The installation was very good, however getting to that point was quite difficult. I got different emails from different people and poor information which ended up with a delay in the process.

After a poor start at initial booking when the emphasis was not on customer needs the service thereafter was excellent. BP were the only company who worked within the range of grant funding available and soon rectified the customer service issue with good advice and telephone support. Installation was exactly as described on time and well explained overall a 'good experience' and excellent value.

Shame that the installation date got mixed up, but the installation went smoothly, engineer arrived on time, and the chargepoint was fitted neatly

The charge point is fine and does what it says on the tin. The installer was a bit messy though and left rubbish behind. The app could be better as I keep getting duplicate records for my charge sessions; I’ve raised a fault for this. In terms of the charge point itself, it would be good to be able to lock the cable in place at the charge point end so that it can’t be unplugged.

Since the home charger was installed the car has failed to charge 3 times now and I have to reset the unit every time. I called your helpline yesterday and was advised a technician would call me the same day. Still waiting for a call from the technician.

The unit was fitted with out any fuss and the engineer was very helpful and polite and explained how to use the unit.

Mainly a good experience - there is a bewildering amount of form filling, which would be a barrier for some people! Chap (Scott) who installed the equipment was very good.

its great if your home has the right ampage otherwise you have to sort that yourself which was something we were unaware of so check first otherwise a fast efficient service!!!!!

The charger works well but the app is useless as is the Chargevision portal. The latter is difficult to log in to and both are not much use for tracking usage accurately for accounting purposes. Hard work!

The pre-installation visit and the installation itself was handled well by Chargemaster’s subcontractor. Communication with Chargemaster was generally good, with the exception of their failing to inform me of a law change until 2 weeks before this came into force, meaning my original system order could not be fulfilled. The law change had been announced 6 months previously. Having opted for a smart ‘socketed ‘ unit, I was told that I had to pay an extra £179 for a cable to connect my car to the unit. This only became apparent at the time of installation, obviously the charging unit without a cable is useless. Now the unit is in place I’m happy with it and it works fine, it just cost me twice as much as I was expecting.

After a lots of twoing and frowing regarding pictures etc, finally got installed, carried out very well, but I have requested access to the SmartCharge app but as yet I have not received the details of a username or password to access, would really like to get that sorted please?

The Chargemaster itself works well (Very Good), however the associated App is appalling and simply doesn't work. Full of bugs and prevents you controlling the Chargemaster device. It also doubles up on the charges and costs in 'History' and makes charges up? Finally, the App requires you to put the password in every time rather that face recognition or saved passwords. Come on BP, please sort this out!
