“I've tried a couple other similar takes/companies like Brightside. After meeting with Denise for the first time, I knew this was the path for me. Not only is Denise AH-MAY-ZING, but the company too! Brightside's outlook and goals is what I've been looking for in a company to work with for my mental health. I would recommend them in a HEARTBEAT!”
“I like Brightside and appreciate the change I have seen in myself over the last couple of months. It was difficult asking for help but was really what was needed. My provider did a good job discussing alternatives and making recommendations for my care and I felt it was more of a collaboration than them dictating what I would do.”
“This service has a really hands off approach to care, but they are very agressive in forcing responses, and immediately prescribed medication. Additionally their website denies access to the rest of the website until you schedule a therapist meaning, since I am seeking outside care I really can't reach out to my psychiatrist or use the website.”
“I was very excited at first and optimistic. However, I get 30-minute calls with my therapist now, and there is nothing I can resolve in that amount of time. Since I have a copay, I cannot schedule multiple calls a week without paying a lot. I am thankful for the medication management but can get that from my PCP. The reason I am using Brightside is for the therapy. It's not really panning out right now.”
“Brightside has been extremely helpful for me. It has helped me work through some trauma and realize a few things about me and my relationships with people. With Brightside I don’t feel as down or depressed as I was before.”
“Brightside makes it so easy and convenient to get care. My providers are wonderful, and scheduling is super flexible. It's an amazing price for the quality of care you receive. Most places have a wait time of several weeks before you can receive care, but with Brightside, I've been able to make next-day appointments. It is life-changing. I just wish I could get my Brightside services covered by my insurance plan.”
“This is a very effective way of getting treatment for anxiety and depression. I was in a dark place and this has been a savior considering try to find a local psychiatrist is nearly impossible.”
“Though I like Brightside, lately I have had trouble accessing my lessons. I also just messaged my therapist because my dashboard shows an old appointment is upcoming so I am unable to book my next appointment with her. The customer service team have been kind and helpful, but these issues are making it difficult to use Brightside.”
“I have gotten a great deal out of Bright side and intend to continue the servise but I would have a few notes when it comest to the usability of the online portal and booking of treatment. I would LOVE to be able to book 60 min sessions with my therapist to get a lot more out of an individual session.
Also would love to have a dedicated smart device app rather than constantly using the web browser. I know this is a nitpick but would be a great deal more convenient.”
“I love Brightside. After having my 2nd baby between my crazy work schedule and my psychiatrists already booked up schedule, I could never get an appointment that worked for me to discuss my medication changes with her. I began researching online doctors or psychiatrists and came across a few but ended up picking Brightside because I liked the fact that you could submit a request for review at any point if you felt the treatment was off track. So far it’s been wonderful, I have appointments with my provider on my schedule and don’t have to worry about drive time or leaving my house if I’m already home after work. I love it and it’s been super convenient for me.”
“Great service!! Was so easy to schedule an appt for meds when my depression got bad. Unable to get in with someone local for 6 weeks. Had seen the Dr and my meds again within 48 hours. Lifesaving. Literally!”
“Understanding how the system works is difficult. There’s no way of tracking when my next appointment should be or if I need one at all to get a refill. I’m also not sure if that happens automatically or not. Also the first provider I had missed an appointment and tried to shift the blame to me and the second one is just kind of assumptive and rude.”
