“Ordereed and paid for a large bath in December, nothing arrived on the anticipated delivery date. Every time I called there were 20+ in the queue. Eventually had no option but to hold on for 40 minutes to speak to an advisor. After a very long conversation it transpired the bath I ordered had been discontinued. Nearly three months later the repacement has never yet been in stock (but you can still order it, ive tried).; Have been ringing up weekly ever since with half hour queue each time to be promised it should be available in 7-10 days. After 2 hours on the phone today and still not being able to get any idea of a delivey date or suitable replacement, ive cancelled the order. To be fair, the advisors ive dealt with have tried their best, but sound like they are up against a brick wall. Having done a bit of research, it appears this company have a lot of managment and financial issues. Ive also been told they can only do refunds by cheque. Alarm bells now ringing, lets hope it turns up and doesnt bounce. I will update on that one shortly. Seems they put all the effort into selling and taking your money but dont have the infrastructure or supplychain to fulfill the orders. My experience has been beyond a joke, worst company ive dealt with in 30 years. Avoid like the plague.”
“Steer clear of this company. Ordered a combination unit, waited in on the day of delivery and it didn't come. Waited for 35 minutes at premium rate on the Phone to find out why it hadn't come, I was told it was out of stock and they hadn't got a clue when it would be in stock or if it would be in stock again, we had no communication from this company saying it was out of stock or they wouldn't be delivering. I cancelled the order and purchased the same unit from their competitors that came on time. We didn't receive acknowledgement of a refund and had to wait another 40 minutes (at premium rate) to get through and to be told they don't know anything about a refund. I can't put the company we purchased the same unit from but it was delivered on time at a similar price. We won't be using them again”

“I agree with everyone of these bad reviews. They have delivered the wrong item - I now have to submit my problem online - when I call (and wait 45 minutes to get through) they tell me it has to be dealt with online and it will take 2/3 days to look at it. In the meantime I have lost my builders. I have waited for 2 days so far. Also no call back from a manager I was told one would call me back in 6 hours (which is a joke in itself). The place is a complete and utter joke.”
“What went right ! Placed an order for tiles...they took my money then decided to tell us sometime later that they were discontinued. Took quite some time to get a refund. Also ordered the bolerro bath...when that eventually arrived it was damaged. That was start of Feb...couldn't get another until end of march so ordered a different bath this arrived damaged. Couldn't get us another within our time scale so we are awaiting another refunds on both orders. However for some reason customer services Natalie hull cannot seem to work out the amounts to be refunded. Its quite simple it's the amounts x 2 that better bathroom took from my account. You cannot get through by phone and they will not ring you. Don't think this company will be trading for much longer the service is shocking...apart from Nathan at the Manchester store. Shame he isn't customer services. This matter is still not resolved. We even returned the damaged bath back to store rather than wait for a collection. All our orders were placed in store not on line.”

Ordered bath,shower and panel states 3-5 working days to be delivered ,after speak to there awfully customer service team they informed me my goods were in stock however when I went to collect them there was a two week delay on my bath ,finally got a refund of this company after what feels like running a marathon ,all people I spoke to were so in helpfull and as for the showroom sales men they need to do a college course in customer service”
“Mike at Better Bathrooms York was fabulous when we went in to order our new bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble. Mike’s knowledge was good and the price was fantastic. “If I could give 0 stars I would. They failed to deliver the bathroom one the day specified when I ordered online. I had to spend between 1-2 hours on hold to them every time I needed to call which was a lot. As they missed the selected delivery date twice without informing me, things were missed off the order when delivered. Three of the items delivered were damaged (toilet, basin & bath). Avoid at all costs.”

I was informed that one of my products had actually been discontinued. I’ve asked for a refund and was told 7-14 days (I note this differs to someone else). I was also told I’d get an email confirming my refund. That email didn’t materialise! Who knows if I’ll get the refund. Terrible company and terrible service!”

“Possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Bought and paid for bathroom fittings on the understanding it was a 3 to 5 day delivery, which the salesman promised. Items never appeared and never any contact from them. Their customer service is truly appalling. Promises to return calls are never kept and when told vague delivery dates it all turns out to be complete fabrication. Have a book ready if you do call customer service because you will be left “on hold” for hours. Eventually found someone willing to tell the truth (perhaps he shouldn’t be working for them!) who advised the items would be at least a 7-8 week delivery, not 3 to 5 days. Cancelled order and then waited weeks for the refund to appear, which only happened by constantly pestering them. Furthermore the items would have been cheap Chinese inferior standard products anyway. Should have researched more carefully before buying. Lesson learnt. Went elsewhere, paid more for quality products. but at least we have them. You are strongly advised never to deal with this company as you will certainly regret doing so.”

“This is a froud company.
They are selling products which are not in their stock. I bought a shower tray, enclosure and toilet. On the day of the sale I was advised by the sales adviser Shey that I should receive a call within 7 days for delivery date.
I did not receive that call and when i called the customer service, I was told the profucts were not in stock and they would come back in stock In two months. I did not accept this and cancelled the order and demanded a refund to ve told ws this was a showroom sales the refund would only be authorised by the showroom manager.
I went to the showroom on the same day on A406 and spoke to assistant manager Martin who admitted that it was a company policy to advise the customers with a week delivery phonecall whether the products are in stock or not. I was astonished at how they missold rhe products.
It’s been a month now and I still have not received the refund. It took about a week for the manager to authorise it and I was told that I should be receiving a cheque within 7 to 14 working days, but no sign of the cheque yet.
If I don’t get the cheque by the end of the week I will be taking legal action..”

Finally got refund after 3 weeks by doing a chargeback on my card.
Just lookout the complaints on here and their Facebook page, its shocking.
