This review is for the benefit of Callum Spencer…. When you read comments suggesting sales advisors go above and beyond I can categorically confirm this gentleman climbed the proverbial mountain for us he is diligent, professional and most importantly understanding of all the sectors and emotions encountered with the complexity of finance and car purchase I will say without doubt the sale would not have happened without Callum’s endurance…. Effortlessly he maintained his composure and committed to answering every question I would highly recommend this individual for your sales

This is the scam of all scams. It’s incomprehensible the stress and financial impact buying a car from this company has had on my life. I don’t know what to do. My car is currently sitting in the garage for a month for a standard turbo change (this is after a year of countless other problems). The warranty finally respond with a rejection. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS.

Worst After Sale experience You can imagine: AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN. If you bought a car without any problems with it. Their sales team and service is good. But if you have issues with your car and you report it back to them as per their warranty for the sold cars. That's when problem starts. 5/1/2024 Bought a BMW 7 Series 6/1/2024 Reported few issues but two of them were main problems (Navigation won't work) and (Front Grills shutters were stuck open in freezing cold) 25/04/2024 --- Nothing has been repaired as yet They try to avoid paying for the repairs and delay it so much that customers end up paying themselves for the repairs. BMW Sytner Chigwell provide a quote for £2600 for the repairs. They refuse to pay and now trying to find a cheaper garage in the area to avoid the costs. See attached files with full details including the emails from them date wise. I WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO MAKE MONEY CLAIM AGAINST THEM FOR - CAR REPAIRS - DAMAGES FOR WASTING MY TIME - COURT AND OTHER LEGAL FEES

Found the specific car I wanted on their website. Put reserve on it. Went to Enfield branch to view after making appointment. Nothing was ready, took two hours to see car which was filthy, had 4 miles of petrol in it & they had run out of Jerry cans of fuel! Drove it, liked it, cleared finance, another hour of refusing every extra they pushed very hard on. Arranged to collect next day. Again, over an hour of paperwork & more hard sell on extras. Then told spare key was up in Staffordshire! There was actually no handbooks or paperwork with car. (But I could buy new books from Ford). Car finally arrived with mats removed, 3 miles of fuel in it & side badge missing which has been on yesterday. Fuming now! They took it away. This was now 3hrs. Then it came back & valeting dept had ordered new badge, mats lost & fuel up to 10 miles. Great. No idea how everything works as no manual for it. Taken over 6hrs to buy a car. Never again. Also booked it in with my local garage for a check over due to how bad their reviews are.

Normally I don't give bad reviews but this need to be said to make aware other customers. If I could, I would give no ⭐ I don't recommend this dealer and definitely not the warranty company. I bought a car in January and after 1 month the engine light came on. Since then, they are not capable to fix it. They make you waste your money and time only, saying to do a diagnosis but in the end they don't want to pay for supply and fit. All they want is to repair it at their own garages but their next available appointments are in 2month+. Disgusting customer service too. When you buy,all the staff is polite and friendly but after sales team is not helpful at all. They are selling cars which are not roadworthy and as described, according to Consumer rights act 2015. So dissatisfied and disappointed 👎🤬

Please please do not buy a car from these scammers. We bought a 70 plate corsa on 23rd March, on 28th March while driving 50ph on a dual carriageway, an engine fault light come on and the engine shut down, luckily we managed to pull on the grass verge. When we purchased the car we was told any issues and it would be covered under the ‘extended warranty’ we purchased along with a courtesy car while any work needed doing. So we took the car to the garage that big motoring world recommend .. 2 weeks later and they have decided they won’t fix it under warranty and we need to pay the £1810 to get it fixed and have also said they won’t supply a courtesy car. According to them a snapped timing belt and damaged oil pump is ‘wear and tear’ even though the garage that looked at the car said it would’ve been like that a while, so therefore we was sold an unroadworthy car. Ignore the ‘200 point checklist’ they supposedly do as that is clearly a lie. We are in the process of trying to return the car and reporting them to trading standards. I’m sure once they have the car back they’ll just sell it to someone else without telling them about the issues it has. We have spoke to so many people from the company who have been very unhelpful (apart from a lady called Rachel), most of them are rude and don’t actually care, they promise to call you back and then never do.

£13,000 RIP OFF by Big Motoring World!!!! If you are considering buying a car from Big Motoring World Group, think again. My 74 year old mother recently purchased a used 2017 Ford Mondeo 1.5 Eco boost from the Peterbourough branch. The experience started very poorly, where the salesman pressurised my mother into buying a £1200+ warranty that apparently covered tyre wear & other wear & tear items. After carefully checking the policy, it provided no such cover, & after being lied to by the salesman, & asking for a refund due to being totally misold the policy, eventually they refunded that portion of the money. However, after less than two months, the car has developed a major fault, losing coolant which has been inspected ( by Big Motoring Worlds request) at an independant garage. It has been confirmed as a cracked block, which subsequently turns out to be a common fault on the 1.5 ecoboost engine. Since then, Big Motoring World have been presented with the diagnosis. We have requested a rejection of the vehicle, but they have declined & asked to verify the fault themselves. The car at the moment is unroadworthy & unable to be driven. They are refusing to supply a courtesey or replacement car, and have given a date of May 7th 2024 to inspect the car themselves. This is totally unacceptable, & leaves my mother with no vehicle for 3 weeks at a minimum, with no doubt months of slippery wrangling afterwards. They are deliberately pushing the time frame to get it out of the warranty window! My mother is very distressed & stressed, has no transport, no resolution, Big Motoring World are impossible to contact & are refusing to answer any form of communication & have defrauded my mother of £13,000!! Please share this in the hope that someone at Big Motoring World sees this & has a concience. Big Motoring World are Fraudulent, Untrustworthy & Unresponsive.

Check the reviews on their aftersales centre before you purchase, that's all I'll say.

From start to finish the whole process was bad. I found the young salesmen had less knowledge than I regarding the cars I was interested in. When I asked for a test drive we found one of the tyres was completely flat. I returned the next day and had to wait for over an hour before I could have the test drive. I was told the tyre had had a puncture. The next day I decided to buy the vehicle and it took FOUR hours before I could drive away. Much of that time was devoted to selling me the warranty and going backwards and forwards to the manager in order to have a 'good' deal and for me to have 'piece of mind'. I understood that the handbook and service book were in the car. I later discovered they were not and it took 5 phone calls and messages left for a call back before I was told that there was no handbook and the service book would be sent on. Four days after I bought the car I found the same wheel was nearly flat. I asked if I should go to a particular garage for the repair, to which I had no reply. I had it repaired at a local garage and asked if it had been repaired before. There was no repair. I asked Big Motoring world if they had replaced it or repaired it and they told me it had been rectified. It was obvious that they had just blown it up. It was a small puncture. They tried to get out of it with emails backwards and forwards for three weeks. Eventually I phoned Citizen's Advice and they were going to pass it on to Trading Standards and advised me to ask if they were members of an ADR scheme. I then got the full refund.... Happily I was within the two weeks and could cancel the expensive and probably bad warranty. I will never to to Big Motoring World to buy a car again and advice everybody else not to. I could go in to more detail regarding the bad service but do not wish to bore everyone! Also I find the glowing reviews on Trust pilot very hard to believe

I bought my car in December the had a small noise when you turn the steering wheel on the full lock their mechanic checked and came back and said it was fine so to be sure I bought a warranties2000 with them and in January I tried to book my car and they said the earliest available they can get is in 7 weeks time so I booked and 1 week before the cancelled the appointment so after I complained they said we will direct you to the the warranty company which I went ahead and I got told is wear and tear how can you call a wear and tear when you tried to sort the car soon as I bought. I would never use big motoring world again and the also said you can book the car at your nearest garage which would of been Wimbledon but they said sorry we don’t taking booking in Wimbledon anymore if you think I’ve made the story up I’ve got all their emails and complaints I made but got me nowhere Eduart

I have purchased a vehicle from Enfield Branch and their service is worst (i can't say in words). Everytime i send an email a different person responds who does not even bother to see the previous mails or study the history of the issue, So irresponsible people and never ever recommend these unprofessional people.

Cars mid-advertised as “ready for you to drive away with immediate collection in-store” and with features it simply didn’t have, in this case one of my essential criteria. I saw a car I liked at a good price and arranged for a test drive, I took a second person fully expecting to pay £24k cash and drive away in my new car. I drove over an hour for this car specifically. First my exisitng car was appraised for a part ex, which I wasn’t bothered about as I figured I’d get more privately, but allowed them to inspect all the same. It’s clear they take your keys from you to delay your leaving after you’ve told them you don’t want to proceed/need to think. Said several times we weren’t committing today and indicated we’d like to leave - sales assistant kept going away for ten mins at a time, not upfront that he was discussing with his manager and would return each time without my car keys and slightly adjusted figures. I was there over two hours A 21 plate car hadn’t been serviced since 21 (go figure), the sales person didn’t know about its 3 owner history, it was missing a trim on the rear wheel arch and so wasn’t ready to drive away at all and they wouldn’t deliver. The warranty isn’t that at all - it’s a contribution under very limited circumstances. The warranty they try and upsell isn’t much better either. There was absolutely no peace of mind with this car which is what I thought was an advantage of purchasing from a dealership. I will add the sales person was nice enough, he was doing a job and no doubt what he had been trained to do. I am glad I came home and read these reviews as it’s confirmed my suspicions.

Disgusting after sales 8 months on and I'm £210 out of pocket and big motoring world so whatever they wish to avoid their warranty obligations. They hid previous owner's garage report of serious front shock absorber failure and need of replacement. And having with deal with this company for them to honour their warranty obligations they continue to circumvent another requirement at each and every turn. Wish to be queue position 40 on the phone? Be my guest. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Disgusting salesman tactics! Sold me full admin fee £299 then over heard the table next to me got free Admin fee, then he also go a free tank of petrol! When I complained to my salesman he said he couldnt do anything. Then within 2 days of having the car the discs and pads needed changing and central locking failed, tried numerous times to sort with BMW but its impossible, they dont pick up the phones, emails they have started ignoring, now taking legal action against them.
