Several problems: Logging in requires four different data items - voucher no, PIN, postcode, email address. That is excessive and increases likelihood of errors. Looked for a show - found one which the calendar stated had availability - but no availability on seating plan. No telephone no to call - only very very slow "live" chat with a long queue. Would not recommend.

I bought a voucher for a silver theatre two tickets. You do not know before you buy the voucher what tickets this allows you to book. I selected two tickets to see Mary Poppins on a Monday evening. I booked the best available tickets that I was offered for that performance . When I looked these up on the theatre website the same day they were £42.50 each, a total of £85.00. The deal costs £129.99 ! You are not allowed to change this deal once purchased . I did contact Buy a Gift and received a voucher, but no explanation. However, many people might not realise that they have overpaid for the tickets. It needs to be made clear that the tickets offered may not be of the value of the cost of the voucher. However, the show was .brilliant.

I haven't used your services before and from a user experience it's very convoluted. 1. Buying the gift and paying was easy 2. Using the gift was frustrating and time consuming as explained below: - Entering codes and pins multiple times to find your option - contacting your preferred option to be told they have no availability until next year - contacting your 2nd option to be told they have no availability until next year - contacting your 3rd option to be told they have no availability until next year - contacting your 4th option to be told they have no availability until next year - contacting your 5th option to be told they have no availability until next year - contacting your 6th option to be told they have no availability until next year - Each time having to call, go on hold or be told to call back Ultimately I had to rebuy the experience direct with a different provider which was far easier and i could use it on the weekend I wanted which was as a birthday surprise. I will never use one of these gift sites again as it is not conducive to treating a partner, friend, family member on set dates.

Well the experience I wanted and ordered was not available. U should be able to check the dates u want first. Not impressed really asked for a refund and was ignored

Wanted a specific venue to give as a gift, but received open voucher for recipient to choose. Tried to change but told no specific voucher available although available elsewhere. Guess thats how it is and accepted but will be wary next time.

£200 voucher bought for us as a wedding present but almost impossible to use. After trawling through thousands of offers many are no longer accepting buyagift vouchers; have no availability in the next 8 months or only available from October till April or not available at all; no treatments at the hotel of choice. Feels like hard work, with lots of hidden criteria Lovely gift that we are having to plan to use next year but I wouldn't buy as a gift in the future. Chat helpline really helpful though X

Placed my order on July 19th and still haven't received my e-voucher! Unable to leave a message on the website So I left a message on Facebook. Was asked to confirm my e-mail address and now I wait! Thank goodness I buy my gift vouchers well in advance of the event!

Product didn’t arrive in time for a special Birthday. Waited ages to get through on the online chat. It cut out three times. When I did get through, he blamed Royal Mail, but did send another gift, although I haven’t received an email confirmation so who knows!

We have had a number of experiences from this company but after failing to get a booking with one experience (which was out of our control) the voucher expired. This company has no concept of goodwill and decided not to extend it. Will not use this company again!

OK if you are flexible with dates. Don't use if you have specific dates in mind as in my case the price doubled for the dates I wanted. I couldn't see anyway to check the price of certain dates before purchasing a voucher.

I went to book the hotel and couldn't find the dates I wanted? All it was coming up with were different hotels for which I had to pay another premium on top of what I'd already paid! I went to cancel through an online chat line and it took so long it kept timing me out. I gave up eventually and feel like I've spend £75 on nothing.. I'm still not sorted..

Before I booked my experience I wanted to find out if they did weekends or if it was just weekdays. Trying to find out this info seemed very difficult even using the chat room, twice whoever i was talking too the line dropped out. In the end I booked it for myself and two other people. But nothing came through until i chased it down. Then had to phone up MSV at Brands Hatch only to find that they only have two dates available which one of the people couldn't do and now have to wait two weeks before I can phone up again to see what other dates are available. Not a great experience so far, lets hope when we finally do the rally experience it makes up for it.

I ordered a gift to be delivered to the recipient's address, only for it to be delivered to mine? I am now going to have to pay postage again to get it delivered to the correct address. Not good enough, I double checked the recipient address, which was correct. ( why ask for a delivery address).

When I ordered the tea for two as a surprise present for my mum and dad, I ordered it on the 31/5 thinking they would receive it over the jubilee weekend I redeemed my voucher within the next couple of days and the only delivery date I could get was the 8/6 which was over a week after I ordered it . even after I paid extra for next day delivery and I’ve tried to contact them for the delivery money back but can’t get thought

Booking process was absolutely fine. However when went to the restaurant, we was not given the full menu choices. 2x items where not on menu and portion sizes was halved. I would have expected full portions sizes or at least advertised/ sold as half portions, otherwised would not have purchased.

Purchased and then tried to activate voucher. After signing up and putting voucher code and pin in several times came up with same message. Voucher not active . Sent email to buy a gift requesting help . No reply . 2 days later tried again and worked . Will not be placing more business in the future .

Buy a gift are not open & honest. My sister bought me a afternoon tea at the secret garden in Kensington. I tried to book it but it turns out that you cannot book June July or September, she had no idea of this. I rang buy a gift but the assistant cut me off because I did not respond quick enough. I am 63 & cannot type that quickly
