Buyer Beware! Negative (Less than Zero) Rating due to Poor Order Logistics and Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced. Ordered two APC UPS Systems from Dell on 03/05/2023. Ten days later FedEx Tracking reflected UPS Systems had not left origin facility while Dell's system reflected they had shipped. After repeated attempts to speak with someone at Dell unsuccessfully, I was finally able to talk to a Dell Small Business Representative. Upon reviewing my order, the Dell Representative could not provide any specifics about the order status, whether products had shipped or an ETA of shipment arriving. At this point I canceled the order at which time the Dell Representative assured me that the order had been cancelled and that I would see a credit to the credit card used at time of purchase within 5 to 7 days. After 10 days and repeated failed attempts to receive a response from the Dell Representative and anyone else at Dell Customer Service there was no credit to my account. Dell's Customer Service for all practical purposes appears not to exist as their telephone call routing process is designed to avoid the customer not correct problems. As a customer I was left with no choice but to file a Compliant with my State Attorney General's Office. After six weeks Dell finally acknowledged the complaint. The supposed special Customer Service Representative who was assigned to the case was lacking any real interpersonal or business skills and was very poor at providing any timely and effective information, but was very astute at wanting to close the case. Dell finally did issue a Credit Memo; however, as of today, 06/27/2023 I have yet to receive a credit to my account. At this point I have disputed the charge with my Credit Card Issuing Bank. Fortunate for me the Issuing Bank provides good Customer Service and will correct the issue with my account. After nearly 4 months Dell has still not corrected their mistakes. Dell can now deal with the State Attorney General’s Office and my Credit Issuing Bank and I can purchase my two APC UPS systems elsewhere from a vendor that can actually deliver. In a free enterprise market competition is healthy and consumers have a choice. In the future I will be choosing a company other than Dell for my technology purchases. If you choose to do business with Dell, be sure to use a form of payment that can be disputed and file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office. Consumers do have protection and tools at their disposal when being treated unethically or illegally but must take the due diligence to resolve.

Have purchased dells for 35 years. Finally need to use service contracts that I have paid thousands for over the years. They set up a meeting time/place for tech to arrive and I stayed home for the day. Tech no show. Called at end of day and said they need to show tomorrow - agreed on 1130am. No show. Called to reschedule and I said no thanks. They said they could come now but forgot parts. Called dell and told them I needed a different tech. Battery not charging, they sent battery, no instructions, no comm, no call. I researched and installed myself, no fix. They sent battery charge cord, no fix. I called them and they said the parts were not even in until yesterday. I asked why I took 3 days off of work if the first tech didn't even have the parts. I asked for a refund on my service contract plus interest for value of the money today. Person on phone said they would check into it and call me if they needed something. I asked when I would receive contact regarding the refund. He said he didn't know that I even would because it's a whole different department. I guess a 35 years purchaser of personal and business computers for multiple businesses is no longer important to them. I will never buy a dell computer again.

Bought a gaming laptop in 2021. Dell Update, a program bundled with Dell laptops, showed there was a BIOS update issued by Dell. I downloaded the update and restarted my computer. The BIOS update errored out, then the screen went black. There is no display and no external monitor works on it now. I paid $39 to send it to Dell Tech Support to have it fixed, telling them that their own recommended BIOS update messed up my laptop. They gave me a repair quote for $209 (!!!) to have the laptop screen replaced. I rejected the repair and asked them to send it back. They sent me FIVE more emails telling me to "Pay Now" to have my laptop fixed. They kept my laptop for 3 weeks, then sent it back to me without fixing it. The total turnaround time was 29 days from starting the repair to receiving my laptop back, AND I spent $39 just to have them look at it. The BIOS update was from Dell! I posted about this on the Dell reddit, and a dozen other users experienced the same problem. I would give Dell ZERO stars if I could.

I would like to leave a 0 stars as my review! Wasted 3 hours on the phone with them on a product that has warranty and needs repaired, but no one wants to help, just keep getting transferred. Do NOT do business with Dell! I will not purchased anymore Dell products.

DON'T DO IT!!!! Dell is the worst computer company. If you have time to work with a slow computer that takes 2 hours to load up and once is loaded, takes forever to open apps and etc then be my guest.

Don't buy Dell. Purchased XPS 8940 July 2021, it would not power up March 2023. Of course, only 12 mo warranty so paid for "express" service shipping it to Dell repair center Houston. One month later they reply it needs motherboard, they need $200, I paid. two more weeks later they say must wipe/restore the hard drive to do this. The motherboard is a very odd design with an SSD mounted directly on the board. Bottom line DO NOT BUY DELL. You can't talk to repair center, call center is offshore and not helpful, and never had a motherboard go bad in my life. Also you cannot leave a product review on any Dell website - what does that tell you?

The XPS 9520 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900HK 2.50 GHz 32 gb ram is Absolutely the worse computer I have ever owned and I have been using computers since the early 90's After 3 months of use the screen started blinking like it was going to sleep. It started doing it once a day then went to every 5 min over time. I spent over 150 hours trying to resolve this issue with their help desk. Essentially 50% of the time I have had the computer I have not been able to work. Have called help desk over 25 times everyone at help desk tells me something different. Bottom line this laptop has issues. Im on my second one I have had 2 docking stations. 3 motherboards, onsite tech, OS reinstall, shipped to resolution center. Issue not resolved. Since it was over a month old they would not replace. So they shipped me a refurbished laptop. That lasted a week. New(refurbished) XPS 9520 new problem. Desktop appearance will change every 5 to 10 reboots. Icon's too far apart on desktop. Its like there should be another icon between them. Also the solid background color I choose will go to black. So I have started the process over. First up they want to reinstall the OS. If you have purchased this computer you should extend your warranty immediately. I have used multiple platforms in my 25 year career in IT and this is ABSOLUTELY hands down the worse product in terms of reliability that I have ever seen or heard of.

Hard to work with in simple daily tasks, like moving files from desktop to folder (even if your settings dictate a double-click to open). Turning volume down/ off on one page does not ensure that it's still off the following page. Just simple daily, normal repetitive functions are difficult with the Dell laptops, which is why they tend to be so much cheaper than HP laptops with less memory/ RAM and processing speed. Longtime computer users, like myself (trained in computer repair since the 1990s and using computers daily for work), should not need special classes and videos just to figure out how to work with Dells.

my AIO was damaged on delivery and that was following a messed up delivery by UPS. When I brought the damage to the attention of Dell, they offered me a replacement unit. Great, I thought, Well done. But when it came to it, they told me they didn't have that model in stock so could only refund the price. No offer of an equivalent, no offer of a slightly higher spec machine as a gesture of goodwill - nothing. I would have expected some sort of customer-focussed reaction but instead I am treated as if I didn't matter and my business was worthless to them. I will never deal with Dell again.

I bought one of the new Dell solid state drive PCs. The battery started to drain quickly after 2 years. Bought a new battery. When I started to change it, one latch would not release so I could not remove the battery. Called customer service. Could not understand the person. Finally reached someone I could understand. Since I brought the extended warranty I asked about warranty service. Sent it in for service. Got a call. Latch was not covered. Reason - customer abuse. All because I attempted to change the battery once. Finally paid the repair and got the PC back. Still did not work right. Gave it away. Dell does not stand behind their product or their warranty. Horrible customer service. Have owned HP’s ever since. Great products and customer support.

Would never buy a dell product again and could not recommend them to anyone. I've personally had the worst experience with their laptop and have wasted £1200 as I don't have a working machine at present. Purchased a Inspiron 2 in 1 a while back and from the get go I had multiple issues with the screen. I had it repaired through Dell (multiple times) however, each time it came back with the same issue or a new issue on top. After my Dell warranty expired their customer service refused to have anything to do with the product anymore (even though the issues and repairs had been ongoing and highlighted since the very beginning, some of which were caused by their repair attempts) I then paid to have it repaired through my private gadget insurance who have also been unable to fix the issue. I've now been left with a totally useless laptop which is only good for scrap as it blue screens after five minutes of use. This is such a shame because on paper the spec should be perfect. Very disappointed overall. I've been incredibly lucky that I've had a work laptop supplied by my company throughout this time, so I've still been able to stay online while my own laptop has been totally unusable.

Bought a 55 inch oled crazyyyy expensive Alien ware monitor for $4500.00 doesn't work after only 2 years and no one from dell can do anything about it to help me just tell me the warranty is expired. You would think for something worth that much money they would do something. I know its a monitor fault because i tried multiple outlets and cords. The monitor is just a piece. I do not understand how they can sell something so expensive that does not last at all. You have to save up for 4 years to buy a monitor that only lasts 1. Nothing is worth the money you spend with this company it seems. Wasted 4500 on this monitor could have bought 6 other good monitors with the money that would have had better warranties and service. Now it looks like ill have to figure out how to fix a monitor that's only been out for two years myself. There isn't even you tube videos on how to fix it because it hasn't been out long enough. Dell told me just to buy a new one. Who in the world has 4500 dollars to just buy another one after just 2 years? That is as much as a car like come on. I guess ill go get a solder kit and and capacitors and resistors and take the thing all apart on my own.

Dell products performs very poorly quality is not the same and I wish I had read many of these unsatisfying review before purchasing their Computer Docking station. I will not be purchasing any more of Dell products and recommend others to read some of these reviews before purchasing. When calling their Customer Service and Technical Support team very unprofessional and not knowledgeable. When you ask to speak to a Manager you are placed on hold for long periods of time, then they come back to the call and say they will be transferring you to a Manager and disconnect the call. Unacceptable and Unprofessional!

My computer XPS has a blue screen. I have been dealing with this for over a year. Because I didn't purchase the extended warranty, Dell is saying they will not cover the hardware issue and that I would have to take care of that. I have had this computer for 3 years! Come to find out that my computer guy tells me that he has 3 of these computers in the shop currently and that they all have the same blue screen issue. Do not buy a XPS. I will never buy another Dell computer.

I wouldn't buy another one. I've had my Inspiron 7415 2-in-1 for less than a year. I've had to call IT 3 times now. Twice because it won't power on at all and once because it kept locking up. Each time I call it's a minimum of 5 hours with on the phone with someone who can hardly speak English. Next time I'll pay up for the Mac Book. This is unacceptable.
