“Terrible Service. I placed my order on the 16th of February for a Snuzkot, and half of the shipment just arrived on the 17th of March! Apparently the other half of the crib is stuck in Netherlands. What makes it worse is I have been back and forth on the phone with DPD and the customer service, who seem to not care and have not done anything about the situation. DPD says there is problem with the shipment which is why it is stuck and that Bygee Bo should call to resolve and I can't get them to even call me back. So now I have half of a crib that I can't assemble and no one trying to solve my problem. Would never order from here again, nor recommend anyone to.”
“I’ve ordered Snuz kot from byggebo. Only part of the kot / order was delivered, also with incorrect parts. Customer service is not replying to emails either. Avoid!!”
“Shop was fine. Lots of nice products buuuut, I was automatically signed up to the newsletter at checkout (which I did not consent to), I called Bygge Bo a few days later to complain and was “unsubscribed”, yet I am still receiving marketing emails on a daily basis.
To make matters worse; I seem to be getting spam from other companies now too!”
“I ordered a baby bed from Bygge Bo on 27th June, and was informed it would take 3-4 weeks for it to get delivered. It arrived today, a day short of 8 weeks. Baby is coming any day not and worrying whether she'll have a bed to sleep in was not ideal. What really was a dissapointment was that Bygge Bo have not been interested in keeping me informed, I had to constantly enquire and pester. No solutions or commercial gestures were offered, which would be appropriate given the significant delay.”
“I'm frankly baffled about the service here. the wrong items got delivered (it happens) and I reached out to customer support. They first asked if I could drive to the store myself to swap the products. Not everyone own a car and for a family-oriented business you should know that travelling with babies/children isn't necessarily easy. But that's ok, I just ask if we could arrange a pick-up. They made me wait 3 days before setting up a DHL pick-up, and despite asking several times they never kept me informed about the details, so the courrier showed up suddenly in the middle of my meetings (lucky me I work from home). I gave the item back. Nonetheless, they wouldn't send the correct product before making sure the collection was done, making me sound as if I'd stole them when I'm the one who reached out in the first place to find an honest solution to this mess. It's now 10 days since the original order and I am *still* waiting to receive the items I payed for initially. A complete disgrace.”
“I ordered, 1 mattress, 1 bed extension, 1 mattress cover and 2 sheets on 1st week February.
It was only delivered on 22nd March and still 1 sheet was missing in the package, which was refunded in the end because there is no stock.
Took so long to receive my purchase and still did not receive everything.”
“Sent me the wrong product and tried to make it my problem asking me to go out of my way to drive to Sandy ford or post it back. Agreed to finally send the correct product to me and arrange a “one time” collection on this occasion. Ridiculous given the problem was caused my themselves. I wouldn’t buy again.”
“I placed an order 8th of January for an order that was not in stock. It said that it would come between 4 to 6 weeks. Its been 9 weeks and I still dont have my order, I am very dissapointed and unhappy. Mainly because the order I placed is a crib for my baby, which the old one she grew out of”
“Ordered a stokke high chair for collection in the Navan store. On day of pick up I couldn’t find the shop because it is a completely unmarked premises. There was no answer from the phone number attached to the store. I rang the branch in BSQ who gave me directions.
On collection, I was told the item I had ordered wasn’t available because of a online discrepancy.
Overall, the products I ordered are great but are not unique to byggebo. Would not recommend using this shop”
“Beautiful items, but no packaging when posted so my item arrived damaged. I was told to come to store to replace it, when I did they told me it was out of stock. Waste of time and a disappointing experience. Would not return or recommend”
“Extremely poor service. I wouldn’t recommend to any family or friend. I bought a gift for a friend and was given mis information about time of delivery. Very slow to reply to emails and no calls answered. Poor customer service.”
“First of all, wooden details of the changing table that I bought came damaged, but I had no time to deal with it so decided to keep it.
Second of all, the amount of details and manual to the changing table does not correspond to parcel content.”
“Delivery took over a month and half to arrive as it was lost by dpd. I wrote 3 times to ask for a refund as I urgently needed the funds but this was refused. Dpd confirmed that the package was lost and rather than refund the order as I repeatedly requested, the order was reprossed and sent again. So almost
2 months after the original order I am still without a refund. I now need to find an opportunity to drive the new package to the post office and wait for it to be returned and a refund to be processed. I likely will not have this money before Christmas. So disappointed with this service and the customer experience. Angry and sad that my money is still not returned and feel there must be a law preventing this”
“If I could rate a 0 star for this company, I would. It’s a shame that the products in this store is beautiful but customer service and delivery was terrible! I had to remind them to send my order after weeks of waiting and then there was another order where a wrong product sent across to me and it took another 2 weeks (still waiting) for them to send the correct product! The person who I have been dealing with is not exactly the most proactive either and have waited to pick up the wrong product before sending the correct order out, making excuses etc. I most definitely won’t be a returning customer. There are better Irish companies out there like Josh & Jenna and Bellababy. Much more trustworthy and efficient when it comes to customer service.”
“Terrible. The flimsy packaging on my product broke because they cello taped it to the delivery box. They refused to exchange it because the product was ‘damaged’ even though it was just the cellophane that had broke and the product was completely fine. There was no way for me to remove it from the box without the package breaking, so if anyone caused the damaged it was them when packaging it, not me. I had to make the 2 hour round trip to the store to return it but when I got there the lady said they can’t take it back because they can’t resell with broken cellophane, so it is I who must incur the financial loss not the company. Don’t understand the companies stance on this as was a return customer and someone who would have spent more over the years at this store if I’d had reasonable treatment and outcome.”
