My shuttle was cancelled less than 24 hours before departure. Couldn't find an alternative shuttle so I had to book an expensive last minute private transfer at 6 times the price - with the SAME provider who cancelled last minute. If I cannot cancel without a penalty three days in advance and not at all one day in advance, why can the provider?! In Europe, I would sue (doesn't work here I guess). Terrible experience and no compensation offered, just a short "sorry"

I had booked a return ferry trip from Split to Hvar months ago. The money had come out of my account and I received a confirmation email. 1 week before the trip while I was already in Croatia, I was sent an email to say my booking was cancelled for a reason I did not give and the money refunded. Now I am left with no way of getting to the island because all other ferries are booked out. I have non refundable accommodation booked on the island and no way of getting there. DO NOT Book WITH THIS COMPANY. They cancel your ticket without warning and for a reason they make up! Customer service was non existent

Huge scam company. Booked with them in Mexico, and they never showed up at the agreed place and time, called them and they didnt pick up. I called the agency they had booked for us, and they told me to catch a cab since we had to catch a flight. They told us that bookaway would refund the taxi, since they didnt show up. When I contacted them at home, they were quick to reply but refused to refund anything. Even though I explained everything to them, and even sent them the emails I received from them earlier. I have never experienced such lousy custommer service, EVER. Again, do not book with this company, find something else that can get you to your desired place.

Please note that the operator's policy is stated explicitly on the voucher when purchasing a ticket, and it's important to contact them in advance to confirm the exact pick-up time. Unfortunately, since you missed your pick-up due to not contacting them in advance, we weren't able to provide a refund. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded 20% of your booking. Worst experience of my life. I was ready early and they never showed up and there was no phone number to call for help, I had bad phone service, emailed the company and got delayed responses. I waited for hours outside and got a sunburn. After waiting a couple of hours I realized there were no other options for transportation out for the night. I had to pay triple the amount I paid here for a taxi from Monteverde to San Jose. I am a female, the taxi had two men, one man kept taking pictures of me and grabbed my arm. I was afraid of being trafficked. I made it to my destination several hours after what was expected, risked my health, safety, and missed opportunities. Now the company is asking the driver about what happened before they can give me my $80 back. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Terrible costumer service. I thought if I paid more with a company I would be better of than taking public transportation. The place I stayed at helped me get a ride out, they told me to always book through the hotel or hostel you are staying at. If I don’t get a refund I will be certain this company is a SCAM!

TO AVOID ABSOLUTELY We reserved and paid 3 months ago US $ 1 405 for a private return transfer between El Calafate in Argentina and an Hotel in Torres de Paine Chili. Less than 48 hours before the departure we received a simple e mail telling me " that the departure time you chose is fully booked and unavailable. Because of this, we have gone ahead and canceled" They have needed 3 months to realise that ? They have taken my $ 1 405 for 3 months (in a country where inflation is about 10% a month), worked with it and just left me in the s.... I am now obliged to find, at the latest moment, someone to do that prestation and pay just any price for it ( US $ 2 700 as it's happens) WHO COULD TRUST A COMPANY WHO DARE TO ACT LIKE THAT WITH ITS CUSTOMERS ???

Our travel in bus with you was horrible ! 1) It was more expensive if you compare with the price in hotels in Ha Tien or Chau Doc, but it's ok if all your organisation was perfect and confort was better ! But it wasn't !! 2) we taked 4 bus and between them nobody explain to us why we need to change or where we had to go ! 3) in your information, you say the arrival was for 11.30am... we arrive at 2h30pm !! Never again with you !

Bookaway sold me a ticket for a sailing 24 hours prior to the sailing, that was not sailing. They knew that it was not sailing, the ferry company informed me that the sailing had been canceled days prior to me purchasing my ticket from Bookaway. I was reimbursed from the ferry company only for the price of my ticket, not for the included cost that I paid Bookaway to sell me that bogus ticket. NICE WAY TO MAKE A LIVING, BOOKAWAY, ripping off and scamming good meaning tourists. Don't purchase from this company, you may as well throw your money in the sea for all that you will get for your efforts.

We booked a week in advance a sleeping bus from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh, never received confirmation email. Was contacting bookaway using email and live chat and they continue to say confirmation is coming. 4 hours before scheduled departure they finally say in chat that bus is full and booking had been canceled and refund in 7-10 days. Now may miss a connecting flight and ruin holidays. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

De la poudre aux yeux. Il est en effet pratique de pouvoir acheter ses billets le soir pour le lendemain en quelques cliques sans aller en agence. Les promesses sur la pub sont geniales. Encore faut il les tenir. J'ai acheté 2 billets au départ de Siem reap pour aller à Kampot. L'annonce est clair : bus couchette ( avec belle photo d'un bus de luxe couchette spacieuse ) Pas d'arrêt sauf pour manger et toilette 15h de route Départ 20h30 arrivée 11h a Kampot. Départ La couchette est bien plus petite que sur la photo de l'annonce, pas de fenêtre et même pas de quoi s'éclairer si on veut lire par exemple. J'ai découvert par la suite que nous étions dans un bus hôtel et pas dans un bus luxe comme sur la photo de votre annonce. Une pause comme convenu pour manger et passer au toilette. 6h du matin réveil ... Dernier arrêt on sort du bus On se retrouve devant une agence fermée Personne ne parle anglais et donc personne ne nous explique. Mon GPS me donne ma position Sihanouk ville. La je me dis zut j'ai raté l'arrêt. Mais non en fait c'est la que un autre bus doit venir nous prendre pour Kampot. 3 heure a attendre un autre bus, assis au sol sous le soleil. Un van pas confortable du tout arrive puis 2h30 de voyage sans clim. Après tout ça je vous écrit pour vous faire part de mon mecontentement. Je ne reproche rien aux personnes qui travaillent dans la compagnie de bus car eux ont fait leur travail. Je dis que votre annonce est mensongère Voyager dans de "mauvaises" condition ne me dérange pas si on me le dit en avance. J'ai eu le droit a un message automatique puis ensuite une personne m'a remercié pour les informations et m'a averti que j'aurai une réponse dans les heures qui suivent. Cela fait plus de 48h que j'attend de vos nouvelles. J'estime être en droit de demander un geste commercial a la hauteur du manquement de sérieux de votre part. J'ai deja acheter un autre billet via votre site. Je ne suis pas rancunier je vous fait juste remarquer aux yeux de tous la négligence dont vous faites preuve a l'égard de vos clients 60 euros pour un trajet qui ne correspond en aucun cas a votre descriptif. Je vous ai ecrit via WhatsApp et email pour trouver une solution mais rien y fait alors Voilà Mon premier post/avis sur les réseaux

Booked bus and ferry tickets from Ao Nang, Krabi to koh Pha-ngan. The bus didn’t even turn up so had to get a taxi costing double the amount and missed ferry as we were late from waiting for so long. No refund offered. DO NOT USE!!!

DO-NOT-USE-BOOKAWAY We booked and paid for bus tickets from Dalat to Na Trang online. They have never send us the final tickets as promised within 24 hours. This caused us to buy new tickets at the local bus station and wait for multiple hours.

Booking confirmed with pick up but pick up never came. IMPOSSIBLE to reach Bookaway by chat, numerous international and local Thai numbers, Line etc. NO customer service. Had to get to the ferry on our own. NEVER book with them again !

Atrocious. No service apart from to themselves for taking your money. We paid double we should have for tickets in Thailand. We were refused tickets because we had no ID number. No assistance from Bookaway. Robbers. Do not use.
