I ordered two cushions in October. One month later I phoned this company to ask where they were. The order had been allocated to someone else and the person I spoke to said it would be re-ordered as a priority. I have now been billed twice. Once on 21st October and again on 21st November for £34.97. I phoned again and was told someone from Accounts would phone me back. I have just had a very unpleasant conversation with a young man called "Ben" who kept interrupting me trying to explain what had happened. He disputed the October order and said I had not been charged twice, over and over. I gave him my credit card number, and was looking at the two statements. He went away, then said he and the supervisor had found the original order and that one payment would be refunded immediately. I was very offended by his manner and the way he spoke to me. No apology - he just hung up. I would never deal with this company again.

I bought a 45w heater for an airing cupboard. Total waste of time and money. Would not recommend this product to anybody.

I Would not recommend purchasing from this company at all. I Ordered presents for Christmas, on the 4th of December. Coppers of stortford claim to have dispatched the parcel on the 9th, on the 12th via Tracking no parcel is reported at Hermes Depot. contacted Coppers customer service two days later via there Site contact Email, inquiring why no movement, NO response. Contacted again, Coppers finally responded telling me to wait, delivery will happen. Called them on 19th told the same lies parcel is in transit. will be delivered over the weekend. Still no delivery. now being 22nd phoned Coppers told parcel is at Gatwick depot should be out for delivery tomorrow, told them if the courier was unable to deliver on the 23rd I will collect. Then received a call from Coppers customer services after 4:30 to be told my parcel has been lost so I won't get Christmas presents. So this is how they treat customers,

Recently purchased 2 kitchen mats with chicken motifs today after dropping an egg on one of them I put it in the washing machine on a quick wash,unfortunately the mat and the machine had a disagreement and the mat came out the worst all the rubber backing had broken up so the mat is useless.So much for machine washable mats, Trade Description ? poor quality goods these mats. I have now purchased 3 items from coopers.first was the tabletop mini-oven for my son,very pleased.second insulated teapot which is great ok lid gets hot but what can you expect if you want hot tea? the third was the coffee percolater.compared to a very well known brand which cost a great deal more the coffee stays hot for a long period unlike the more expensive one which went luke warm within 30 mins.i am highly satisfied with all products customer service and delivery time.very surprised at some of the negative reviews.i will most definitely use again and also recommend to friends and family. chris.hodkin Derbyshire.

After reading these reviews I was iffy to say the least but the product arrived really quickly and I had about four notifications from them and the courier company. The product seems good, a little plasticy but I was expecting that for the price and I am sure it is some of the best engineering available...in China lol. But overall I can recommend.

Why do I bother??? Had problems with this company a while ago, tried them again about 12 months ago and seemed to have improved - should have known better. Ordered 2 items, one shown as in stock and the other 2 weeks delivery. Guess what? The out of stock Item (which I only ordered to meet minimum value for £5 discount) is on it's way the other is now out of stock and 1 week delivery quoted. Obviously either poor stock control or stock levels not updated live on line. Will have to be much larger discount to persuade me to risk them again.

If you are as strong as the weakest link then I have rated Coopers as POOR. If your product is of low quality and not fit for purpose then I have rated Coopers as poor. I ordered a 2 drawer shoe tidy for my cloakroom. It was delivered to another house some distance away and down some steep steps EVEN though I was at home all day. As the holes for the assembly screws were in the wrong place I decided to send it back. I was told by Coopers that the item would be collected on Monday this week 24 Nov. I waited in all day. I sent and email to Coopers without a response. I waited in all the next day. IO sent another email again no response. I have had no word from YODEL the couriers OR Coopers. What do they expect? If we had a choice of which courier WE are going to pay then YODEL would not be my choice. I am still waiting for them

Coopers customer care was fantastic in replacing a faulty reading light. Despite the fact I had purchased it some time ago they were incredibly helpful and replaced it without quibble. I will certainly be buying from them again and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you very much.

Having read previous reviews it makes me wonder if we are talking about the same company as the service and communication I have received have been exemplary. I have rated them 5 stars as from my experience they fully deserve this rating. Colin

Coopers have provided me with excellent service and good value for money. Ten years ago I paid £80 to have my parent's gravestone professionally cleaned. This would now cost in the region of £120. Following the professional cleaning the gravestone gradually discoloured and after three years required cleaning again. On recommendation I used Coopers Stone Cleaning solution and the results were extremely impressive. Superior to the professional cleaning job. So impressive was the result that people thought I had replaced the headstone. Not a mark remained. The long term protection provided by Coopers solution means that seven years have elapsed before another clean is necessary. It could be left longer but at about £4.50 a clean it is inexpensive to keep the headstone in pristine condition. Thank you Coopers for a quality product and your prompt service . Emailed to say teasmade bought less than a year ago not working (2 year guarantee) very quick and impressive response to say this model not available until February but in the meantime another model available. emailed back to say yes please. No response to email so rang (0844 number) spoke to someone who described the replacement item to me and I said fine so thought it was coming. Nothing so rang again on 7th November to be told would be sent out. No email confirmation and no parcel. Rang again (long wait) to be told that I would have to ring again in a week or a week and a half as they could not pre-order this item and the other one not available until February. Said I knew this and had asked for the other one which I thought was on way. Very angry and asked to speak to supervisor but refused. Emailed and tweeted twice but no response. Ended call by saying would buy one elsewhere and wanted a refund. Refund department going to ring me urgently. 7 hours later and still no call so have no idea what they are doing. They seem pretty disorganised and I will not buy from them again. However still need to get a tea maker. They really could have organised one for me and at least kept me up to date with what was happening and respond to emails and tweets. Very poor way of running a business.

Well I ordered on 22nd September and supposedly it was completed on the 26th. Haven't had anything yet. However the courier they used - Hermes- say the status is 'order generated' whatever that may mean. So I sent Coopers an email last week because it was already 1 week over the 28 days and I'm still waiting for any kind of response from them- so have just emailed again. The auto response to the second email says 'we aim to resolve all queries at the first time of asking' how ironic!

I was really fed up with my mat sliding across the carpet, so I ordered Anti Slip Mat Grips. I followed the instructions and stuck them to the under side of my mat and pressed firmly on to my carpet. I am very disappointed they did not make any difference at all in fact they made it worse. The mat started to flip over at the corners and when I caught my foot on it I trod on the little spikes which was quit painful. The little spikes seemed to get a better grip on my foot than they did my carpet. Also the adhesive lost it's stick after a week. I know they only cost £6.99 but I just can not be bothered to spend post and packing to send them back. As for getting them collected I just would not go there the delivery took days by some none English speaking delivery driver who kept getting lost. I should have learnt my lesson as I have ordered other goods in the past and they where not a lot of good either. So I will not be making any more purchases from Coopers.

BEWARE!!!! I was perfectly happy with the product I bought. However I has since discovered that they have sold my details onto mailing houses and I am having to spend considerable effort getting my details removed by these companies. At the time I placed the order with Coopers (December 2013) there was no way to update marketing preferences in my account on the website so I did not discover what they had done til I started to receive unrequested mail. They now appear to have added marketing preferences updates to online customer accounts but who knows how many other addresses they sold on. I have no trust in this company any more.

i purchased a garden cart or9339186 nice tool but!! the wheels appear to be buckled, after being told that there is a 36minute wait by phone to speak to someone I feel somewhat frustrated. cartwrightvr@talktalk.net

I ordered a bathmat and an armchair support pillow from Coopers of Stortford. I had read all of the negative reviews but as it was difficult to obtain the pillow elsewhere for such a good price I decided to take a chance. To be honest, I wasn't expecting my items to even be delivered. I was surprised when not only did they turn up, but delivery was even quicker than I expected. I haven't had any dealings with customer support so cannot comment on that but I would definitely order from them again. Thanks Coopers of Stortford!
