The charger was well fitted and has worked as expected. My concern was over the support the installer had from BP Chargemaster. He hadn't fitted many before and hadn't had the supervision he expected. Rather than the up to half day expected for installation (and that I had booked off work) it took the full day. This was inconvenient and if I didn't work closeby/ had understanding management would have been a real problem.

I am very happy with my hybrid rechargeable car. Bp charge master are very helpful. They help through any confusion. The grant to install needs improvement. But that’s not there fault.

Initial admin organisation was really poor. Wasted time waiting at home for 2 appointments that never showed. Only positive was the guy who finally installed charge point. He was very professional and efficient.

Essential piece of kit for electric car. One of several providers. Directed to Chargemaster by Nissan. Initially very clear communication. Subsequently became blurred and a little confusing when communication was required with local power network. All communication between network (Western power distribution) and chargemaster needed to go through me when it appeared it would have been easier if they had talked to one another directly. Initial installation date missed as a result. When eventual installation occurred installer was punctual, polite, communicative and tidy - truly excellent.

All handled very well, from the office and the Engineer. Engineer Joe was great. arrived bang on time didi a great job very clean and very thorough. All working well on my new car Many thanks

Absolutely hopeless. Zero communication from Chargemaster staff, no response to phone calls or e-mails. Needed the intervention of Renault UK to get an installation date organised. Surveyor gave wrong advice that necessitated additional electrical works in excess of £1,000.

It took ages to get a survey done, then once it was done it took ages to get the installation agreed. Finally they gave me 3 different dates (they didn't realise this was what they were doing - chaos). Once that was sorted out the engineer came and fitted it and as soon as he left switches started tripping all over the house every time we put a load on them, even without the car plugged into the charger. The office gave me a date two months ahead to fix the problem. Luckily, I was able to get hold of the engineer the next day and he offered to come back, which he did, without the office knowing. He started remedial measures but when his boss rang me up to respond to my complaint, not knowing the engineer was here, it turned out he was doing the wrong thing. So he had to start again. In the end it works fine now. But it was like dealing with the general post office before privatisation. Like they were doing me a favour. I was left with little confidence. Hopefully I won't have to deal with them again. They also sold me a charger lead I didn't need because it comes with the vehicle, and wouldn't take it back.

It seemed to take ages for the paperwork to be sorted out. The engineer that fitted the charger was very neat and seemed very knowledgeable and competent.

When attaching the charger to my garage wall the engineer drilled right through to the external side and large bits of brick flaked off. He tried to fix it back on the way with silicone gel, but it looked terrible. BP Chargemaster agreed to pay for the repair to my wall, but when the second engineer attended he did move the charger, but - despite having been clearly told that these bricks still needed to be changed - attached the junction box (which sits below the charger) to one of the damaged bricks. I did receive an apology but no offer of compensation for the stress and trouble that i was caused. The charger does work properly, but BP Chargemaster needs to get the simple things right.

Whole process took far too long . When I phoned I was never able to speak to my sales adviser and no one else would deal with my enquiries, despite the fact that they could all see the details on the system.

Took far too long to install the charger if I had bought a car without the ability to charge directly from the mains I would have been months without the use of the car. Every time I spoke to someone felt like the beginning of the conversation not the continuation. A poor service

Organising this installation was very problematic and took over three months. The staff arranging the installation do not appear to understand the technical constraints. I also had problems with my calls not being returned. The installer was brilliant.
