“Joke of a company! Customer service is quick answering, polite but utterly useless. I only ordered a laptop bag for it to never arrive and various calls and emails to be told, it'll be with you tomorrow, I'll get straight back to you (never did) or it'll be with you in 3days very latest Friday. To then call up after 18days to be told it still hadn't been despatched.
If you can't provide something don't sell it, simple as really.
Seems common with these if your item is stocked you'll get it. If it ain't then good luck cause you'll need it with these jokers.”
“Selling stock with next-day delivery plus a premium for the delivery costs then reveal that they have no stock to deliver. Unfortunately, you have to find this out yourself by chasing up your order.
The resolution is a promise of a call back in 48 hours to address the issue, which is 72 hours after I should have had the kit and no good to me.”
“CCL had some nVidia 3060 Ti cards in stock. Not cheap at £600, but the alternative was a complete new rig, which would be circa £2k.
Ordered on Saturday. Paid for next day delivery. Card was with me at midday on Sunday.

They deducted the money and I thought 'Well alright, they've taken the money that means they must have it in stock, now we wait for it to come' Next day, get an email saying that they don't have it and will refund me within 7 days! “I ordered a graphics card from ccl as a Christmas gift for my son it was a 5700xt powercolor it worked until start of March in which time I had to rma the item. Received the email saying they had received it and that they had ordered another for me, 6 weeks later still nothing heard so I messaged them and received a bland answer of if I’m nope happy I can have a refund, I didn’t want a refund I had bought this item while it was on deal I know I can’t afford to replace it again for the same price. Now three months down the line still heard nothing so messaged again and again received an email saying I’m having a refund tough luck, in three months of wait i had to chase this issues while my son has been without a card thinking Ccl will sort this out or at least offer a different card but i was offered nothing, totally hdisappointed in their customer service skills bland emails with no care in the world about the person at the other end and no contact to know what’s happening with my item, last time me or anyone I know will buy from Ccl.”
“Disgraceful service. took £1700 from my account for a pc build. then sent a poorly written half arsed email without so much as a sorry, stating your order has been cancelled, our accounts team will arrange a refund which can take 7 days (usually takes 2weeks). I had to call them to find out why and listen to some guys long winded excuses. its bad enough having to deal with a website with a user interface direct from the 90s that puts large orders through without checking stock.”
“I have been using CCL for 10 years now.
I decided I needed a new PC recently, and due to the lack of GPU's right now, and me being very specific about what I wanted inside my new PC i contacted CCL.
The guy was very helpful and told me to email them the exact specs and they would quote me a price that included assembley.
This seems the only way to get an RTX30** right now.
I recieved the quote and after adding up the parts value It looked like I would be paying around £100 for CCL to build the PC for me (this includes 3 year warranty).
I accepted the quote and transfered the payment to them (this is the only way to pay for a build that is not listed on the website)
Received a call a few days later. There was a compatibility issue with the case and cooler i had chosen.
(Lewis) patiently sat on the phone offering multiple options for me to look at. Also checking with the guys who assemble the PC to see if one or another alterative would work.
Finally we had something that i was happy with and my order was revised and sent to me.
The customer service there was 'above and beyond'.
They dispatched my PC on the Friday afternoon and I received it Saturday morning. (Saturday DPD delivery)
I cant fault the build quality of this PC. All the wiring is neatly wrapped and routed and fixed in place. A much better job than I would have made of it.
It arrived set up in Bios to the memory I had selected (4000Mhz) so no messing around needed.
They preinstalled windows on the drive (free) for me so all i had to do was buy a liecence key to fully activate.
It came with all the spare cables and parts that were not used in the build. (PSU cables, SATA cables, spacers brackets ect from the parts boxes).
3 year warranty
Inspection sheet showing all the testing that had been carried out before dispatch.
Really cant fault the service and quality of work i received.
Seems like people only post bad reviews on these sites.
Just remember all the satisfided customers who dont feel the need to post a review when everything goes as expected.”

I bought a asus on 8th March 2021 Laptop which came in good time, on going back on the site i noticed within 2 days of purchase that they had reduced the price by almost £10. I Emailed Kristian Newbury but said there was nothing they could do on the price being reduced. Just wanted to warn purchasers to look around to see if companies give a price match first. I bought this as my grandson needs it for schooling and his parents have been on furlough bit sad to say you buy and within 2 days it reduces in price, makes you think if anything goes wrong what sort of service will you get. Buy from a local business ? seems you are better from price match suppliers or somewhere else you may get a better deal.”
“Bought 2 kits of RAM a few months back along with a few other items. Built a system from it all and all was going fine. Errors started happening and after a few tests and removing 1 kit of RAM everything was working fine again. Tested the problematic kit in my othe 2 builds and the same happened, errors, crashes and freezes. Clearly this kit of RAM is faulty, sent them an email, they offered an RMA, and less than 24 hours after receiving the kit back, theyve deemed them faultless and are sending them back. They have clearly got a botched RMA process because this RAM kit was failing while doing anything on the system they were installed in, seems like they install them, boot up the system and deem them perfect because they can boot up windows. Ive told them that i'll be recording myself installing the kit and proving the errors happen then making an official complaint until I get my money back. I would have been happy with a replacement, but not I want my money back. Never again am I choosing this company.”

“Although they are a big company and do stand by their promises, one thing really annoyed me, and that's their RMA policy for graphics cards. My card was faulty so instead of replacing it, they refunded me without telling me. Card prices are shooting up and i now have to pay more for the same card, as well as wait for limited stock, and hope that i'm lucky enough to get one in the basket! i tried 8 times (across 8 different days) to try and get one measly graphics card, only to be the unlucky one with a faulty card. I told them to hold my money and just send me a card when they're in stock but no, they dont do that. I told them fine, put me on a high priority list as i've already bought one and should be eligible for first pick since my one was faulty, but no, they don't do that. So i guess customer satisfaction isn't a priority even though it's not costing them money! Absolutely annoyed with this company and how they treated me, i've used them since 2012 and have never experienced this kind of treatment before!”

Sat 30 Jan ordered computer parts.
While their prices are very competitive and their ordering system very efficient, sadly that is where it stops. If you need to change an order due to their due dates not being met then you have to contact support by phone (they don’t advertise the number unless you ask for it) or chat then you are in for a rough ride. Their support staff cannot check stock levels, don’t have a clue about component compatibility and can only pass you the the support team. They can then take 24-48 hours to process the enquiry during which time the item(s) could be out of stock again. They also do not volunteer that you can change the order yourself (could have saved me half an hour) but if you do this you cannot order the goods because it will try to charge you the full amount again, in my case £530!!.
Also something that is disgusting is that the chat transcript is not sent to you after the conversation, so you do not know what info has been passed to the next person and might need to go through it all again. I know from reviews that CCL can deliver the goods if they are in stock (but their stock system is not accurate) but if you do have a problem then you are in for a long wait. As someone who has spent over £100K professionally buying IT equipment over the years I cannot recommend them as I have had vastly better service from their equally keenly priced competitors. I will not be using them again, its not how you deal with 95% of customers that counts, it is the 5% who need support that judges where my money goes.
On Monday 8th Feb which was at the end of the 48 hr period with no progress I contact them on chat and ask for the sales team phone number by phone and after 11 mins and 55 seconds they tell me I can pay the balance by PayPal and they can process the order as per the email instructions. I tell them I have not received the email and it is sent and received within a minute and I action that process.
The day after I receive my motherboard, ram and SSD, yay!
Then on 25th Feb 2021 CCL Computers send me an email stating “Thanks for registering your interest in the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 8GB Overclocked Graphics Card (ROG-STRIX-GTX1660S-O6G-GAMING).
We are pleased to let you know that we now have stock available for this item ready to order/reserve via our website.“
I get through to support again only to be told to ring the sales line? (Why do they have a support chat again?)
Of course I immediately ring within 5 minutes of getting the email and they are all gone!

“selling items not in stock, communication is non existent, I had to chase my order spending hours messaging and calling only to be told, this part is not in stock, then after the eta for deliver has passed I call again to be told oh sorry now this part is not in stock. the best bit though is when I call for the last time they want to replace the pc case (ATX support) for an micro ATX case. I I have to inform an apparent PC builder that a ATX motherboard will not fit in a micro ATX case. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”
