“We had a leak!! After months of phone calls and emails we finally got it repaired. We were told on several occasions that we would get compensation for all the stress and upset that was caused, again have sent letters and emails regarding this and have had no response. When the work was done we were left with black marks on our new conservatory blinds and black bootmarks on our carpet. Workman had no consideration or respect for our property. The 10 year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. Be aware this company is ok on the surface but when you dig deeper absolutely useless and as for customer service department, there isn't one. GOOD LUCK”

“This is the second review I have done, as I am still waiting to have my roof fixed, where they initially did a poor job, lied about what time the man was coming to fix it. When he came, he said he couldn't do it on his own, after walking on my new rug with filthy boots! Then customer service rang and asked me to take the review down, which I said I would once I had a satisfactory job done. After several more calls, Charlotte finally set up a date for it to be done, I am still sitting here waiting for a call back, as Daniella on customer service has just told me that I am not even booked in!!! they wont call me back, because they never do. What a joke of a company, I have even read their employee reviews, who call them Cowboys! and say that they don't pay them. If they don't sort it I will take them to small claims court!”

“I had a conservatory that was cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer. Following my research, we had to make a decision whether to go with the self cleaning and heat reflecting glass or a tiled insulated roof. Steve from Comfortable Conservatories visited us and provided a very competitive quote. He promised that the Insulated roof would give us what we wanted which was a warm room that we could still use in the winter months. Up to the day of installation I was still in doubt as to whether the insulated roof would work albeit all the reviews I'd read about Comfortable Conservatories were positive. I am very pleased to say that, as the cold evenings have now kicked in, I'm able to sit comfortably in my conservatory. My thanks also go out to the installation guys. Although I was away when the roof was installed, my husband provided me with a step by step guide of your professionalism, organisation and structured process from the beginning right through to completion. Steve, my apologies for doubting you! ???? Thanks to everyone at Comfortable Conservatories Teresa”

“The Salesman came out and was a bit pushy but nice enough. He said we could only get that best price if we said yes on that same day. We felt a bit rushed but agreed to have the roof insulated. Fitters came and were awful, didn't have the right tools and did not do a good job. We phoned the customer service team and they arranged for it to all be redone promptly. That went very well. A bit inconvenient that we had to fully empty our conservatory once again but job was done well. A few weeks later one of our internal roof panels smashed completely! Since then we have phoned the customer service team about 10 times but they will not ring us back. Each time they promise someone will ring back to arrange soneone to visit but we are still waiting! An independent glazier said this must be due to a screw going into the panel. This has now gone on for months. Feel very let down and wish we'd used another company with better customer service.”

“We had insulated ceiling installed, first class fitter installed in 1 day.Far less noise when raining, no glare from sun, (when we get some ) we now are able to use our conseratory far more. Would thoroughly reccomend Comfortable Conservatories.”

“Great service, from the office staff to the building team, all friendly and helpful, all done quickly and efficiently, very pleased with the end product, no more rain noise, so much warmer in winter, looking forward to summer when we can actually sit in here and enjoy the room, been thinking about having this done for a couple of years...shouldn't have waited....so long, spiders and bugs...happy days!! Highly recommend.”

“This is my review of a recently replaced glass roof and glass side panel by Comfortable Conservatories MK for our conservatory in Bedford My profile - Age 65 Retired - was a self employed business owner running a local Estate Agents Hobbies – Relevant one - keen at DIY providing a substantial knowledge of buildings Our original roof details - The conservatory was installed by a reputable local company in 2007 The specification included the latest and very expensive self cleaning and heat reflecting glass which we were advised would keep the heat out and the warmth in - in our opinion a total failure, we had to install roof binds at a considerable extra cost which became a home to dust, dead flies,wasps and spiders and we were forever using heating to keep the temperature at the right level Our research - We had several quotes involving removing the whole roof and replacing with an aluminium structure and a ring beam and these were at least twice the price of Comfortable Conservatories and we think were going to cause a lot more disturbance for no more benefit Action taken - We visited Comfortable Conservatories in MK and met with a sales person and saw samples of the roof on conservatories and were provided with examples of tiles together with viewing a very informative video film which accurately described the roof replacement procedure from start to finish. This video is available online at Comfortable Conservatories website and is well worth viewing. We were also able to see samples of the tiles available The decision was made there and then and we paid a deposit and ordered the work to be started at a date and time suitable to us The replacement - On the prescribe day the crew arrived and organised themselves with army like precision, with ground sheets laid out tools and materials which were carefully bought onto site. Work then commenced and within a few days of hard graft the new lightweight tiled roof with full insulation and plasterboard internal finish was installed and a glazed side panel was replaced with exterior UPVC panels, insulation and plasterboard internal finish. The whole project completed with new exterior gutters giving a clean and fresh appearance A couple of days later professional plasters arrived and completed the finish for the roof and wall leaving it for me to now take over and fit skirting and paint the plastered surfaces after drying out I requseted a building regulations certificate and shortly after the job was finished a Bedford Building Inspector arrived and his comment was - that looks a good roof I know this company well and a completion certificate arrived by email very soon after our meeting Snags - Nothing of concern, by choice we had some addition lead flashing carried out and that was done very well at at a fair price and the electric supply to the ceiling fan was checked and then it was all done our new conservatory roof and side panel was ready for use Conclusion - As with any large investment there are always doubts, but with the way my queries were resolved, coupled with the examples shown I felt happy to proceed and have not regretted it in any way whatsoever. The company has proved to be extremely efficient and dealt with all queries as a matter of urgency We love our “garden lounge” as we now refer to it and use it both during the day and at night to watch TV and now the original lounge to the house is virtually redundant. The roof has withstood very heavy downpours of rain with no noise, the temperature on a hot summers day is very acceptable without using the ceiling fan and the nights are no longer cold needing additional heating. In winter we expect to top up the temperature but judging buy the performance of the roof I am sure it will cost a lot less than before This has taken me some time to prepare and it is a genuine review from a very satisfied customer Thank you all at Comfortable Conservatories MK Steve Porter”

“Comfortable Conservatories have saved my conservatory, I have a 27 year old conservatory that was rotting I contacted Comfortable Conservatories who starlight away came out to me gave me an unbeatable price and guaranteed me a 'pre Christmas fit' so I wouldn't have the stress of my conservatory not being ready in time for Christmas, it took the fitters two days to install my new conservatory roof, I couldn't be more happy with the outcome! Your staff are a great credit and what an amazing product you have! Thank you again I will be recommending you to all my family and friends!”

“We have just had a tiled roof fitted. The fitters (Anton and Ricky) were friendly and incredibly hard working, even working in pouring rain to finish the job. Ross the electrician was also excellent. The roof looks great, and the noise reduction is significant it is also so much cooler. Our conservatory was open plan off the living room and now with the plastered vaulted ceiling gives the room the wow factor. We had some cosmetic damage caused during the fitting (understandable when building work is undertaken), but this was resolved very promptly and entirely to our satisfaction by Daniela, Installations Manager. We are very happy with the roof and the service we received.”

“Very professional site team, very impressive end product both inside and out. Site fully cleaned after installation. This has extended both the use and life of our conservatory.The one point that let you down was your store man, I could not believe the number of times they had to go to Eurocel in Preston or Kendal to get parts that were incorrect, missing or in short supply from the installation kit which overall added a fifth day to the job.”

“I must say the installation team in ryann and his team were fantastic They were polite and efficient they completed our conservatory roof to a very high standard .my wife and I are very pleased withe the work and the clean and efficient way the completed the project the plaster finished the inside to a superb standard .i must say it is a credit to your company.its amazing what lots of tea and food keeps them going Thank you agin for your professional team the four of them were 100%”

“My conservatory was completed last Friday evening after two days, I must say I am totally delighted it looks amazing and the two guys Anthon and Ricky were great workers who obviously enjoyed working together , the banter between them was brilliant and I enjoyed the happy atmosphere they created. “We asked for an online quote and someone rang us to arrange for a salesman to visit the next day. We made sure we were home for the appointment but no-one arrived and no phone call to apologise. 24 hours later still no contact. Now we do not want to take it any further as the company are not reliable.”

“We bought our house and knew that we were going to have issues as the previous owners had put up a conservatory with a twin carb roof but the main issue was that there was no door between the kitchen and the conservatory. After doing a lot of research we engaged Comfortable Conservatories who insulated our roof and turned the space into a usable room, so much so that we knocked the wall through to the dining room and we now have modern 50ft space that gets used everyday. If you have doubts I can reassure you that almost 2 years on we are still happy.”

“the comcept is excellent as were the sub contractor that did the roof.But unfortunately the admin was terrible the one call we received during the build was to say the plaster would not be coming as he had broken down in fact the plaster was here &half way through the job!!! the next call was for the money! ! very disappointed with the customer service”
