Was allocated a dedicated customer advisor and told the charger would take two weeks to fit. It actually took 8 weeks and many hours on the phone + emails and had to chase for communication and then no replies. Spoke to many different people and was given contradictory information. I was asked to fill in the Annex D form 5 times (completed it 4 times). The office staff were badly organised, messages were not passed on (or recipient did not reply) and staff not aware of what options were available. Installation work was "fair" at the very best and not quality. The only positive experience was the installation inspector corrected the original installation to leave me a quality installation. Would not recommend to others. Had to purchace a granny charging lead as it was impractical trying to keep my new car charged using public charging points.

Service throughout was very attentive and the installation guy was excellent. A pleasure to work with and sadly uncommon for most service providers

Having no help from car salesman as to charging at home, I did research on the web. Everything pointed to BP Chargemaster. Did all that was asked for online e.g. photos. and then spoke to one of the ladies from installation and agreed a date. Next day the lady rang again with an earlier date which was wonderful. Did not get a text from fitter as it says in the paperwork but he did arrive on time . He was very helpful with the positioning of the charger, and once satisfied he started. He did not seem to stop for a break or calls on the phone like a lot of tradesmen I have had, and in 4 hours was up and running ready to charge my new car. As for my car salesman he rings me asking who I used to fit the charger so that he could recommend .

The original installation date was missed but a card was issued to give us free top-ups but the nearest available point was eleven miles away, better than nothing. The charge point is working with only minor hiccups on my first couple of charges

I found the actual booking process through the call centre rather clumsy. Although the call centre staff were polite and cheery, and relayed information, follow up calls were slightly confusing and it wasn’t really all clear if the installation would be within limits. The electrician on the day was great. Alan worked really hard to make the installation neat, tidy and came up with great solutions to cause as little issues as possible. Overall a worthwhile investment and all was done well in the end.

I had a car charge unit installed in our garage 19th July 2019 by Chargemaster which failed when the engineer demonstrated it and he got it to start charging after adjusting a wire in the box.and left saying it would be OK. When I tried to charge the next day it failed and from that day onward I have been continually contacting them and given many job numbers but it is now several weeks and I have not managed one single charge with the unit I have to charge elsewhere. Today has been a typical day where I have called and been told it is in hand but I do not feel very confident. I certainly will not recommend BPChargemaster

Appalling service, I had to write to the MD at his home address to finally get the charge point fitted!! The frontline employees I encountered across the board were rude and uninterested in helping until I went to the MD. once I had done this the personnel I spoke to were helpful and understanding, ultimately the charge point was fitted, clearly proving what ridiculous load of drama we had to go through not being able to charge our new vehicle up for weeks was!! In my view you need someone with common sense overseeing the employees on the point end, there seems to be s massive gulf between management (good) and sales (appalling beyond belief, all of them I encountered). I’m pretty sure deep down your own management can see this on s daily basis? If they can’t I would be go smacked?!

The actual installation was well executed. Some of the initial conversations proved disjointed and seemed to show a detailed lack of knowledge on occasions. Staff were however always polite and clearly were trying to help.

Chargemaster unit installed professionally. Cabling mostly hidden to preserve high quality brickwork at front of house. Shame information on taking up contract to access charging points in UK and France is proving difficult to get and understand. Charge master are missing an opportunity to secure EV customers.

Smartcharge app has never worked after 10 days of trying. Called helpline numerous times with no fix known. Also had to reset system at fuse box twice in 8 days.
