The wallbox was installed yesterday by Mike Becket. This engineer was very competent and tidy and carried out all the necessary checks, cleaning up as he moved about. I got proper installation certificates but was surprised to receive no instruction manual. I did not, at that time, know about the 'App' but have not been able to complete installation of it on my smartphone as a dialogue box said my email address was invalid. I emailed Chargemaster's customer service address but am not hopeful of receiving any help. I will use my car's (Nissan Leaf 2019) charge timing facility. The processes up to the actual installation were completed satisfactorily. If it was not for the apparent indifference regarding the BP Chargemaster App I would have given 5 stars. I've charged the car only once so far and that worked fine.

The equipment is good but not the neatest of installations. Unfortunately I was not present when it was wired and positioned. The cable leading to the charger unit slightly covers an air vent, At the meter end entering the house only one clip secures this to the wall. I suspect the installing electrician was looking to use as little materials as possible rather than providing the neatest job.

The actual installation was very good however the lead up to this was poor as I had to complete the submission form three times as it kept expiring. I had 3 different case handlers and there was no-one able to talk through the whole process from start to finish. A very fragmented structure and process.

The pre installation system is appauling. I installed another EV charger with another company in 7 days and in that time I was still sending BP information.

Extremely happy decided to go with BP Chargemaster for home EV Charger, had to upgrade home electrics prior to fitting, Ali at Chargemaster was just great, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, and guided me through everything required. The engineer arrived on the agreed day for fitting, sorry I forget his name, and got straight to it and got the charger fitted and working in what seemed like no time at all despite my questions and blethering, the charger itself is a great looking and easy to use piece of kit, decided to get the tethered version. Definitely a 5 star service from BP Chargemaster, thanks to all and will have no hesitation in recommending.

My goodness what a muddle this organisation is! Administratively, it is appalling and the right hand certainly is completely unaware of what the left hand is up to!! There have been so many issues that I couldn't possibly list them here. It was an immensely frustrating experience but fortunately, the person who fitted the unit was excellent and did a great job thereby saving this company from a 1 star review.

Terrible service from a supposedly blue chip company. My details from an initial survey were lost by BP and I had to call every day to chase and try to rebook a new appointment. Eventually I got a new survey date and the (very nice) fella who came along said about fitting the charger that day as I had already done all the hard work (dropping conduit underground/laying cable in concrete floor/constructing metal post for charger unit and concreting into ground) I still do not understand how the price went from the original quoted price of £350 to £450, but it’s in now and all I hope is that the unit is more reliable than BP.

Nothing wrong with the outcome or the equipment... which we are very happy with. I found the business process that administers the installation very frustrating and inefficient; BP Chargemaster insist on progressing all the pre-installation work/discussions remotely via their call centre (sending pictures, technical discussions on the pros and cons of different wiring configurations etc.) rather than allow their installation man (who was excellent) to visit the property and agree the scope/nature of the installation face to face. A 15 minute visit in advance of the actual installation would have saved me a lot of time and stress. To be clear this feedback is for the people responsible for the business process to encourage them to introduce some flexibility! All the people who I interacted with were curious and helpful; and the installation man was excellent.
