Carfax Buyback Is A Joke

“Well, carfax helped me to stay away from the vehicle in my story. I saw a vehicle an individual was selling, on the side if the road. They always have something out there for sale, so I thought I would stop. It had it's share of wear, but I wasn't worried, as it was gonna be something I expected to get possibly more dings, from the use I had planned. The price was negotiable, a little high for blue book value, but I wasn't worried. So I decided to do my research on it. Did a 1 time car fax report, it showed that it was in a wreck a couple months prior, and that it was 'totaled', and now had a salvage title. The current owner/seller tried telling me there was no issue, that it had a clean title, and even tried selling it to me for over the KBB value, if it wasn't salvaged. The report told me the value was basically negative what they were asking. Well needless to say, the seller ended our conversation on the phone very soon after I mentioned that I did do my research, and found out that they were frauds. Thanks CARFAX.”

“Carfax has been a great help and a complete protection from buying cars that looked good and even passed a mechanical inspection but had accidents and probably structural damage that might cause problems in the future.”

“Ive been looking for a Mazda 3 hatchback. I found 2008 That was beautiful black car but to good to be true so I run a CARFAX turns out the car was totaled it doesn't have the correct knowledge mileage and seems to be an issue with the title of the vehicle. I was so glad I ran the CARFAX report on this car. Yeah you could say that this save me a huge headache too think that I was going to purchase a vehicle that looks amazing but was obviously riddled with problems. Thank you CARFAX.”

“If i had not used carfax i would have purchased a car with previous accidents. Fortunately i purchased a carfax bundle reviewed accident history, actual miles on the car, maintenance and repairs over the vehicle. However, though the buldle is useful i felt it is pretty expensive”

“car fax is the best thing ever happened in car industry! but there is always a way to cheat a customer! i fined out that 2-3 years old cars after lease have odometor roll back! i m a pro about cars and can tell this problem with 98% accuracy. car fax, what can you do about it?”

“i was about to buy a volvo whose mileage was around 78k. it seemed to be a pretty good deal but when i checked the car fax, i found out it had 4 accidents. Another experience that i had with car fax was that i found out the car i was interested in was a total loss vehicle.”

“Dealer was telling me about a "great" car coming in. I got the VIN and ran it through CarFax and found out it had been in a collision. Needless to say I passed on that vehicle. Thanks CarFax!!!”

“I wanted to buy a truck that was older but still had some years for hauling household items from time to time. First, that says I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Second, it says I need it to last. Knowing CARFAX is connected to insurance and police records I thought spending a few dollars to help me make that choice could save me money by not buying a known problem. I found a great truck and found that it had been in a little altercation. That gave me a heads up on what to look for. I also saw records of service and mileage all of which helped me make a decision. Unless you are a mechanic I don't see how this service isn't one of the best investments you can make.”

“Very easy to use amd sign up and the way the car fax report is laid out it makes it really easy to find what your looking for. It is a little bit on the pricey side tho maybe you should have more payment plans yo choose from rather than that 5 stars.”

“Well, i bought a car showing a clean car fax report, no accident no problems at all, all the miles reasonably done, but then it came out that the engine was a junk's one!!! I am so disappointed about that.”

“After searching for months for the right car, we finally thought that we found one, but after running a Carfax we discovered that the vehicle had the wrong mileage disclosed. Carfax saved us from a lot of headache. We decided to get the unlimited Carfax package since it was so helpful and discovered countless issues on several cars that we were looking at from emission control failure, to flood damage, to severe maintenance issues that we were able to avoid all due to Carfax. We now recommend Carfax to all of of family and friends interested in purchasing a vehicle. We will never buy a car without running a Carfax again. No one thinks it will happen to them. You could end up spending lots of money, wasting time and end up with someone else's problems. We were hesitant about spending the money on a Carfax report but Carfax helped us avoid those issues, which was more than worth it to us.”

“Carfax is really a must have if you are buying a high end luxury sports vehicle! I was searching for a particular car and after looking and doing research for several months I realized a car HISTORY would be most valuable in my assessment process as I was doing a nationwide search for a vehicle that was a very limited production (approximately 400 per year over the 3 year production span I was considering) With the help of car fax I found it easy to dismiss some cars out of hand due to their history. This enabled me to whittle down the selection to just a few cars which I then paid dealers to inspect. Bottom line I got a very rare Mercedes CL55 amg Designo mocha black (so far one of only 3 known to exist) and with the carfax info I felt very confident that this new purchase will be great based on the reported service history and guaranteed buy back protection offered. Thanks a lot!”
