Not able to honour Black Friday deals because the courier "Lost" the item. I suspect the item was oversold. Now i'm down £50 because Black Friday is over. Awful behaviour

Hi, We are very sorry to read of your experience with us at Box.co.uk, Unfortunately occasionally couriers do have issues with items and are lost. Looking in to your order this was the case and we have a parcel claim in process for you order. Again so sorry about this and if we had a replacement black friday stock we would first offered this. As an apology we have sent through a £10 Discount Code for use on any future orders with Box.co.uk

Purchased desktop would crash with multiple BSODs. Arranged for unit to be sent back for repair. Unit returned supposedly repaired but was in worse state than previous, major chip driver was not installed & the unit did not have required 4k resolution & sound! The unit continued to BSOD. Sent unit back for repair. Informed that unit was not faulty. Sent screen shots of BSOD. Requested after 4 months that a refund be made. No answer. Referred to financial ombudsman. Will not buy from them again.

Since October 5, waiting for the order to be delivered on October 8, we have been delayed a few times, hoping that the goods will come. Eventually it was found that the TV was lost. So from them no message, no call, just me and my fiancée had to call, write messages, ask for what I paid. I received a message with the context if we want the TV or money to be returned. We chose the TV because we need it. They decided to return our money yesterday, October 29th. So almost a month without a TV, waiting for the order! Total dissatisfaction!

After requesting from them "Price Match" for 6 different items across 5 different retailers, none of the items been able to match price that requested. Another scam site.

Horrendous customer services, first things first spent £1850 on the laptop, when the unit arrived it had scratches on the included power supply (bit annoying but only aesthetic so let it slide) then booted up the laptop to find it blacks out every so often when doing anything ( browsing the Web, watching Netflix) and also would straight up restart when trying to run anything through steam, so quite simply requested a return to have fully functioning unit sent as a replacement. , return process easy enough, but over the phone would be told I could be possibly charged for the repair if one is needed, lol that's not an option I'm not paying for you to repair for a device that arrived broken less than 48 hours ago, I then today received an email telling me they tested the device, there is nothing wrong with it but If I wanted to return it they would charge me 19% in "restocking" fees due to the scratch on power supply (which came scratched as stated before) this means because I paid £1850 for a laptop I have to pay £351 to return a device that arrived faulty? All I wanted was for them to send a brand new one that works. I paid £1850 for a broken product and only wanted a replacement. I'm absolutely disgusted and appalled by the customer service of this company and will be taking this further to the financial ombudsman.

Awful (paid) next day delivery service. I needed a card ASAP and not only this store did not meet its commitment but it did not warn me at any point and made me lose several days waiting for a refund.

If anything goes wrong you are completely stuffed. It's almost like they are playing mind games to deliberately wind you up. Bought a 3D printer costing nearly £500. It had a warped bed. Box put me through to their 3D technician. I sent him an email with some photos of the printer. I had put a perspex sheet over the metal print bed held on by paper clips because the nozzle kept scraping it, I did this to protect the printer. As soon as their technician Mark saw this he emailed box to say that I had voided the warranty. I called Box to say that was ridiculous. They then offered to let me speak to their technician at £65 per hour. I said there was no way that I was paying that and had a very rude lady tell me that they were under no obligation to help me as the product was out of warranty. They then called saying that Mark would call me later that day. He did at 6pm. He couldn't wait to get off the phone quickly enough. Must have been two minutes, he said he would call me back the next day. I waited until 11am then called him on the phone no he had called me on the day before. He had a right go at me telling me that I shouldn't have called him on that number and that I should email him. I did asking for him to try and help me on the phone. He wouldn't do it but kept sending me links to you tube videos. When I spent a very frustrating day all day with nothing fixed and asked to speak to him on the phone to help. He replied that he was contacting box returns. That was it. A day totally wasted by Mark who couldn't be bothered to do his job. If you buy from these clowns and anything goes wrong they will look for any excuse to get out of helping you. Then when they are forced to help they will just waste your day. Awful company. P. S. Shirley was nice.

Total scammers - they sell you broken laptops/or at least on their last legs, and offer a very short (illegal) warranty so they can refuse to help when it breaks after a few months. The laptop I bought got a BSOD within about 6 months, and they refused to help. The BSOD was due to the motherboard breaking through overheating. I paid £400 to have a laptop for 5 months. Claimed they had no responsibility to help because of their 6 month warranty, but this is illegal as consumer rights laws say a faulty item can be returned for up to 2 years. It also arrived with the casing broken. I'm still waiting for my £400 back.

I am another customer who has been left in the lurch by Box. They sent me an item (Thrustmaster wheel) that had missing parts and when I contacted them they told me I had to contact the manufacturer for the 'replacements'! You can imagine how well that's going...! My purchase was from Box - they have taken my money but taken no responsibility for the supply of the item in good order. Shame on them.

I was another one that fell into the Ryzen 2700 trap. They had what seemed to be an offer on, it had been on for a number of days and I had ordered it on Friday with a Motherboard and memory. Last night at half 6 I received two emails, one saying my order had been dispatched and another saying my CPU had been cancelled with a £10 voucher code that comes up as invalid when you try to use it. It would have been nice to have been asked if I needed the other goods after cancelling a part of the order. Or they could have offered an alternative. I doubt I will use the company again as their customer service seems to be lacking and also seem to use fake trustpilot reviews.

And i'm going to be leaving negative comments everywhere i can for Box Limited

The customer service agent I dealt with was rude, condescending and raised his voice at me; insisted that it was me who was wrong when it is printed on the website the locations that require extra allowance for delivery. when I relieved notification that my parcel was being delivered that day, he changed the delivery date without my consent, which confused the driver and resulted in no parcel. This was after I was told to wait a further week for said item even though it was 20miles down the road at the depo. I had paid to have it delivered that day, have not received a refund and am still without parcel.

So I have been a loyal Box.co.uk user for sometime and agreed with the rest of the reviews on here, but PRAY that nothing you ever buy from box goes wrong or is faulty. I have spent thousands on this site, have recommended to friends and relatives, one of my friends even uses box as an exclusive supplier for his company based upon my recommendation. After all of this, I have been sold a faulty PC that cost £1300 - merely 5 months after spending this large sum of money the machine is completely unusable and box.co.uk have outright refused to replace or refund the item. Despite my best efforts and despite my loyalty, they are insisting in is NOT THEIR PROBLEM and I should take it up with the manufacturer. UK Consumer Law would suggest otherwise and I am currently in the process of taking the required actions. Please, do yourself a favour and buy your tech from Amazon or somewhere where they actually care about their customers. Do Not buy from this company - Be Warned.

Light bleed on my monitor which was obviously not their faul but their handling of the replacement has been abismal. They did not even attempt to accomidate given me not having a monitor would mean I could not work and on top of that despite saying an absolute plethora of times that i want a replacement asap, once i no longer had a computer with an actual monitor, they still decided to contact me via email instead of phone (though they had permission through the data usage act) to ask if i wanted a replacement or refund! Now 6 days after sending it back and 7 after raising the initial problem, i have had to sort an alternative as ive been without a pc for almost a week and i find their idiotic question which has further delayed getting a replacement. communication was poor, the were un-accomidating and just all round did not handle the situation well at all, avoid like the plague

WORST customer service I've ever seen !!! I've order a laptop that was 'exclusive upgraded to 16GB RAM'. The laptop I received was a used one, had a scratch on it, fingerprints, AC power cord unfolded and dirty, box was damaged, the protective bag was ripped. Anyway, as the aftersales and returns department is only email based support, I've managed to get in touch with one agent and explained the situation. A return has been processed and laptop sent back. After sending the laptop back, I've checked the progress and saw when they got it. The status was saying that it might take up to 7 working days to asses the product. I've sent them an email and asked to process this as soon as possible as a week passed already and I was not making use of the laptop I've ordered. In my email, I also specifically said that I'm not looking for a refund as the laptop was purchased through finance. I've asked them to send me a replacement one or the 8GB RAM model which should be new and sealed. At no point I've asked for a refund. Of course, my email was overlooked, as the customer support agent confirmed when I got in touch with them, and they processed a refund without even asking what I prefer, resulting in my finance agreement being cancelled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND BOX.CO.UK, which is the same!!!
