I asked a lady to give me a quote for two rooms she seemed to be unaware of the vinyls I had seen in the show room but said she would call me back with an estimate which she didn’t I called next day left a message for her and was told by her colleague that she would call and again no call back Thoroughly Unprofessional it’s little wonder the store is going under

Called into Carpet Right a few days ago.Blackpool Cherry Tree Rd Branch.Needed advice on re flooring and re carpeting my Mothers flat. Was advised by Kath who was extremely helpful and efficient.

Carpetright are very sales driven, expensive for what they sell, and have a practice to try not to reimburse customers under any circumstances where they're at fault. Be careful with their wood samples as it may be significantly different to the product that you receive when delivered; they will want you to accept it anyway and resist any request for refund!

Carpet right recently made my shopping experience easy, also providing a great after-sales service. Would happily recommend. Shout out to Marie, Hermiston Gait branch in Edinburgh who provided the second to none service.

The initial experience at the shop was positive, as was the gentleman who came out for the survey. However the process when we were ready for fitting was difficult, culminating in the shop arranging a time and date for the final fitting to be done without the courtesy of contacting us to see if it was convenient for us. By this time we were fed up so just adjusted our plans to get it done. Adding to our disappointment in the experience were the marks left on our newly decorated walls and the fact that we paid for 21 linear metres of grippers even through the most of original existing grippers were used. He used no more than 4 metres. I am also astonished that no receipts are offered by fitters organised by carpetright. Will not use carpetright again.

Service was terrible, fitters were terrible and the carpet looks like a dishcloth now, very very poor quality. Carpet fitters were supposed to arrive at 9am (I was told I was the first fitting of the day) but did not turn up until after 5pm. Phoned Carpetright several times but they just kept saying they are on their way. The fitters damaged one of the doors and left leaving everything in a state, took me over 2 hours to clean up after them. Complained to Carpetright about the damaged door but they would not do anything about it. Will never ever buy anything from Carpetright again and would certainly not recommen them to anybody because of the extremely poor service and the quality of the carpets.

Purchased out carpet from the Haverfordwest Branch. Clearly CarpetRight do not want to take any responsibility for the shocking customer service that I have received over the past two weeks. As a company you have caused my partner and I a great deal of unwanted stress which has resulted in us losing out on a day of annual leave due to taking it off on the 06/08/2019 when quite clearly it states that was the day of fitting. Safe to say that I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and as a result will never purchase a product from your company again and will recommend that no one uses your Haverfordwest branch due to this. Your management within the store need retraining with regards to their professional conduct and general customer service. It would appear that they are quick enough to take the customers money but cannot be bothered to provide future customer service and do not admit to being the ones in the wrong. Highly recommend anyone to leave this company alone. Escalated issues to The Customer Service centre who reply using idiot board emails and Regional Managers who don’t have a back bone to contact the customer and establish all of the facts. Clear evident provided of the fitting date yet we as the customer are still made out to be the liars. Leave them well alone!!!!

Newbury store let me down several times which was followed by extremely poor customer service, or lack of. Went to downs carpets who provide excellent service and went over and above to provide me with purchase and service - well worth paying more to avoid being let down

Just terrible, all the carpets were cut on the short side, so all have pulled out at the doorways and frayed. All the carpets have come away from the webbed backing, so they all move and rustle when walked on, and have wrinkles and creases in them all. The manager from our local store visited, took photo`s and declared all the carpets are a direct result of the manufactures supplying a faulty carpet roll. That was it, nothing replaced, no compensation, never heard from him again. Over £2,000 it cost us in carpet and underlay. I would never, ever, ever, use Carpetwrong again. The sooner they go bust and close all the stores the better, so people can use proper independent carpet shops that actually supply what you pay for, and not waste their money like we have. Shocking

Great people in the shop,,, They have an issue with the 3rd party fitters. I experienced an aggressive one, sort it out carpet right,, you just lost yourself another customer

Sales side of things was good. Fitting excellent. After sales was appalling. I am still owed a £12 refund as had to change the door bar prior to fitting. Even this too k me two visits to the store and a telephone call as I had no faith in them, I have given up now!! The staff in store, Eltham branch, were useless at sorting out my refund, I wonder how many people they do this to. Based on the after sales service I won’t be using carpet right again. Off to purchase another bedroom and hall stairs and landing carpet from another provider.

We recently had our lounge fitted with wooden flooring , this was purchased from the Cambridge store. Chas arrived on time and was very knowledgeable , and such a friendly guy to have around. He took great proud in his work and the flooring was fitted to perfection , it was obvious he really wanted us to be happy with his work and we certainly were .

Purchased carpet in the TALLAGHT store. The young lady Nicola was a delight to deal with. We went in to look at bedroom carpet and ended up buying Floor covering for the whole house and not only for bedroom and stairs landing she actually stayed late too we were much obliged as I had just finished work late. This girl explained everything in detail that both my wife and I could understand. She’s actually quiet humorous and funny girl we felt very at ease with her. You have a diamond there Carpetright TALLAGHT look forward to seeing the finished results.

New Malden store. Absolutely shocking experience, which is still ongoing. Ordered carpet over a month ago. Had a delivery date and call on the day from the fitters with time to attend, only then to be called by the store to advise that they didn’t have the carpet. I explained that they needed to make another appointment when they had the carpet, so that this didn’t happen again. I had to call them over a week later to book a appointment for today, only to be called yesterday afternoon to cancel again because the carpet wasn’t available. I spoke to the deputy manager to explain that I wanted a call from the manager. He said that he would get him to call me ASAP, I called them today, as I hadn’t heard from the manager, only to be told that he is on holiday until Monday. Communication atrocious and customer service even worse.

AVOID THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Bought a lounge/dining-room carpet, had it fitted and it all looked great for 3 or four years. Then we had a dip in the carpet develop that was 2 inches wide and 3 feet long. Unfortunately we mislaid the original paperwork so decided to just replace the carpet and underlay through a local company. It was then we discovered that the “carpet Fitters”?? had not only left a two inch by three foot gap in the underlay, they also used a mixture of different size pieces of underlay to cover the floor. If this is normal practice please let me know. I won’t be using them again and can not recommend them.

If by good luck you are reading this review BEFORE placing an order with Carpetright, please do yourself a huge favour and find a local independent contractor instead. I would not wish the stress and hassle we have experienced on anyone. Short story - I’m sitting at home for the fourth time with all my furniture dismantled waiting for a fitter to turn up and no-one can get hold of him. Already been through dispute resolution after first three missed appointments, but still don’t have my carpets 4 months after they were paid for and not looking forward to another night with no furniture and a mattress on the floor.

Customer service with Carpet is terrible, my carpet arrived damaged, I was lied to by Carpetright manager about the carpet arriving damage, fitters are incompetent and uncaring if they damage property, they will not compensate for redecorating paintwork to skirting, a nail was left under the carpet, damage to stairs while fitting carpet, manager at Bedford store is arrogant and unprofessional, customer service head office are inexperienced and uncaring of customers complaints, I will never use this company again, is it any wonder why so many stores closed down, not surprised after my experience with this company, and not long before they all close down, customer service aftercare is terrible.

Had a very disgusting experience having a medical condition we ask this company to lay our bathroom floor and have done a shocking job after 3 times of coming out claim its to do with water from the bath not letting it settle all folding and creased and bubbled up and they have only offered a tester to come out
