“FRAUD ALERT - YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY
FRAUD ALERT! I can prove with mails, chat, bank transactions (money of 1000+ pounds completely drained) that these are very clever frauds. They will make a few tickets work and swindle the rest thereby making it look like they are actually a genuine company.
Few examples:
1. They will book flights with airlines that do not have a flight operating on that date with between those cities. And they will say please wait till the last date to confirm.
2. They take extra money for guaranteed cancellation/change and refund. When you want to cancel or change the ticket they will blatantly say that because of the airlines they will not refund anything.
3. The airline reference number they provide is a fake. Having spoken to the airline themselves, they say they are helpless because of such brokers inbetween doing the fraudulent activities.
I lost more than a 1000 pounds and couldnt take my flight, be careful and AVOID AVOID AVOID for your own good.
Also be careful - they will respond as if they are extremely professional and that the fault it elsewhere. Dont fall for it.”
“In reading through the feedback that this "company" receives, it hardly takes a rocket scientist to realize that this is a scam website. Why hasn't it been shut down when so many people clearly have been mislead into purchasing tickets for non-existing flights? I was looking for flights myself and found a mysteriously cheap pair offered through this website. I'd never accept anything so cheap right away, and so some light research led me right through this reviews page. I feel sorry for those who didn't check it out prior to booking with them. When something is suspiciously cheap, then there's often something wrong.”
“Please try to avoid Budget Air at any cost. I cancelled my flight last year and it has been over 13 months and still have not received my refund, I was informed that the redund was processed (pre-Covid), yet no refund. The contact is lousy and disgusting. Anytime that an email is sent to them, the response from Budget Air is an automated response.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PRECIOUS TIME!”
“Liars and cheats. Telephone number is 02032394786. Email address sales@budgerairtravels.co.uk. Name is James (although Indian with an Indian accent) Noor and Norrie. Please feel free to share these details!”
“The website says airline fees for cancelation will be £100pp this is actually £300 and i was told it was 'probably a technical error' but regardless i had to pay for the technical error. Its impossible to get in contact with anyone live (the sceptic would say it might be because they aren't delivering a service). on top of all this i have cancelled a flight which was due in less than a months time and apparently the refund will take 16weeks.......... you read that correctly not days weeks 4 months to receive a refund. its shocking and a terrible company NEVER USE”
“This company is a con. We booked a holiday for four of us to go to Australia for Christmas. They have just cancelled 90 days before we are due to go. Also, they said it will be 8-10 weeks before we get a refund. Tickets are now double the price. How are we going to book another trip to Australia? Also, My partner has just been told he has terminal cancer and so I want to have this one last holiday with him before he starts getting sick. This company is a big con. Just keeping our money in their accounts for 6 months and breaking our hearts.”
“this is the minimum star i can give other wise i would give in minus
as airline cancelled flight and i have sent many email and contact via live chat and get some contact number via forum but i could not contated and they didnt even replied my email for refund my money its been 3 months and they still didnt replied to me”
“Don't book with them. Book with the airline direct. Airline can then resolve all your issues directly. If you book with BudgetAir it becomes their responsibility to resolve your issues and they couldn't care less, are not capable of doing so and don't want to try. They'll just say that everything is the airline's responsibility, whilst the airline will just say everything is the agent's responsibility (which it is) and you'll end up getting bounced around between the two getting no help.
They misleadingly sell tickets with no baggage, claiming it can be added later when in reality all that can be added later is expensive excess baggage. Adding a simple checked bag requires a change of ticket type. Airline says this is possible and have issued a telex explaining this to BudgetAir.
BudgetAir refuse to carry out the changes to the ticket that the airline say are possible. They refuse to contact the airline to find out how to do the thing the airline says they can do. They can't even pick up a phone and call the airline. What kind of travel agent can't talk to an airline?
They admit that they are not using the correct booking system to make changes the airline say are possible. They are not able to provide the level of service you need because they aren't using the right system.
They arranged to call me, despite initially saying they have no phones. Agent calls me at 01:30am when I am highly likely to be asleep (and let's be honest they knew that which is why they chose to call me then so they didn't have to speak to me but could pretend they tried). Ask for call to be rearranged for working hours, am told this will be considered, but it doesn't happen. Upon chasing am once again told they have no phones. A travel agent with no phones at all anywhere in the building. If it were true it would be clearly unprofessional but it's clearly a lie, because someone managed to ring me at 01:30am.
Then the airline made a change to the itinerary. I am told by the airline that the ticket can be cancelled by BudgetAir for a full refund, if I don't like the itinerary change. BudgetAir refuse to cancel ticket and provide refund. They refuse to ask airline how to do this as per the problem before where they apparently don't talk to airlines.
The airline have informed me someone has accepted the change in itinerary. It wasn't me, I'm guessing BudgetAir did that without asking me.”
“Avoid these Clowns at all costs,as soon as you pay communication grinds to snail pace and they never answer calls and do not have physical office in London,I could go on and on but do not make same mistake by booking through this Circus as you will receive generic email responses rather than actual solutions”
“I requested for refund, they are are so irresponsible about their customers issues. They didn't reply me back about refund. Even they don't provide you any contact number so you can contact them. Would rate 0/10 about customer satisfaction and wouldn't recommend anyone as they don't care about customer feedback.”
“I would give 0 stars if possible. They clearly have staff giving good reviews on here for them because there isn't one nice thing to mention about them on social media. We cancelled our flights within 30 minutes of booking with them as we had stupidly booked the wrong month. They told us that our money would be returned within 5 working days. Since then, I have had numerous exchanges of emails fobbing me off...oh the airline is pending cancellation...the backlog of refunds is causing the delay in my refund...it will be 5 days...it will be 10-15 days...it will be upto 6 weeks. They are absolutely clueless! I contacted our airline who had no such booking or pending cancellation. We cancelled before the airline came into the equation. What they have done is illegal. DO NOT use this company. They also trade as TRIP.COM and TRAVIX They are scammers and will take your money without a refund and many didn't even recieve their eticket. Please check Twitter and Facebook to see the hundreds and thousands of people these companies have scammed. We have learned a very expensive lesson and worst of all will be stranded in Bangkok as they took our money for return flights home. Please avoid!”
“I booked a flight one way and I needed to change the date. I used their online chat and was sent an email quoting a total charge of 155 pounds9admin charge plus fare difference). I told them to go ahead and heard nothing back from them for a week. When I chased it they told me that the difference was over 1000 pounds. I could actually buy a ticket directly from Lufthansa for a cheaper price. I emailed countless times but they never answer your queries. Its just a standard reply and noone calls you. It is incredibly frustrating. I told them they have to honour the price I accepted and told them to go ahead with and book but a month later still no luck. They are awful when there is an issue.”
“I didn't have a bad experience, I had an absolutely terrible experience and I'm telling everyone about it, friends, social media, wherever, etc. Customer service is dreadful, but at least I eventually got a refund for my non-existent flight after writing a letter since it's so difficult to contact them any other way. Never mind all the additional costs I incurred because they failed to notify me that my flight was cancelled. We went to the airport in Tivat, Montenegro and were told that our Swiss Air flight to Amsterdam did not exist, and that Swiss Air doesn't fly out of that airport. We were meant to arrive in Amsterdam that evening, where we were going to have a lovely dinner with our son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter and had a reservation at a very nice and rather pricey Bed & Breakfast. After being told that our flight to Amsterdam didn't exist we booked a flight to Belgrade with hopes of getting a flight out of there to Amsterdam. Belgrade is a much larger airport and we had a better chance of getting something from there. Everything was booked that evening so we purchased tickets for the following morning. We then had to take a taxi to an airport hotel. Two tickets to Belgrade, taxi to the hotel, taxi back to the airport, two tickets to Amsterdam--we spent an additional $900 because of Budget Air's failure in every way. And of course, we missed out on our first night at our B&B in Amsterdam. This whole experience caused so much stress and anxiety--I will never use Budget Air again.”
“Absolutely raging with anger at Budget Air, booked a ticket from London Heathrow to Istanbul on the 11th August 2022 yesterday 1st June 2022, got a confirmation email saying the 14th August, waiting 1 hour on the chat, finally got through, and charged me an extra £484 to change to the 11th August, this site is a RIP OFF, will now take action against this robbing company. SCAMMERS”
