I tried to do an on-line return of a Samsung tablet, (you get 28 days). I got an email saying it was too late, you only get 21 days! Customer help person said it was definitely 28 days and that I should take it into a Currys shop and that they are too lazy to process returns if they can avoid it. I took it into Norwich Currys and 5 minutes got a refund!

Purchased cover for £2.99pm for a dishwasher. Have been paying it for the last 2 years and had 3 know how operatives come out as my dishwasher tablet never ever drops and only ever dissolves up to a quarter of the tablet on any cycle that I use. 1st time they changed the dispenser but it still did the same thing. 2nd time they suggested I use liquid tabs instead of powder. Why should I have to use a certain tablet for my dishwasher to maybe work properly?? 3rd time the guy said the dispenser does open but the tablet just never drops down, so I should maybe just put the tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher. Again why should I have to put the tablet somewhere it is not suppose to go for it to work properly. Even then it doesn’t dissolve fully. I have stated that you have now not been able to repair it to how it should work so I require to get a replacement. I don’t wish to get the same one/brand as obviously it does not do the job. I have paid cover every month for 2 years yet you fail to fix or replace my product. Therefor you have miss sold me this cover as you do not do as the policy says. When are you going to sort this out, i will not be taking your cover out on any products in the future and will not be recommending it either.

A letter I've just sent recorded delivery to Currys... Dear Currys I am writing to you today to express my total disbelief at your service. I bought a dishwasher from you 2 months ago, and I reported it faulty 2 hours after your guys installed it. Since then it has been an absolute horrific experience which I have detailed below. I must warn you now that this is my final attempt to give you an opportunity to remedy this situation before I involve a solicitor. I have totalled my time on the phone to you and Samsung, and this is now over 12 hours spent either talking or on hold! 6/3/21 I purchased a Samsung dishwasher online from Currys. 8/3/21 The dishwasher was installed by Currys, They checked that it came on and filled with water, then were happy to leave it at that. An hour later I tried to put it on a full cycle, It did not work, it just filled with water and stayed like that no matter which cycle I selected. I called Currys, and no matter which option I selected it was either referring me back to website or direct to Samsung. So I got through to Samsung and reported that my brand new unit didn't work, they trouble shooted over phone and agreed that it needed an engineer, I explained that It was an hour old and i didn't want a repair, I wanted it replacing. They then managed to connect me internally to someone at Currys who said they would get back to me within 24 hours to arrange a swap. 11/3/21 No one had contacted me after 24 hours so I went onto Currys website and their live chat because you cannot talk to someone in person on their phone. They had no record of my issue and explained that I would need to call their helpline... I did this and got back through to Samsung. Samsung explained that they would need to send someone out to verify the fault before issuing a returns authorisation, they would get back to me with a date. 12/3/21 I sent an email to Samsung explaining my dissatisfaction at buying a new unit and not having any recourse at all, I received a generic response saying a case was open and they are dealing with it. 14/3/21 Contacted Currys/Samsung again explaining that they were breaching their obligations under the consumer rights act 2015, this fell on deaf ears, there is nothing they can do until an engineer had been sent out, but if I felt that my rights were being breached then I should go back to Currys (who's helpline just puts you back through to Samsung) They transferred me internally and the guy from Currys was shocked that this was happening, he explained that he would personally deal with it and get back to me within 20 minutes with arrangements to swap the Dishwasher. They did not call me back! 16/3/21 Called Currys/Samsung again explaining how unhappy I was with their service, they said I should go back to Currys to get a refund, when I explained that I couldn't without a returns authorisation from them, she said 'yes, I know' without a hint of understanding the Irony. 17/3/21 Samsung called and explained that an engineer would be in touch I explained I didn't want a repair though, I didn't buy a second hand unit, it was new, she said they would be able to swap it providing the engineer found a fault, and then went on to tell me that if they didn't, then there would be a charge of £170 ish fee. By this time I just felt beaten down and agreed to anything. 20/03/21 Engineer called me to say they would be repairing my unit, I said that I didn't want a repair, the dishwasher was faulty on day1. They said I would have to take this up with Samsung. I did this but got nowhere, by now I just wanted someone to help, and I wasn't bothered what happened, I just wanted a working Dishwasher. 23/03/21 Engineers called (Hubys of Hull) to cancel and explained they would get back to me, but it would be a few weeks before they could fit me in and would get back to me with a date. 25/03/21 I had taken a couple of days to calm down as this was obviously getting me down. I called Currys/Samsung again and explained how unhappy I was at buying a new Dishwasher that didn't work and it now being nearly 3 weeks, and still nothing is being done. I got the familiar generic response. 3/4/21 Huby's got back to me to explain that someone would be with me in 2 weeks..... I'd given up and was close to just throwing the Dishwasher out so just agreed. 15/4/21 Engineer attended, 30 seconds in he said, 'yeah, your motor doesn't work, they should have just swapped this' he explained that his report would go through to Samsung, and if I called them tomorrow they would have this info and would be able to arrange a replacement 16/4/21 Called Samsung, we can see that he attended, but don't have any information from the engineer. They said they would chase 19/4/21 Called Samsung again, same response as above. 22/4/21 We are now a week after the engineer came and still nothing, no response from Samsung, and Currys won't deal with me without a returns note from Samsung even though I bought it from them. This is now close to 2 Months from purchase and has been faulty since day 1. 25/4/21 Emailed Samsung to see if they had got a response from their engineer yet, received a response that someone would be in touch. No one got in touch! 28/4/21 Called Currys and actually got through to someone in the UK (I think) I explained the situation, they were sympathetic and couldn’t understand how this could happen, it should have been swapped out on day 1. She put me on hold while she spoke to Samsung, Samsung told her they had no report, and then proceeded to ask me what day the engineer attended (I’m gobsmacked at the incompetence at this stage). After 40 minutes on hold Currys transferred me to Samsung (without warning) Samsung spoke a few words which I didn’t comprehend, then the line went dead! I called Currys back up and got through to someone different, I asked if I could speak to the previous team member to save having to explain everything again, the operator said she would send an email requesting she call me back. 28/4/21 20 minutes after the Currys call above, I received an email from Samsung saying that they are organising an engineer to come out and look at my dishwasher. Are you actually kidding me???? Back to square one….. Consumer rights act 2015 regards to white goods, I should be offered a replacement or refund within 30 days if faulty, I reported this issue after 2 hours, we are now 2 months down the line and I’ve had enough. Ps, Currys did not return the call as mentioned above.

Our fridge broke less than a year old, two weeks to get a repair for 30th March. Fridge not repairable, so still under warranty to get new one. Chased every week and it is now 29th April and still no fridge. Now been told that the fridge is no longer made and they wont replace. Have put in a complaint and will be taking them to the small claims court. Customer Service is terrible, no call backs, no information will not be buying anything from them ever again.

I had a gas hob delivered,I had to go to the doctors so my son sat in the lounge as they fitted the hob. One of the KnowHow guys opened the fridge, baring in mind we are going through a pandemic, and said ‘ooh tasty steak!!!’ Unbelievably shocking, as is their non-existence customer service!!!I lodged a complaint nearly 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing!! I will never shop at Curry’s again and will be spreading the word!!

Delivery men damaged my kitchen cushion floor, all evidence provided. I’m told by Currys that all my statements are incorrect and damage was already done. You pay for a service and allow them into your home, expecting that it will be left in the condition it was. Currys denied all claims and branded me a liar. Very unprofessional and downright disgusting service.

The in-store team are great. However, that's as far as it goes. I have NEVER had a good experience of dealing with the company's over the phone "customer service". I have twice been deliberately misgendered and abused by them for my trans identity and hung up on by both management and agents simply for my not accepting their faulty deliveries and severe lack of customer service. There's a lot more to of all that, of course. And that was just last year's experiences. Fast forward to today, their website is broken and will neither recognise my login details (despite having reset my password as a precaution), nor allow me to progress on the checkout page. Tried calling them... complete waste of time. Have tried emailing... yet another waste of time. And, just for kicks, I have also tried messaging them on their twitter... guess what? Yet another waste of my precious time! I have now taken my custom elsewhere. And I would strongly recommend everyone else does, as well. Curry's truly are a complete and utter shambles of a company.

I needed a credit repair, initially i worked with Credit karma I had disputed cases and some was resolved but I kept getting these notifications that my score changed. Logged in and again saw false accounts I am being penalized with that I have no knowledge of. Then i came across this Credit repair specialist I contacted him, he calls himself the REPAIR WIZARD then he requested i made a down payment although i was reluctant at first but my instinct led me to make the down payment. He assured me a massive job with no traces. In 7 business days he boosted my credit score to 790 and deleted all negative collections on my report. He also assisted me in getting a credit card with $10000 limit. Man knows his job and is really a REPAIR WIZARD you should contact him if you have similar issues at ( REPAIRWIZARD4 @ DR . COM )

Waste of time trying to reach anyone, if you do manage to get through the department they transfer you to will likely not bother picking up the phone or it will mysteriously cut off when they are required to do anything.

Had TV 15 months broke down was told by someone in SOUTH AFRICA yes could be repaired cost of £95 plus repair costs. If manufacture fault £95 would be refunded I and all other customers expect a TV to last longer than 15 months. Will not be buying anything from CurrysPC world AGAIN. This is a very shortened version of my experience with customer service. S. Jarvis

The website is appalling. Everything is in stock until you want to buy it and then it isn’t in your location.... but there is no way to find out where it is in stock... the livechat people have no access to stock or location. Genuinely the worst website for online shopping... you’re meant to be a tech sales place and have zero proficiency in online selling!

Possibly the worst experience I have had from a company. I purchased a laptop for my son and had a "very" minor issue. Tech help managed to talk me through deleting all his applications (which didn't even fix the issue). It then took me a week to re-install things (due to password issues etc) and my son had to spend 3 weeks catching up on his work. Despite phoning every week for 2 months I never got as much as an apology. Customer service constantly promised to phone back and didn't. Hugely disappointed and I will never buy anything from Currys ever again.

I bought a JBL 9.1 soundbar from curry last year(2020) December in the sale my trouble started there only they send me the tracking ID but after waiting for 20 days they said they can't track the item it is lost in transit. In Feb 2021 they again put the order and re-arranged the delivery this time and sent me a delivery schedule message in the morning, I was waiting for the delivery but I got an email around 2 PM that curry requested not to deliver the item. I have called more than 150 times to resolve the issue the curry pc guys every time telling me different stories. after so many calls they again send me the package on March 5th I got the item but, I got the item and the box in damaged condition, I called on the same day for the same and raise the issue, I decided not to replace the item this time I want to decide to get my refund back. The real huddle started now after 3 pickup attempts numerous calls the DPD guy came to pick up the item after 5 days I got a notification email the item is delivered to the destination. but when I called the curry pc they told me that we got the item but we lost it again in the warehouse. they send me a threatening email to sign a document that was involved in a police investigation. I did the same still waiting for my refund. never ever buy anything from curry pc online

Shocking performance. Numerous telephone calls because virtually impossible to speak to anyone never mind the appropriate department. I purchased an Apple iPad and was assured that it would be available for collection after 5pm (!) but not to go to the store until I received an email to confirm. Days later, after literally hours on the phone, I’m informed that the item has arrived but the confirmation email had been omitted! Such a waste of time, incredible inefficiency.

Chose a new upright cleaner but not in store so had to order and pick up. Curry’s emailed to say in store. Took receipt and email to pick up but this was not enough. Needed card details- was picking up for an OAP who couldn’t get to store so had you leave empty handed! This information for pick up should be included in email or told it would be needed at purchase to avoid unnecessary trips!
