Return system through shop is poor. I was expected to hand over items without being given any sort of receipt, and was told that an email would arrive telling me that the credit was being sent to my credit card. Not good enough, there was no reason that the shop could not have credited my card straight away.

This was my first experience ordering with Decathlon. The wrong size boots were sent and I was not given the right information to obtain a refund quickly. I wasted a lot of time over this. Very disappointing.

The plastic container for the badminton set was broken at the end , but it was packaged in such a way that we couldn't do it up to return to you, also it is very stiff to get up & down, so I am afraid we couldn't give it a brilliant review.

Ordered it online, but it took a few days to arrive at the store and I could not get there in the few days after it was delivered to them. Phoned up to make sure it wasn't sent back and cancelled as I was out of the country and they said they'd keep it to one side for me. Brilliant! The very next day I got an email to say the order had been cancelled and I would get a refund. Still not received the refund. Not so brilliant. I'll go to Wiggle next time - at least it gets delivered to me.

Order date : 03/05/2016 order DCUK2307751 Hi, On the confirmation email, I was told that the parcel will be arriving on 5 May, however, a follow up email states that there will be delay. It was not clear why there was a delay and no clear indication of the next possible arrival date. Please advice accordingly. Thank you!

All sizes are smaller than normal. Need to order a size bigger than your normal size

Overall generally happy with the service however last week I wanted to purchase a pair of walking shoes. I checked online and found the Warrington store had 2 pairs of my desired shoes available. I was going away for the weekend so visited the store on Friday afternoon to purchase the shoes. On arrival I was informed that the shoes were out of stock and the "computer" was wrong? I was offered a similar pair but they were £50 more expensive which I couldn't afford. Unfortunately at this point I didn't have time to go elsewhere and went away with out any walking shoes. I'm surprised that a business of your size has such poor stock inventory? Thanks Dave

I bought an item online and asked to collect if from the Croydon branch. The delivery was delayed and the item was needed before the weekend for a camping trip. I called the Croydon branch and they were very useful and said the item hadn't arrived, however there could be one on the shop floor. The woman went off, found said item and reserved it behind the til so I could pick it up before my trip. I called customer services to see whether I could just pick up this item using my online reference but that wasn't possible. I had to call customer services and cancel my online order and then pay again in store. Quite a bit of hassle considering I had already paid and my item should've already arrived in store but was delayed. I had paid put £40 for a £20 item and was told I would have a refund within a week or so. Three weeks passed still no refund. I had to call customer services again to ask about my refund only to be told it hadn't been submitted properly at their end. Shop staff were friendly and I do like the store however I had a few issues with what should've been a straight forward order...

I was advised a lock for the bike I bought on that day in decathlon. The lock does not fit the bike, it is too small and not fit for purpose. I now have to go back to the site to return it, the sort is on the other side of the town. The person who mantled my bike left the handle loose and I almost had an accident when cycling on it. Also, the computer systems in store did not work and I could not purchase the bike straight away, but only order it. Poor staff had to apologise many times for this.

The website let me Oder an item...I waited and waited for it to come. I emailed to be told that item not in stock and would be a while but no date. I paid for it to be delivered by a certain day and wasn't given a refund despite it being decathlon's fault. When I tried to cancel it all completely as I was getting fed up, I couldn't and then got an email to say was on way. So no, not impressed with service at all

Firstly my product of Rollerblades arrived and was 3 sizes bigger then I ordered. Then when I returned them which meant travelling half an hour to find a store. Which was the Watford store to find out I couldn't exchange for a new pair because they didn't store Rollerblades which is fair enough but I returned my Rollerblades at the end of March and still have not received my refund and have sent numerous email and done numerous phone calls to chase this. The manager in Watford phoned me which was the only good service I had. But still no refund and it's may! Awful.

When I was unable to find my size instore your colleague helpfully suggested ordering online, when ordering the system seemed very simple however upon receiving my order I encountered a number of problems. The items received were not the sizes I expected as the sizes are ordered in American sizing rather than UK sizing. even though this is not specified online. When I returned the order to the store the colleagues again were very helpful and managed to find my correct size on their shop floor and returned my delivery for me. But here again I encountered an issue, in that I only received confirmation of return of half my order. I emailed a query on the rest of my order when this was received but have not heard from your online team. So I will not be using your online ordering system again, and will consider before going instore too.

Service from shop good, but had to try on numerous sizes to get correct one for my (normal sized) 8yr old daughter. Eventually ended up with a 12yr old size - everything esle miles too small. Why are all your sizes so different to all the other shops??!! Very frustrating

My first and only order was for a watetproof jacket. It took 10 days to deliver to the pick up point and I had to ask Decathlon where it was. I did suggest that they email the cudtomer to inform them that the item is ready to collect (pretty basic IMHO) but they ignored that suggestion. Not impressed and will not use Decathlon again

Ordered size 8.5 football boots and size 9 boots were delivered. Had a football match the next day so I had to use the size 9 boots. Contacted decathlon to be told to send them back. I had to wear the boots the next day so this wasn't possible. Not the greatest customer service. A size 8.5 boots should have been sent as a good will gesture.

well my first order didnt arrive and replacement ended up classed as lost,i ended up with refund but dont think i will be on site again
