I needed to buy both a new fridge/freezer and cooker. I had been to a number of well known stores, but my nearest (you do need to look at products like this before purchasing which you cannot do online) appeared to be more interested in the sale and techie stuff than my questions. So I travelled to another 2, same problems. I managed to get a good look at the fridge/freezer I was interested in, but the assistants are, to be blunt useless. As for the cooker not one store had one in to look at only online, but still could not answer questions. Eventually I ordered my fridge/freezer on line (nearly £900) which was delivered efficiently by 2 lovely guys who were extremely helpful. As for the cooker well Currys lost out on over £2000 as this was eventually bought through Stellasons.

I went to look at a TV I was a short distance from the TV within 3 mins at looking at it the same staff walked in front of me blocking the view 4 times there was plenty of room behind me I heard them talking another language to each other in front of other customers it is a shame it was my go to store until this happened Currys seems to be out of touch with reality.

A lot of the stock advertised/displayed isn't actually available! This doesn't stop them from putting promotions against these items though... An exremely farcical experience. Quite disappointed.

Refused to honour both deals offered on web and in store despite meeting all requirements and bosch paying for one of them. When I complained I was told that I should be thankful that one of the two machines I was purchasing was on sale and I was saving lots ! Disgusted will never consider them again ! Resolved by AO. Actually got better machines at cheaper prices.

At Christchurch store purchased TV for bedroom, with help of Curry staff member and also purchased wall bracket. Husband paid by card but as hard of hearing did not realise that overcharged by about £90. Tried phoning Currys from home, almost impossible to get through to real, live person. Finally told that they could neither give us the Christchurch phone number nor tel. them themselves! In despair we abandoned evening meal and drove again to Christchurch (25-mile round trip) and found that the TV handed to us was a different model to one we had chosen, hence greatly increased price. We had not opened the box. We finally accepted reduction in price of the TV sold to us, but we so nearly told Currys to just refund our money. Presuming it was an unfortunate error, we just hope that this TV is OK when we fit it tomorrow. We are elderly, unwell and partially disabled, so driving all those extra miles, plus frustrating hour trying to tel. Currys, has been a bad experience. I doubt if we'll ever shop there again. Looking at other reviews online, I am surprised that this company still exists. Why haven't the Company Directors, etc. have sorted out their poor customer service long ago? It must put a lot of strain on their unfortunate employees who are frequently faced with frustrated customers trying to sort out a problem.

Nobody working on the tills, but lots of staff walking around aimlessly, staff didn't even apologise for the wait when they did eventually come to the till. Totally no customer care at all.

Used Click and Collect online. No email to say that product had arrived in my local store. Had to ring help desk who said product had been delivered to store 2 days earlier.

When purchasing a TV, I had already decided which TV I wanted, rather than giving me guidance on the product and maybe additional items to go with it (i.e. blu-ray player), they spent the time suggesting alternatives.

On the 3rd of july I went to my nerest currys store because online infomation was that they had the steam iron instore that I wanted, when we arrived there there was none of the irons that we wanted in the store but the nerest on, up to about 220 miles away had on if we were willing to go that far, we had already driven 7 miles to this store, We aqreed to buy one and to pick it up the next day but it was not expected to be available until after 5pm, we decided to leave it to today ,the 5th of july to make sure that we did not waste our time going there if it was late. When I got there at around 2-45 pm they would not "release it to me" to me as my wife used her debit card and I did not have her card only mine. Although I was with her at they time and the Iron is bought and paid for they would not let me have my property, I was lucky enouth to have as my counter assistant a young lady called Vanessa ( trainor) and she had to go and find a supervisr who's name i did not get, who also would not "release it to me" and would not send it to me as it is mine either, I then left the store awiting them to send MY iron to me and unfortunely I left without the paperwork so now I have no Iron and no proffe that it is My iron, now what do i do???? Without having any having any choise I now have to go back to the store, another 15-16 mile round trip to get what is now mine as it is PAID for because they would not take the order in the first place without payment!

I no Currys have a poor customer and I can see the reason why .. I went to purchase a Samsung tablet on the advise of my friend who works there my friend showed me all the different ones, I then noticed the 2 sizes , 10.1 and a 7 inch the 7 inch had a £50 discount so I said I will purchase the 2 tablets just then another staff member came over and removed the discount ticket on the 7 inch I said I was going to purchase that he said the price has changed now I was shocked even when I said you knew I was going to purchase that , but due to him being a manager on that side of the electronics my friend could not say anything to me it was well out of order and very disappointing and they lost a sale .

Online order... should be simple... took them two weeks to order a cooker from the factory... I have had to make over 13 separate calls to sort it out, delivered... nearly 3 weeks later in a package that I woldnt even send bubble wrap in... 2 grands worth of cooker... wise up please. The delivery guys was were very good though, as were two of the customer service team I spoke to the rest were poor and unhelpful.

I sent my laptop for repair and it came back damaged by them. I tried to apply for compensation and they said I can only get it sent back for repair (to the same people who damaged it in the first place). I'm a student so this is really unfair because laptop skins are very expensive and I was saving up to buy one. I would recommend going somewhere else if you want to be treated with respect.

Knew what I wanted to buy. Had to seek for an assistant who offered a different product. Store personnel could definitely benefit from marketing training.

Reserved a HP desktop in store went to collect they didn't have any. Then went to another store after being told it was in stock to be told it wasn't there. Had a look in both stores and the choice of desktops was absolutely shocking ended up buying from Amazon.

Aberystwyth store. Went in for a data sim card for new car. Store almost empty of customers but two female staff on the Carphone Warehouse section were so engrossed in talking to each other about mortgages and gossip that they totally ignored me, the only customer within 10 metres. I purposely didn't interrupt their essential banter and eventually left in disgust empty handed. This store is on its way to putting the shutters up by the look of it. Absolutely no loss. I'll certainly not bother with them again at Aberystwyth as there are plenty of people who value their employment status and their customers.

Wanted to buy a camera. Went to store with several on display, but they were not working as no batteries. Told I couldn't try then as they didn't put batteries in cameras. You are supposed to spend £300 without seeing how well the thing works. When decided on model told it wasn't in stock and didn't know when would be available, despite still being on display. Chose another model still not in stock so had to order on-line. if you are ordering on-line you might as well go to Amazon - at least they seem geared up for this. Wonder why stores are there at all if they can't produce the goods.

I bought a Seagate 1Tb Portable Hard drive from the Pontypridd store, mainly to store photographs taken over about four decades of Family/holiday /personal nature. as my computer was getting bogged down with I assume would be about 5-600 photographs many of which cannot be replace. this was in early December, it stopped working in early February less than two months. I took it back to the shop where they were prepared to replaced the unit, but could do nothing about retrieving the lost data, but they could look at from about £90 pounds, so I asked them so for the privilege of retrieving data from a piece of faulty equipment they sold me. they expect me to pay ninety pounds the unit itself only cost £60, which ok is not a lot but for the loss of such personal data, which is irreplaceable in many cases, the price they quoted is not I assume the final price judging by looking at compatible sites, its just to look at the hard drive, looking at other sites the retrieval is astronomical in prices. it could be just a matter of connection, the unit itself is running but just not registering on my computer. not just computer I have tested against other computers with the same results. the young inexperienced girl on the customer service desk confirmed that she was new and didn't know what to do, and needed to see her supervisor, who did not seem interested either, just that if I wanted to get the lost data back I had to give them £90, and no guarantee that would be the final bill. Such good customer relations

Orderd a dyson v6 with free next day delivery had an email from DPD the next morning to say it was being delivered then another from DPD to say they don't have it and to contact the supplier. That isn't easy. I now have to wait in another day. There rubbish and will not buy from them again.
