I have never experienced such a poor customer experience as Virgin Media. They dug up my newly laid drive and did an extremely poor repair. Months after my complaint they put right the damage only to inform me that the original objective to repair the cable had not been completed. I stupidly let them dig my drive up again and they have done an incredibly poor repair. Worse still they are denying responsibility. I am just about to take them to court. Steer clear of these cowboys.

Absolutely shocking customer service all we wanted to do was cancel our account and send the box back as we found out they do not service in our area, we was on the phone for 2 HOURS being passed through to every singe department we even got hung up on twice! All we wanted to do was cancel our account and they can’t even do that it’s a simple thing! I will never ever recommend virgin to anyone the worst customer service I have ever received. Don’t know how they are still operating, I also put in a complaint and shock I have heard nothing back absolutely disgraceful

I’ve been with Virgin Media for many years, but recently transferred to Sky! I rang to confirm ending my TV and Broadband and the lovely lady I spoke to said ‘oh yeah Sky - rubbish Broadband’. I totally disagree with what she said. Her. comments did not hold any weight because I am sick and I am tired of having rubbish Broadband from Virgin Media and paying a high price for such a rubbish service! If Sky are worse, then I will apologise, but my Broadband experience with Virgin has not been good. We all pay a high amount for ‘super fast’ services, but I’ve not had that yet!

I don't even know where to start with this company. I just wished Telewest never sold their business to these Virgin scammers. I've been a customer with Virgin scammers for around 10 years, sometimes the misses with be paying for it and when we moved other address, I would be the one paying for it. Then my house burned down including their modem and they charged me £50 for it. Their customer service which is from India refused to waived it, showed no compassion whatsoever while dealing with me. I've tried numerous phone calls to try get that £50 back because let's face it, I've just been in a fire but they wouldn't help. What amazed me the most was that every single customer service agent that i dealt with behaved the same way and it felt like talking to wall. On the other side, I couldn't attend my physiotherapy sessions and had all charges waived due to the circumstances. From that day, I decided I would never affiliate myself to any business that has the name of Virgin and decided to move on until I got an email this morning that my details have been compromised when i specifically told them to delete everything about me. A report will be made after this to Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) because I'm not happy that a cheap, unethical company like Virgin is still holding information about me, its been 1 year VIRGIN. Was it really a breach or have you been selling our information to make some extra money to fund your space programme scam? To be honest, expect the unexpected when it comes to unethical cheap companies like Virgin. All the money you give to them through Virgin goes to their stupid space programme anyway, it doesn't go into any innovations. They planned taking humans in 2008 and we're 2020. We are all getting scammed. They call Elon musk a scammer but i believe Richard Branson is the scammer of the century. At least Elon Musk shows progress. Wake up guys and hit them when it hurts the most. Do you want to deal with a company that is Cheap and unethical like Virgin? If yes, then go ahead and throw money at them. You been warned !!!!

Awful customer service. Don’t listen to your problems, they just read off a script and talk over you. Oh, and they well and truly rip you off aswell, charging for services they have already cancelled even though you pay in advance.

After a week with Virgin Media I've had enough. Promised (and paying for) broadband average speed of 108Mbps and getting nothing like that. Running 2 Firesticks and laptop (not at same time) I'm getting speeds of 28, 0.1 and 11 respectively. They sent a booster, for a small 2 bed bungalow this shouldn't be necessary. Made no difference at all but when I went to remove it from the socket it was too hot to handle. Combine all this with absolutely disgraceful customer service and I've had enough. Still in cooling off period but they tell me I have to pay for installation and 7 days use. You can whistle for that Virgin.

I have used many broadbands over the years. Unfortunately at my current place Virgin was the only option and I have never been that dissatisfied with any provider before. AVOID IT! Cancelled my contract without an explanation, then I started new contract which it two times higher. The worst broadband!

Contempt for long standing customers I've been with VM for more than a decade. Coming out of contract, monthly cost increased from £27 to £44.50 a 65% monthly increase. Going back into contract, best offered was £30.50 per month, a 13% increase. A new customer can get the identical package for £25 per month with no connection fee. This is disgraceful.

Horrifying! Stay away at all cost! They are quick in taking your money and charging you more every single month without even having agreed on it. But the customer service is THE absolute horrifying NIGHTMARE. STAY AWAY from them at all cost. I had to close my account as moving in with my boyfriend who already is with Virgin Media. So I contacted them first on 10th January to end my contract for 31st January. I gave them my new address and was told I would receive a prepaid package to my old address in order to send the router back in between ten days. Guess what: Nothing happened until 31st January. Instead of doing their job they sent me another bill for almost £100 to pay for until end of February. I contacted them again, explained the situation again, paid the correct amount of £51.92 to close my account and was told I would receive the prepaid package now to my new flat in the next few days. Meanwhile I had given them my new address about 5 times via phone, sms and email as they kept bothering me asking for it and sending back their bloody router otherwise they would charge me £40. A couple of weeks later and after more sms and emails from them and another bill now for £4.43 (whatever for that was???) and of course no prepaid packaging for the router I called them again. The customer service agent seemed to be not as dumb as the rest of them although I had to confirm my new address to him for another three times in order to receive the prepaid package for the router. He cancelled the bill of £4.43 and I hoped this would be finally the end. BUT Virgin Media proofed me wrong! More emails and sms regarding my new address, more threat of charging me £40 and of course no prepaid package for the router. God o mighty! Finally the package came last week after 6 weeks in total so I could put the router in it and deliver it to one of their service stations which I did. But that was not enough for them. Today I got another email that they now have charged me £40 as I have not send back the router still. I was fuming, had to call them again and had to proof with my receipt that I had send back the router. STAY AWAY .... and wish me luck that this is the end with them. NEVER AGAIN!

Constant drop outs of their network, calls to call centre get terminated before we even get to speak to anyone, no compensation for lack of usable internet connection despite paying for 200Mb/s. Terminating contract asap.

SHOCKING!!!!!! Cancelled our broadband which wasn't easy cause we couldn't remember our original password.. finally got to speak to a human who cancelled direct debit and told me my final bill would be £6.96 and to ring up and pay. Today I gets an email saying I owe another £41.74! Also cancellation email was sent to an ex partner and they couldn't resend it to the correct email.. nothing online mentioning any cancellation either. We just have to trust they cut us off on the 15th!! SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING don't even deserve 1 star.

No service, poor customer service, on going issues and they don't care. Wondering how they will respond when I take them to court via money claim online, may be the only way to get them to understand they can't get away with their treatment of customers paying a premium for the service.

Terrible service, almost every week the landline for the business going down, which means a loss and they don't do a lot to sort it out.

it is a terrible company. I highly recommend to avoid them. I did a 1 year contract and htey told me that i could move the contract around. I tried to move the contract to a house in central london 2 mins from the original house. Both houses are near St Paul in a super central area. In the new house there was no Virgin media connection but there was sky and BT. I was charged £100. I have 0 customer respect for Virgin Media. It is in a monopolistic markte and they treat customers super badly. If i were a Virgin Media manager I would look at these reviews. I hope customers will realize soon on how bad you are. By the way your customer service team is super under staffed and the wait time is super bad...... From a customer who super dislike Virgin media

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS WOEFUL EXCUES FOR AN INTERNET PROVIDER! Long story short - I had my installation booked for Feb 7th, then had it cancel on me about 5 different times and eventually pushed back to 14th March... The call centre staff are the worst, absolute pathetic excuse for "customer service", they can't do their jobs properly at all. I'm sure Richard Branson must be getting his internet from BT

I’m a non Virgin Media customer .The appalling Customer Service beggars belief.I had to complain about the slipshod method of their cable installation and connection to a neighbour’s house, culminating in our clean navy blue car being covered ,including windows, with thick grey concrete dust. The noise from the drill in use was deafening and injurious. I lodged a complaint and after numerous phone calls , I’m told that my financial claim, for car cleaning is being considered because I am a non Virgin customers and do not have a Virgin account !!!! I‘ve told them a cheque ,£13.00 ,to cover the cost, would suffice!! Fortunately,I have maintained a log of events. The” excuses” and Virgin diary of events displayed a discrepancy and ,in my opinion, an economical use of the truth. Having read the reviews of their customers,my advice is ,avoid this part of the Virgin Logo like the plague I’m still waiting for a reply to my claim. Financial con merchants lacking integrity.
