you not going to speak to manufacturers about it of course No out of 12mths warranty he managed after long conversation to be put through via email to technical team to look at damage on photos sent .10 days later rung again to be told case is clised theyve looked and nothing else will be done as out of 12mths warranty .My son said we'll go yo trading srandards onbudsman an reply was good luck with that .Absolutely astronomical company once youve spent your money they dont want to know and offer no customer service whatsoever no resolution no reply to emails disgraceful .”
“We bought 5 bathrooms and checked as much as possible on arrival at a building site We installed a few months later and discovered a chipped loo seat which was hidden underneath packaging Sadly better bathrooms refused an exchange as it was over their ridiculously short time limit, they obviously have no concept of how difficult it is to check every single component of 5 bathrooms in the middle of a building site! Pretty short sighted policy as we were happy with everything else and would have used them again for future bulk purchases on other developments”
“We paid (£3,000) for all bathroom equipment in store and the website insists all items were next day delivery. Went home and decided to ask for a delivery date by email as our plumber is already booked and we wanted to ensure everything would be on site ready to commence work. The "customer care" agent (what a joke) was extremely rude and would not verify a delivery date. She had the attitude that Better Bathrooms were doing me the favour by agreeing to sell the items to me. There is no evidence of "Quality" in their service, in fact that quality standard seems to be totally alien to them. We await a refund and our bank will serve notice on them if a refund has not been received within a 5 working day period.
In essence, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU ARE CERTAIN TO REGRET IT AND SHOULD BE PREVENTED, BY LAW, FROM TRADING.”
“Horrible experience with customer services as well as in-store. Placed over £10k order. Key things before you go ahead:
1. Once you have placed the order, you cant get refund even if you change your mind within 1 min. They simply do credit.
2. Once the order is placed, its impossible to arrange a delivery. They keep passing you on to different department.
3. They are very vague about the items they have in stock. Once you place the order, then you know some of the items are not available for another 3 to 5 weeks and you cant get refund.
Would go for other options - but never BetterBathrooms again.”
“Received a full bathroom order on 27th April 2018.found the Missing heated towel rack i the evening . Called customer service within 48hrs of delivery, very next day morning. Have called and written emails. Still no item. Their excuse..
1.delivery team confirms no items were left in the van at the end of the day (who also repeatedly told me I had 48hrs for missing and 7days for damaged items)
2. I have signed the delivery note.
So nothing else can be done by them and they are really sorry. This was from Melanie in customer service. The whole thing only took her a few minuites. No further I investigation. Didn't even sound confused as to what might have happened to my item.
As I didn't drive or own the van , it's clearly not my problem if nothing was left in the van.they should be asking the delivery drivers what happened not tell me this as an excuse. But no.
Nothing about the 48 hr time window at all despite asking them why is there a time limit if my signature ends it All! until the last email from them saying 48 hrs have lapsed now so cannot replace!
Absolutely frustrating.
Have decided to not let them get away with this fraud. Have spoken to Citizens Advice bureau and on their advice have written an official complaint as a first step. But will take any action necessary.
But this has caused us much stress with 3 small children +building work to top it all.
Do not be deceived by their beautiful showroom and smiling delivery men. Wish I read the reviews before.
These fraudsters should be reported. They take the customer money and simply say " sorry we can't help you. You can re-order if you like".”
