12/15 Tech support charge 120 $ and it did not fixed so email them to set a new support time for 12/16 4:00 PM. Never got a call so email them back about four hours of waiting time. After send email finally got a call but we were out for dinner so could not fix and they never apologized for not calling on time. So we set new appointment 12/18 at noon. We waited four hours but did not get a call so my wife went to hair place and they called still not saying sorry for not calling on time. But ths time they said they will call back four hours later. I still did not get a call. Right now i am going to bed 12/19 00:20 AM. Hopefully they not call me when I am laying on the bed.

Horrible customer service. All phone reps I could speak with in sales and customer service were based in India. They were unbelievably rude, and not helpful at all. I stated to four different reps that my issue was one that was pure customer satisfaction, and they could fix it - NOTHING was done. One even hung up on me. Dell has lost a customer.

Do not buy Dell ever. Terrible service and unreliable hardware. Dell doesnt honour warranties for brand new laptops if you lets say buy on Ebay in the U.S then happen to live in another country outside the U.S which i find absurd. Its just an easy way for them to get out of fixing or repairing their faulty laptops. I paid about $1000 USD for a brand new laptop on Ebay. In less than a few months the HDMI port stopped working. Dell then said they dont have a service center here in the Philippine, yet they have Dell stores where they sell their Dell laptops and computers. So Dell sell their crappy faulty machine yet offer you no decent way to fix them. They referred to to their authorized partner in the Philippines Millienium Technologies in Quezon city who quoted me 200,000 PHP which is about nearly $2000 USD to fix the HDMI port. What a scam! They quoted twice the cost of the laptop just to fix the HDMI port. hahaha. Then they lowered it to about $1200 USD after i complained, still a ripoff, and just shows how much of a scam business they are. And Dell authorizes this! Then after another month laptop battery malfunctions, and Dell again wont fix it, but just refer me to Millenium Technologies who again quote way over the market price for repair. This time about 6000 PHP (about $140 USD) for something that should cost about $40 USD. Dell is just a pathetic company. Dont even buy Dell. Buy Asus or Acer or from a company that actually sell decent laptops and then provide their customers with a proper means of repair should their brand new products be faulty, and not try to scam them!!!

Bought a replacement computer after being treated very badly by another computer company Compadvance. What a contrast Dell were, so helpful along with a top service, only matched by few other companies, including Amazon

Dell computer breaks frequently. Customer service does not help, but offers a $300 service contract.

This was our first time ordering anything from Dell. Boyfriend ordered an LG TV online on a Friday. The TV came Monday afternoon in a very clean, undamaged box; yet when the box was opened we find the TV is damaged with a large shattered area in the screen. Why on Earth is there a damaged TV in an undamaged box? Makes no sense. We were very excited to be receiving this TV, only to be left disappointed. Needless to say, we won't be ordering anything from Dell again.

Their customer support is complete garbage. I called multiple times trying to get a simple answer as to how a product worked. No one even knew the product had what I was talking about, yet it was right in the sales video. I got hung up on, and games were played with me. I was once a loyal dell customer. Now I say beware.

Terrible customer service, worst I've ever come across. I'm being refused my legal right to return goods bought online due to a mistake on their website order form (classed me as a business not a personal consumer). So far I've received nothing but generic emails back that haven't once addressed the original issue I raised. I wish I'd seen these reviews before I bought directly from dell. Never again.

Dell simply plugs their desktops together, and doesn't actually set them up. That's on you, usually at the cost of HOURS on with support techs who literally use generic pre-scripted step by step how to's... and when they fail in getting it set up... tell you that you need to reinstall the OS... or need to replace parts (keeping in mind this is on brand new out of the box units), etc. It'd be like buying a new Cadillac, adding a navigation system option to it, and then having to spend days on the phone with GM so you could use it.

I am extremely disappointed with Dell. I purchased a PC on October 19 and selected 2 day shipping. I called to check the status on it on Monday October 23 as I should have been receiving it that day. They said it hadn't even shipped out yet, but they will expedite the order and I will receive it on October 25. I called today, the 25, to check the order and they said they just finished processing the order, it hasn't even shipped out yet!!! I ordered this PC from Dell for my office as our servers were hacked and needed new equipment. I chose to order from Dell because of their "professional" business equipment, however, when ordering online and stating it's 2 day shipping, I expect 2 day shipping, not a week and a half! This has been extremely inconvenient for my business and I do not recommend ordering from Dell online to anyone who needs their order quickly!!!

First of all, after pressing ten buttons, when they connect you to a customer care, they'll randomly disconnect the call after keeping you on hold. My computer is just a year old and already has a faulty hinge that will not allow me to close it. No other laptop I have used had had this issue and Dell claims to be super study and reliable. After doing a hardware analysis over the phone, Dell classified this as a 'cosmetic' issue when it renders my laptop impossible to use, and said it's not under warranty. So they connected me to their sales team who slammed me with a massive screen replacement bill of INR 8000 without offering to even look at the laptop. When I requested for a technician, they said they'll charge inr 1500. Also, they'd take two wks and won't let me keep the old screen. So basically, without a diagnosis, I have to go ahead and pay them inr8000 and they'll take away my current screen as well, after two weeks of waiting. That's how shabby their service is. These guys have the worst customer support I have seen in recent years. If this corporation had a shred of integrity, it would have moved to a different planet by now. Shame on you, Dell. Your customer care sucks.

Someone purchased a Dell computer using stolen identity information for a nursing home resident. Dell shipped the computer to the thief's address. I called them to tell them the fraudulent purchase via a Dell credit card has shown up on the victim's credit report. They switched the billing address from the crook's address to mine. I have sent them all kinds of paperwork, they continue to bill. They refuse to speak to the police who have made an arrest in the case. They have now turned it over to a collection agency. This has been going on for 10 months now. They know where they shipped the computer and it wasn't to the victim.

I just bought a new laptop. it doesn't work. the screen keeps shutting down. I called the tech support and they said something wrong with screen and transfer me to other department and then the phone keep transferring... long story short, they made me to cancel the order. what's a customer experience I got. I'll never buy dell system anymore.

I got the new xps 15, and the touch screen stopped working in less than 1 month! Dell said that i need to send it in for repairs and will take around 10-12 working days to fix it... being a college student it is impossible to survive without a laptop. They offered to send me a brand new laptop and i get to send the old one back when the new one comes. I still feel that this is complete nonsense as the laptop is like a month old and this issue shouldnt be happening...I asked them for some sort of compensation and they said that its company policy that they cant....

I bought a refurbished laptop from Dell. It had a Pentium i7 processor and 8Gb of RAM but from the start, it was slow, with disk usage constantly being at or close to 100%. I should have just sent it straight back, but I didn't have a spare computer and I couldn't be without one. Also, I didn't want to go through all the research again. I spent hours on the phone with their support person doing, what I now realise was just running through a list of standard checks and procedures. Eventually, they came and collected it and, after a few days, sent it back with no changes made to it at all. I persevered with it and eventually made a complaint via Resolver.co.uk. That got a result, and someone rang me and took me through some steps that helped. However, a year later, disk usage is frequently running at or near to 100%. I don't game or watch films or run any resource-hungry programmes and I don't have hundreds of browser tabs open. I keep my anti-virus and anti-malware software up to date and have plenty of spare disk space. I feel that a PC of this spec should not be struggling with what I use it for.

I sent in my business laptop for repair, it was shipped back over a week later, still not working with a new issue. Parts were updated in my laptop with newer firmware than my hard drive, making the hard drive unusable and needing to be replaced. When I asked how can I recover the data on my old hard drive I was told I would need to contact a third party. I have a business account with Dell with overnight shipping included in my warranty for tech issues. To have to deal with more issues after a week of being at the repair center is infuriating, and the data issue sends it over the top
