The whole process from order to install was very well managed by Stephen, who ensured that the OLEV grant documentation was completed and the install well planned. The electrician, Souhail, arrived precisely on time and carried out an excellent install, exactly as we had wanted. He was highly professional, extremely courteous and friendly, with the operation of the unit clearly explained on completion. We are very happy with the result.

Wow, so many 5-star reviews- like giving a 13A socket a 5-start review for powering up the TV. This is SUPPOSED to be a smart charger... did any of the reviewers actually try the app? I was given an installation date and contacted by the installer on the evening before. They didn't turn up. Called in and was told that the system showed the installation as 'postponed' and could not explain why. All they could offer was to go to the back of the installation queue and wait again... A day or so after installation, I got access to the online portal and a mobile app. Honestly can say that the app is an utter disaster. (just look at the reviews on appstore for the smartcharge app... I would add screenshots from the APP but, randomly they have used security settings to disable screenshots????). (1) basic functionality is just confusing. It will tell you your car is connected when it isn't and the reverse. It will tell you that the vehicle is connected but the charger is not. (2) it does not indicate if the car has completed charging. It just tells you that it is plugged in, then you have to look at 'history' to see how long it has been connected for x hours/mins. (3) Schedules- well, they are just confusing. (4) EVERY time you open the app you have to type your password in. There is no setting to stay logged in with a fairly secure password this is a TOTAL PAIN. (5) The design is like a 12yr old student has put it together- the menu only appears on the 'account' page and no other. The 'help text' is far from helpful, the FAQ doesn't address the problem, it makes it worse. Just read the text on the screenshot for an example. Customer service are rapid but vacuous, with responses like, sorry it doesn't support that at the moment.

Lots of communication prior to installation and on the day the electrician Mohammed called before arrival. Did a very good and tidy job installing the charge point where we wanted it. All good.

The whole process has been very simple even during the Covid 19 pandemic. Glen Noulton that fitted my unit was excellent and was very professional and cleaned up once finished. I am very happy with the service I have received from BP Chargemaster

Whilst installationwas delayed due to the lockdown, once rescheduled the job as done very quickly. The technician was polite and quite efficient. The unit itself has been sparingly used but appears to do "exactly what it says on the tin".

Efficient service with the charging unit installed with skill and understanding. Quite a complex bunch of forms needed to get the government grant and ensure all is safe but Chargemaster were very helpful in explaining this and did most of the ‘heavy lifting’ in my behalf. A grwat company with a skilled caring team!

I am very satisfied with the installation. Ardis, the engineer called me before he arrived and explained to me the options available. He completed the job very neatly and quite quickly. He was very courteous and observed all the social distancing regulations. It didn't cost me anything extra. I am very pleased with my selection of the ev charging unit and will have no hesitation to reccommend your company to my friends. Thanks.
