“Good deal and experience in general. Unfortunately the provider could not deliver the extra levels of experience (at extra cost) alluded to in the available information due to the instructors limited qualifications for our booked time slot. This was not made clear at the time of booking or on arrival at the venue. However, I guess we got the experience we booked. Lesson learnt - be clear on what you want and clarify the venue can/will deliver before booking your time slot!”
“Overall the process and the offers are great and the information regarding the details of each offer is great. My only issue has been with the last two events that I booked a luxury spa and an afternoon tea. I was very disappointed with both of these events I went to. So maybe more should be looked into the specific offerings from the venues to ensure they deliver on service and what you are buying”
“The engraved writing was far smaller than what was shown in the advertised sample ring, as I had two names engraved and wording inside the band it was hard to make out and was written very thinly and wasn't legible enough to see unless I looked very close”
“As has happened on previous occasions, I was unable to place my Buyagift order online. I got as far as the ‘Confirmation’ stage after completing my card details, then came up. gains a ‘brick wall’, unable to proceed any further - just a ‘petal’ logo and it whirring around & around. So, I had to ring Buyagift & place my order over the phone. As I say, this has happened before, so Buyagift need to sort this out !”
“Very disappointed that after buying five gifts and it being very obvious that they were for Christmas, they were all dated from the day of purchase therefore giving only 8 months to use. That also meant losing the 30 day for swapping of gift not being able to use as they won't get the present until after this has elapsed.”
“The offers appear to be good value. They can however be misleading, eg afternoon tea and the view of the Shard. I expected both to be in the same building. Registering the voucher once purchased at your website was also an additional tedious step that I was not expecting. I speculated that the reason my be for added security.
When the Shard restaurant contacted me to tell me that they did not accept vouchers from you, I was surprised. I did then read the small print on your voucher.
After this I decided to cancel with you and your customer service was excellent listening to my concern and making a refund. I appreciate that. I will say that it would have been nice to have afternoon tea in the Shard with the afternoon tea in their restaurant as an offer.”
“Disappointed that the only free delivery option (email) does not result in delivery to the person who will receive the gift. It is basically a confirmation email to the purchaser. No reason for such a restriction other than to try and squeeze more money out of the customer.”

“Website was found through an engine search. The variety of gifts appeared to be extensive. It was easy enough to find the type of gift I had in mind and straight forward to place my order. I was a bit confused over whether I was receiving an e-voucher or if it was coming by post. As it turns out, I had both. I cannot comment on how easy it was to book the trip or if it lived up to expectation as this has not been achieved yet.”

After a query to your help line I was given one to use. (didn't work) Finally I tried the post code for the hotel I will be staying-- it worked?
I feel that this process could be sped up by issuing a voucher after payment is verified.”
“A great idea but poorly executed- I bought a 3 course meal for 2. Ordering process, delivery and presentation all excellent. Process to redeem voucher was playing up on the website (a quick call to the Helpdesk and all was explained but we’d already wasted an hour trying to understand where we were going wrong). I asked them to put a warning message on the website or update their written instructions but not convinced they will do either (help desk agent not great). Meal was good but presented with a full bill at the end with a £39 deduction!! This was resolved when we spoke to the manager. I would almost say it’s easier to just give cash for a meal next time except that Buyagift did work out quite a bit cheaper and without the awkwardness of giving cash.”
