“Knowledgeable hard working team.swiftly removed old roof and put new roof on in one day,the second day roof was tiled and new guttering. Very pleased with results.The coming months will tell the worth of the extra insulation.”

“An excellent process from beginning to end. Delightful staff and installers. The insulated conservatiry roof with pvc finish looks great. Installed by proffesionals. My conservatory has remained a constant 70 degrees. A pleasant room to use. The product works.”

“Comfortable Conservatories provided a good customer service. However, the first installation team that arrived made a hash of the roof, so much so that the second team had to redo the outside of the roof and a third team had to strip down and re-install the inside of the PVCu cladding. When Comfortable Conservatories were told about the problems they were quick to re-organise and get the job finished to our satisfaction. I would say that the first installers (Anton and Ricky) should not be installing without supervision and a lot more training. Dan/Steve and Gabriel/John were professional in every way. Two very good teams. A recommendation to the company would be to improve your internal communications then there would not have been a mix up with the start dates.”

“Excellent product for what was required. We can now sit in our conservatory during the hottest part of the day which we never could before. The fitters were very efficient and tidy and knew what they were doing. Altogether an excellent job for what we paid.”

“We had an insulated ceiling installed two weeks ago. The installation was carried out on the agreed date and the installation team arrived at the time agreed. They worked quickly and were very tidy in their work. There was no adverse impact on the conservatory or the garden and they cleared up effectively. Since then we have been enjoying a much cooler conservatory which is now used as another sitting room. Previously we could not do this as in summer, the conservatory became as hot as an oven, with candles melting and furniture dried out and faded. Also the noise levels (from rain falling) are much reduced. Altogether it was a great decision to have this work done and I believe the spend was reasonable value for the benefits we have seen.”

“Ceiling cladding poorly fitted. The cladding collapsed on the left side after 3 months of fitting. Cladding fitted September 2015 now September 2016 just a year total cladding now dropped and dangerously haggling. Customer service awful”

“We are delighted with our new roof. The installation has been done in two stages. First, we had the interior insulated and the finish is UPVC boards which actually give us more light and insulation. Secondly we had the old polycarbonate roof removed to be replaced with boards and extra insulation and finally finished with lightweight tiles. We now have a roof which can be stood on with new fascia boards and guttering. Sound insulation is improved and the room has been turned into all the year round living space with its increased light. Overall much cheaper than alternative companies and the materials and workmanship are first class. Each stage only took one day.”

“NEVER EVER use this company! The first 2 roofs leaked it took 2 months (in winter!)for a 3rd roof to be fitted. Half way through the job they left as they had a new more important job, leaving our conservatory open to the rain. Our conservatory is now destroyed! The ceiling bows so we cannot open the internal doors, and we live in fear everytime it rains. Guttering leaks, and the room is freezing. The only thing our conservatory is now for for it the tip! They left rubbish all over the garden, our furniture was ruined and we were left cleaning up all the mud trodden in. They refuse to accept any responsibility.”

“Although there was a mix up with the commencement date and the fitters arrived two weeks earlier than was arranged, the fitters who did turn up on the right date did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the end result.”

“Although initially I was unhappy at my conservatory beginning at a later date than was agreed , comfortable conservatories moved 'heaven and earth' to rectify the situation showing how important customer service is to them. The two lads worked to a very high standard and I was kept informed of every procedure in the process of putting up the roof. I must admit I was slightly uncertain about changing the roof but I am delighted with the outcome.”

“Very happy with the process from start to finish the fitters were very professional and would certainly recommend. Noticed difference straightaway traffic noise reduced,and the difference in heat on a hot day,looking forward to make use of the room.”

“Very quick to get a salesman on site and to take an order, installation engineers seemed to know what to do but after the first rain the roof still leaked. Upon inspection I could see that the water ran off the tiles and missed the guttering. Also drain pipes leaked and water ran down the door. After numerous phone calls an engineer visited and said that they needed to get materials to put the incorrect installation put right. After various delays we arranged to be at home and no one turned up. I called the office at 16.10 and was told engineer stuck in traffic. No further contact from the office and another day wasted. I will have to contact the office tomorrow and waste another day. The office staff don't seem to realise how long it takes for engineers to get around the country.”

“We were very pleased with the quick delivery time.The price was competetive The fitters arrived on time worked quickly and cleared away after, The result does what we wanted cuts down on heat and noise and will stop conservatory getting very cold . The end result is excellent.”

“My conservatory was in poor shape. It is 17 years old. The roof sheets were loose and moved every time the wind blow, allowing water in. The sides were out of shape, the windows wouldn't open and the outside door was a problem. Comfortable Conservatories have transformed it. I now have a room that is a pleasure to sit in. All the windows open and so does the outside door. It has an insulated slate roof that matches the house. The ceiling is white with recessed lighting. I find it hard to believe this miracle was performed in just three days. Thank you Comfortable Conservatories. Geoff Tee”

“This is my review of a recently replaced glass roof and glass side panel by Comfortable Conservatories MK for our conservatory in Bedford My profile - Age 65 Retired - was a self employed business owner running a local Estate Agents Hobbies – Relevant one - keen at DIY providing a substantial knowledge of buildings Our original roof details - The conservatory was installed by a reputable local company in 2007 The specification included the latest and very expensive self cleaning and heat reflecting glass which we were advised would keep the heat out and the warmth in - in our opinion a total failure, we had to install roof binds at a considerable extra cost which became a home to dust, dead flies,wasps and spiders and we were forever using heating to keep the temperature at the right level Our research - We had several quotes involving removing the whole roof and replacing with an aluminium structure and a ring beam and these were at least twice the price of Comfortable Conservatories and we think were going to cause a lot more disturbance for no more benefit Action taken - We visited Comfortable Conservatories in MK and met with a sales person and saw samples of the roof on conservatories and were provided with examples of tiles together with viewing a very informative video film which accurately described the roof replacement procedure from start to finish. This video is available online at Comfortable Conservatories website and is well worth viewing. We were also able to see samples of the tiles available The decision was made there and then and we paid a deposit and ordered the work to be started at a date and time suitable to us The replacement - On the prescribe day the crew arrived and organised themselves with army like precision, with ground sheets laid out tools and materials which were carefully bought onto site. Work then commenced and within a few days of hard graft the new lightweight tiled roof with full insulation and plasterboard internal finish was installed and a glazed side panel was replaced with exterior UPVC panels, insulation and plasterboard internal finish. The whole project completed with new exterior gutters giving a clean and fresh appearance A couple of days later professional plasters arrived and completed the finish for the roof and wall leaving it for me to now take over and fit skirting and paint the plastered surfaces after drying out I requseted a building regulations certificate and shortly after the job was finished a Bedford Building Inspector arrived and his comment was - that looks a good roof I know this company well and a completion certificate arrived by email very soon after our meeting Snags - Nothing of concern, by choice we had some addition lead flashing carried out and that was done very well at at a fair price and the electric supply to the ceiling fan was checked and then it was all done our new conservatory roof and side panel was ready for use Conclusion - As with any large investment there are always doubts, but with the way my queries were resolved, coupled with the examples shown I felt happy to proceed and have not regretted it in any way whatsoever. The company has proved to be extremely efficient and dealt with all queries as a matter of urgency We love our “garden lounge” as we now refer to it and use it both during the day and at night to watch TV and now the original lounge to the house is virtually redundant. The roof has withstood very heavy downpours of rain with no noise, the temperature on a hot summers day is very acceptable without using the ceiling fan and the nights are no longer cold needing additional heating. In winter we expect to top up the temperature but judging buy the performance of the roof I am sure it will cost a lot less than before This has taken me some time to prepare and it is a genuine review from a very satisfied customer Thank you all at Comfortable Conservatories MK Steve Porter”

“The installation team were superb and the product is excellent. I couldn't be happier with the installation process. The administration process was a nightmare, particularly when dealing with the Milton Keynes office. 3 times salesmen failed to turn up, then an installation date had been 'forgotten'. Staff in the Norwich office were conscientious, even if I was eventually told that they had me down as an awkward customer! The end result is great and as such I am happy to recommend it.”
